Halo is one of the few games out there with outstanding story and multiplayer modes, with a seamless blending of voice-acting, music, and graphics. c19c94c is absolutely right- Halo transcends the "game" label into something more. Say what you will about CoD or Metroid or Duke Nukem- Halo is still the best. Bungie outdid virtually every other game company in existence with this series. I'm glad they went out with a bang.

I had only a few complaints about Halo Wars.

1. The Flood were a joke in this game except on the hardest difficulty.

2. You could not play asThe Flood in vs and there was no campaign for the Covenant.

3. It is VERY under appreciated.

Halo has a incredible storyline, telling the tales of many heroes in the deed of trying to save humanity. The struggle that mankind fought for freedom and the endless hatred and horrors of a war. It may be a game, but it seems to blend in with reality. Play the game and you'll feel like you lived in the war.

This a story that happen to me as i play HALO WARS in single player, the AI was automatic, and i thought it was easy so i took my time to create my army. Then, those assholes attack me, the both enemy AI attacked me, i had Marines, Tanks and HAWKS but i made easy work of wave one, wave two was bigger and worse they did not stop comming, and my line was destroy, i was down to three Spartans and 6 MARINES. The Spartants did easy work on the troops but the MARINES got killed by Royal Elties...

Love this game to pieces, I know alot of people completely hate it, but Idc , I had incredible amounts of fun with it and im going to get it again, i mean, the ability to find a scarab, attack it with 3 scorpions with spartans in them, and THEN drop a 10 odst's behind it? They were the best of my MARINES but the ELITES used cloak and surrounded them, they did not stood a chance, they had no chance against the SPARTANTS how ever, but then... he came. The ARBITER, two of my SPARANTS were down and my base took a beating, when all seemed lost, the ALLIE AI drop Marines from pelicans, tanks and 3 SPARTANTS that help me defeat the last wave of the COVENANT, the ARBITER how ever ran away for the momment.

But the AI is not all useless.

I dunno. I think they will do what theyve done for Wars. Wars is set a LONG time before Halo 1, when Harvest was under heavy fire from the covvies.

Reach will probably be like RIGHT before Halo 1.

Cos only TWO things happened on Reach that can be for a game. The Training of Spartans. Thats probs only used as a tutorial I bet. And the final battle of it. Red Team with every Spartan 'cept John, Linda and James. The three I just said are blue team. Red planet-side fighting covies.

Actauly yer wrong bout the Fall of Reach time. The ending shows just before the PoA does a jump randomly. Protocall requires u to jump even without proper co-ords to pull the covie away from Earth. The PoA did a jump to Halo just after Fall of Reach.

Altho the timing at the START of the book is jut when John got kidnapped at about 6.

So yeah the timing will be ABIT long. halo 1 should only last a while in REAL days because the Halo landing/escape was roughly a week.

But Fall of Reach is years

Reach takes place when John and his 6 other Spartan squad mates were children in the UNSC. It probably wont show their child training but yet show the Mark V projects and Reach's defeat. Read the book Halo the Fall Of Reach. It fills in alot.
