Busas are definitely not overrated. Theyre perfect for what they do and they are not comparable to R1's or any other 1000s. Busas are road bikes, drive further, be much more comfortable and look decent. I owned a R1 and plenty other bikes. Busa is a better road bike period. R1's are great at what they do go fast, are stable and lean like a mofo. The engine rpm issue and underseat heat got me off mine in just 3 months.

Busa and R1 are both great bikes.

You cant compare the two.

The busa wasnt made to compete with the R1.

Sure the Busa is big, fat, but thats the point, it was made like that in purpose so that it could be the fastest street legal motorcycle when it was designed. That of course makes it harder to handle.

Pros and cons to both.

i love the busa but u couldnt even get max performance on the street not even with the r1 .. u get speed up to 180 and one slip up and ur finish .. i choose the r1 way sexy vs big fat busa

r1 is lighter, smaller, quickk but not quicker and looks better

busaa is quicker but too bigg

R1 is stock faster 1/4 mile i have oone i would know! No on open freeway after about 130 yeah the lame busa would pass but there ugly fat lame

@k0v095 Stock busas aren't even quicker. I guess the top speed is but the r1 will get you to 190 just as fast if not faster. The r1 has the same amount of horse power and it ways like 100 pounds less. Around the track the busa has no fucking chance. The only way I would ever consider a busa is if I got an $8000 turbo kit. You can't really use that speed anywhere though because your looking at 189 mph 1/4 mile in the low 7's.

i didnt say they are the same class... and i dont say anything against ppl who like the busa, but in my kind of view the r1 has more advantages against a hayabusa as motorcycle without looking on the class, cc weight etc
