  • @diguiand000 That was the case, but women back then were treated like property. Women like Anne Boleyn were used by their families to gain bountiful fortunes, and elevated ranks in nobility by either being the mistress of the King and/or being ladies in waiting to the Queen to gain favor. Members of the royal family were pawned off to arranged betrothals and marriages for political and dynastic purposes.

  • LOL puta de lujo !!

  • I am so glad Anne got what was coming to her in the end.

  • I don't understand that some women say Anne was a amazing woman, I think only if they are whores, sluts, interested, really bitches and empty of dignity, like Anne.

  • @FelipeNeriMKT Well, those are the 2 sides, the people who adore Anne and the ones who dislike her. Personally, I think she achieved a lot for a woman those days, even though she herself was certain she would die (there was a prediction about a queen being burnt), she continued her path

  • @Natulcien1992 lol no digas mamadas, Ana era una puta y si a las putas las ensalzan estos días no hay duda de porque el mundo esta como esta

  • @FelipeNeriMKT I don't think so.

But there will always be people who has sympaty for Katherine, Anne or Jane..

Yes Anne seduce Henry but she wasn't only one of his mistresses.

She cared about the childs she would have with the king because of this she didn't want to be a mistress.

And, the marriage of KoA and Henry was over before Henry fell in love with Anne.

It wasn't her fault that he want a divorce. He want it before Anne.

  • Anne was just a troublemaker, and NOT in a good way! Other than Katherine Howard, she's the worst! PERIOD.

  • this is the anne i adored...kind natured and sure of herself..before she was corrupted and immersed in jealousy and insecurity....

  • Anne Boleyn and Katherine of Aragon are my favorite wives of Henry VIII, which is funny since they greatly disliked each other. They were both intelligent, generous, and courageous. Henry was a fool to mistreat and discard them.

  • if katherine gave him a son , anne could remain just a mistraiss (for more or less time) he wanted a son this is the point , a son that katherine couldn't give him anymore and when he will discover that also anne will not give him a son he will rid of her like he did with katherine

  • Anne Boleyn was evil and conniving. And Henry was a man whore. He never really loved Anne Boleyn or any of his other "queens", he just used them to have a son. Everything Anne convinced Henry to do was one big mistake! And Katherine did not deserve the treatment she got from Anne and Henry. Katherine was the only true queen of England and Mary was the only true heir to the throne. Henry's other "queens" were and are nothing.

  • both of them feared Katherine, because she could raise an army against them if she would wished, dethrone Henry with the help of his nephew, the emperor, and crown her daughter Mary like the legitimate queen and heiress she always was.

But Katherine loved to much that bastard and the people of Englando to make a civil war

  • @astrofabio68 The great irony is that had she done that whilst Henry was trying to get the divorce and brake with Rome the English people would probably sided with he against Henry.

  • @diguiand000 Henry never did any reformation, he was always catholic..he did a schism..not a reformation...Edward and Elizabeth were whom made changes in the England church, not Henry..

  • @astrofabio68 Henry VIII started it but Edward and Elizabeth did finish it...the slight difference with them is that with Edward, he was a hard lined Protestant. Elizabeth was more moderate and tolerant to the Protestant and Catholic side. Henry VIII on the other hand was my way or the highway. Anything that deviated outside of the six articles and no matter who you were, you would be charged with heresy.

  • anne may have been henry's love at the time but kate was still his queen

  • he loved her neck so much then why did he cut it off

  • and the queen was right ... the king did tire of her ....

  • I believe they respected each other but if Henry don't after Anne Katherine would of really of liked Anne for herself. but Henry did fall in love with Anne and it showed a lot.

This is just my out look on it.

  • I thought ladies in waiting weren't considered servants

  • "Puta de lujo" LOL

  • "I love your neck": Bone chilling.

  • wow Katherine and Anne are soo pretty!

  • Go Anne, one of the most amazing queens that ever lived (the other of course her daughter Elizabeth l )...i wouldve done the exact same thing if i were in her position.

  • @roxylulu1 Take another woman's husband well good for you.

  • @MelinaPendulum Yes actually good for me, because if i did the exact same thing as Anne Boleyn I would then have change England for the better, provided England with the greatest and most succesful monarch that ever lived (Elizabeth I) and left behind a powerful legacy. Owned.

  • @roxylulu1 So in your opinion then: causing religious unrest that led to death of thousands is great, getting a good woman send into complete poverty where she developed cancer and died it acceptable, causing an innocent adolencent girl to become emotional abused for years making her physically and mentally ill, killing good clergymen is alright, and leaving a three year old alone in the world (one who while you may have loved was unhappy to have a girl) to fend for herself.

  • @MelinaPendulum Did 'Bloody Mary' not burn hundreds of innocent protestants? You need help if you think thats alright. Also, you cannot prevent cancer, even if she was still on the throne, she wouldve died when she did. As to Mary, it was never Annes decision for Henry to disown her, Henry did it. Anne had no say on regards to Mary. And do really think that Anne would willingly seek death knowing that Elizabeth would be alone?

  • @roxylulu1 First off, I will say that I am an Anne Boleyn fan, but that does not mean that I would step over Katherine. Anne may not have been the one to hold the sword, but she was definitely the reason for a lot of unrest and death and she accepted her place for the advantages. Enormous changes in a child's life, such as losing a parent or falling in disgrace are sure to have devastating effects later on and you should know that the development of cancer is aided by stress, fear, anguish, etc

  • @roxylulu1 Um, where did I say that Mary was alright? Also, even if Katherine had gotten ill it was her horrible conditions that caused her to deteriorate faster. Also, of course Anne wanted Mary disowned. She is quoted often as to saying "she is my death and i am her's" in reference to mary. Also Anne would often bribe Mary by saying that if Mary acknowledged her as queen she would reconcile Henry and Mary. She did have influence.

  • @roxylulu1 Look, my comment was not made to say that you shouldn't be an Anne Boleyn fan. My point is that your are not looking at the whole picture. Anne was in love with Henry Percy and when Henry VIII kept harassing her and tormenting her, plus Wolsey (under the king's command) broke her engagement so she wanted revenge. She decided to become queen because it was her only option to gain some control. Her life was not glorious, it is tragic, which is what makes her a great historical person.

  • @roxylulu1that was not the merit of Anne, Elizabeth was the one who developed her talent..come on! If I have succes is because my mother!...hahaha

  • @roxylulu1 Oh yeah really amazing..! very original indeed..because what she did is that all the women in history..seduced a man to have power..! ooh..very smart and unique indeed!

Katherine introduced in England ,the concept of education for the ladies in court ( like her mother the queen Isabel I of Castille did in Spain)..she was the first woman ambassador in history..she led an army and won a battle when Henry was in france.she was , mercifoul, wise, honorable and grat mother...yes like Anne

  • at least Henry VIII respected Catherine of Aragon unlike King Henry II of France who was very disrespectful to his wife, Queen Catherine de' Medici

  • amazing women in their time. both very respectful and mature ladies

  • Katherine of Aragon was not only the rightful queen but a greater woman. she was proud, wise, and kind and loved by all the people. she was a great queen and leader, for she led england when henry was in france. though anne was also intelligent, katherine was more and just as beautiful when she was young. i love all the stand offs they have between each other. katherine either stares her down or shows her who is boss (queen in her case)

  • They are both amazing women. I am more of a Katharine fan, since Anne was really mean to both Katharine and Mary, but there are several moments where Anne is a very sympathetic character.

  • Maybie I'm wrong but i think that Anne Boleyn scared of Katherine of Aragon all her life. She knew that Katherine is great Queen and everybody loves her. That's why Anne respect her.

  • Very true, but at the end of the day regardless of whether you like them or not they're royalty and you have to show them respect. x

  • I agree with you.

I love Anne Boleyn and Katherine of Aragon. They was both amazing womans! :-)

  • @stokrotka1011 yeah but theres nothing the queen can too anne without

his say so she knows that

  • @stokrotka1011 And because since the divorce of Katherine of Aragon, Henry had the power to let her suffer the same. That is what Henry said in one scene and Anne later told her brother.

  • @stokrotka1011 I can see that. In a way, I think Katherine feared Anne as well because she saw her as a threat to her marriage and therefore also a threat to the crown.

  • @stokrotka1011 I think you're right on that one. But I think that Anne was scared of how Henry VIII could easily brought her up and then destroy her and her family with no qualms (or though it didn't happen) dump her to come back to Katherine or another woman to be his mistress. Katherine on the other hand saw Anne as a threat to her marriage and her rightful place as Queen of England once Henry started treating Anne more as a consort than her.
