It's awesome to see everyone rocking out. Everyone stayed in their seats in Louisville. I was the only person that wanted to jump out of my chair when Shara cameo out.

Unbelievably epic. I love The Decemberists' usual style, but something about seeing them do some nice, heavy rock gets my juices flowing. Here's to hoping they try it again in the future!

Shara Worden blows me away. What an amazingly powerful and soulful voice. When I first viewed this (and especially another vid of this concert) my mind went immediately to how she is the 21st century Grace Slick, who is the best female rock vocalist of all time imho.
This was the first time I was turned on to The Decemberists music too and I have to say I'm much impressed (downloaded a bunch of their recordings). Gotta love the 'Net. =)

Absolutely haunting vocal performance. I recommend people check her out on the Dark Was the Night compilation. Check out the whole thing come to think of it.
