  • Two brothers, even though they may squabble and fight

Come together in times of tragedy to make it all right.

    --Suomy Nona

  • (Hetalia= Human Personifications of the nations, very good anime series)

Hetalia fan. I love Canada and America's brotherly love! This video makes me want to cry! TuT Ahhh, so sweet! I love you Canada!

    -Random American.

  • we all poke jokes about one another but fact is through everything we will always be the closest allies and its great to know we can rely on one another, and remember there are internet trolls both in america and canada dont take it to heart they live to get reactions out of people haha

  • as an iowan canda you are freakin beast

  • As a Minnesotan, i love you Canada.

  • Best national anthem.

  • Tom Brokaw has class. Great comeback at the end, too.

  • I hate to be spoilsport but I can't help but feel that Canada is taking the credit for some things that were mostly British. While Canada has done a fair bit in Afghanistan, the US still has 90,000 troops there as opposed to the second highest UK 9,500, therfore the UK is the US' most reliable partner in Afghanistan. The D-day landings were although an international effort, mostly it was american and british of the 156,000 troops around 22,000 were Canadian, 61,000 british and 73,000 american.

  • @AlexHWalker You don't hate being a spoiled sport, you did it on purpose to pat yourself on your back, like a typical Brit. And yes, you have more troops than us. You also have 3 times our populous. But like most Brits, you're so full of your own shit, you can't even smell it any more. It was on D-day, your wonderful country fucked mine over. Sending us to the worst possible places to save valuable British lives, and let the Canadians die..and Aussies, And Kiwis, etc. So save your rhetoric.

  • @Jethromcsheepherder Fair enough sometimes I do, like many Brits, like being a spoilsport, but when it comes with anything to do with the Olympics I absolutely HATE being a spoilsport. Don't get Britain confused with America, they're the obnoxious over-patriotic idiots who claim they won WW2 single handedly (Russia did most of the work). Before I go any further how many Brits do you actually know? And also do you speak to them often? You can't base a whole nation on some individuals.

  • @AlexHWalker Sorry for my hard words btw. I just shoveled a mountain of snow, and its -40 and took my angst out, and didn't show my 'canadian' politeness. So let me please apologize for that first and foremost. You didn't deserve that type of 'rhetoric' and hate speech. But as for Brits, I know many. You have to remember, this is a nation of immigrants. And all across this country I've met Brits. I can't count how many tio meet in passing, but to say I 'know them' personally, 9 to be exact.

  • @AlexHWalker sorry, character limit, so to finish answering your questions, and I agree with how the Americana way of spinning is by far worse than what you, or most Brits have ever done. But to clarify one thing, 9 is the number of English people I've met. I know more Scots and Irish than that. And I've never ever met a Welshman, or woman for that matter. In fact, I can't even think of what their accent is like. But God bless, and take care.

  • @Jethromcsheepherder -40?! I wouldn't survive 5 minutes in that (Brits complain if it is not between 15 degrees celcius and 25 degrees)!

My dad's Northern Irish and I go there nearly every year, so I of all people know that there are problems in Ireland but it's not like all people who live in (the isle of) Ireland want to be part of the republic, the troubles between the two were caused by disagreement on religion and were only amplified by Britain's (nevertheless wrong) involvement...

  • @AlexHWalker PS. I still talk to 3 of them regularly. 2 are couple from Northshore Blackpool, and one is a dude I met in college was from Surrey..which is near London somewhere. All are nice people. But let this be known...I am half Irish. Many of them have mountains of hate for those people from the Emerald Isle for what has happened the last 100 years...and yet...don't like to admit that Britain has the same dirty hands in that war...and just blame the Irish..which causes us to debate..

  • @Jethromcsheepherder ...however Ireland has now sort of forgiven us, the Queen visited there with barely a hitch, and it is the only nation apart from the UK and Greece which the Olympic torch is going to, so the relationship is improving.

    Anyway Take Care!

  • @AlexHWalker The Queen went to Ireland..wow...did the devil learn to ice skate too? jk...glad to see that things are going better over there. Like I said, I'm only half Irish. The other half is viking. My cousin married a guy from Belfast, and he's a bit out there. Unfortunately, he seems to live UP to the stereotypical Irishman...thankfully I've seen the other side of them more often to know he's just an ignorant and not a real Irishman. I should, and will, do you Brits that same courtesy.

  • @AlexHWalker U just dont got the part where we only have the 1/10 population of the states. Just check the ratio of army per population.

  • @hevo1 The UK only has 1/5 of the USA's population. UK has population of 60 million even though we are a group of tiny islands floating off the coast of europe. Britain still has a larger Army:Population ratio than Canada.

Canada is the world's 2nd largest nation but it only holds around 0.5% of the world's population, which is quite frankly unfair as the 100 miles radius of the US in Canada is much larger than the whole of Britain.

I do really like Canada as a nation but I hate wrong Facts.

  • @AlexHWalker My comments were based on the army size related to their participation in WW2.

On your comments of unfair size of nation per capita. You are welcomed to move millions of people in an area that will be freezing cold most time a year. Canada may be large, but it takes some guts to live in it.

  • @hevo1 Obviously you know nothing about the weather in Canada.Check out such places as North and South Dakota, Montana,Wyoming,Idaho,Minnesota,Wisconsin and Michigan for cold weather. The high temperature in Toronto last summer was 37.3 degrees Celsius or 99.4 degrees Fahrenheit. If you want to bullshit people do it somewhere else. I'm in Kingston Ontario and the coldest temperature here so far this winter has been -7 degrees Celsius--or 19 degrees Fahrenheit for two or three days at most.

  • @700kotchi I am Canadian... And theres a reason why 90% of the population is in southern Canada. Why dont you see big population in Northern side? there's your answer.

  • @700kotchi Ahh yea do a google on "canada population distribution map" in case you still dont think im right.

  • @hevo1 It takes guts to live in Canada because of the weather you said. LMAO. You say you're Canadian .With an attitude like yours you're welcome to leave at any time. By the way I don't need to Google anything about Canada including the population distribution since I have lived her all of my 60 years and know more about Canada than your wee brain could possibly imagine.

  • @700kotchi mmm.. Very UnCanadian of you to resort to name calling instead of logic and sense. Not to the fact that you missed my point. The weather in the greatest area of Canada makes it unbearable to live in. Thous, the reason why most population is in the south. Explained to you in case you still dont get it.

  • @hevo1 When you learn proper English and grammar I may have another reply for you but for now I'll just say that as far as I can see I never called you a name but if you'd like me to I think retard would be suitable. Thank you for explaining to me and I quote "Thous, the reason why most population is in south." My great grand daughter just turned three years old and her English is ..I'll talk like you so you understand..many percentages betters thans yurs. Wherever you came from--go back there.

  • @700kotchi Lucky you, here in Winterpeg were feeling the -30s Celsius :(

  • @ProtectDavid You have my sympathies. Get a jug of wine and listen to some Guess Who and maybe you'll feel warmer :)

  • @AlexHWalker If Canada has such a small population perhaps you could tell me why in WW2 we saved your British arses and American's arses and the ignorant French who we should have shot on sight as we would a Nazi.Perhaps you've heard of Juno Beach,Dieppe the liberation of the Netherlands on May5th,1945.Canadians.I'm glad you like us "as a nation" Myself I have no love for Britain and glad to be rid of you other than the ceremonial post of GG.Off you go with Queen Liz...inbread bastard she is.

  • @700kotchi Firstly there is a word for that it's called propoganda, like America takes all the credit, it appears Canada does (I am not as easily influenced by propoganda because I know Russia did the most, but given the 50 years that followed the west don't like to think of it), before I saw Canadians as polite, honest and straight talking people now I see some as bullshitters. Secondly get a life, stop trolling through comment boxes replying to everything you see and do something productive.

  • @AlexHWalker I will do something productive your highness. Block you. By the way my life is as good as good can be. Too bad you have to spend your time making shit up. See ya later asshole.

  • @700kotchi The satisfaction of getting a prejudice bullshitter out of your hair!

And FYI if you are reading this I was telling the truth there, it wasn't made up. And I did not say Canada was not useful in WW2, they were a key player, I am saying that taking all the credit or the credit as America's closest ally in WW2 and Afghanistan is unfair as 1. That states that the US does 99% of the work (Which it doesn't) and 2. The truth is Canada has a comparitively small army than other nations.

  • Canada ''Fistbump'' America

  • The fellow saying he can register a gun is ignoring the fact that if it was a fundamental right you wouldn't have to register your guns.

Specifically, hate speech including holocaust denial in Canada is covered by Section 3 of the Canadian Human Rights Act, and sections 318, 319, and 320 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

  • In Canada it is illegal to own many kinds of firearms, it is not a constitutional right. Also, unpopular speech like holocaust denial, racist speech, and preaching against homosexuality are illegal.

  • @olivelevel A lot of what you say is untrue. I'm not sure what our firearms laws are like... but we can deny the holocaust and be racist and preach against homosexuality. Sometimes we get in trouble for it... but sometimes Americans get in trouble for it, too. For every guy who gets knuckles rapped for un-pc speech there are thousands getting away with it.

  • @olivelevel No, no, no, no and no, having lived here from birth, what you're saying is fucking stupid, do me a favor and pull up the federal 'law' that tells me I can't go outside and yell "Fags suck" or "the holocaust didn't happen" not that implying I would, I want the page, the version and the exact fucking line where it says I can not speak freely, and line line where it says I cannot register a gun.

Sir go have a wonderful night and stop being a conspiracy fag, thanks.

  • americans and canadians bros for life

  • Canadians have no civil rights. They are creepily like Americans, shorn of their rights to free speech and to keep and bear arms.

  • @olivelevel And the evidence you would have of this is...?

  • Did the guy have a speech impediment?

  • Okay. I don't always agree with the decisions made by the American government, I might have some divergent views on religion and a few other things to genuiely pisses me off about the US and it's people, but DAMN am I happy and pround I've found that video just now. Long live our mutual friendship and may we stand strong together against anything thrown at us! we love you americans!

    - A Random Canadian

  • Heroes don't wear capes, they wear dog tags.

    So true.

  • :)

I'm now proud to be canadian! ^.^

  • As an inhabitant of Michigan, I fucking love you Canada! :)

  • @xXSayakonoXx thanks bro windsor

  • @xXSayakonoXx As an inhabitant of Ontario (Your neighbour), I love you too Michigan. I look on you as brothers, and we share the beautiful great lakes, which defines us both, and makes us bretheren.

  • @xXSayakonoXx As an inhabitant of Surrey BC, I freakin' love you too America!

  • @xXSayakonoXx We love all American's but the people from the Northeren States are just like family.

  • @pugilistbacon: I'm sorry, but at this point some of the things that America has done and still does with the whole hearted support of their people can no longer be accepted by Canadians. Furthermore, over the past 2-3 decades Canadians have started to finally become truly and vocally patriotic again, something we lost between 1960 and 1990. With this in mind of course there's going to be more clashes, especially with the condescending and in your face American patriotism we are bombed with.

  • Does anybody know the names of the songs in the background?

  • Woot! Canada and America!

  • Thumbs up for Canada :)

  • Canada's our bros, bros

  • The Canadian and American people are friends, its our respective governments that suck and we should all remember that.

  • @pugilistbacon I take it you are an american because america is always down talking canada and saying shit

  • @pugilistbacon Isn't that how best friends work though? You talk shit about the other one in a good natured manner.

  • He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

  • @pugilistbacon agreed, like that time we burned down your white house..lol sorry i had too

  • @pugilistbacon It's because YouTube (and the Internet in general) is full of ignorant people who just want to pick fights instead of appreciating what is good. I agree with you--it's what I've been saying all along: Canada and the USA are pretty much best friends, and we should act like it. Nice to see someone with some more maturity.

  • I think some people think this is a puff piece for Canada and it offended them. Grow up. Yes,this was an unexpected puff piece from an American network.Think about that...Think about what the American ancherman said. Did he have a gun to his head?Funny I did not see one in the video.Canada does not seek fame. We take everything in a moderiate dose, thats the differance between us.Sometimes we fail, sometimes we succeed, but its always a happy median. We dont need to be on top like some people.

  • @gloinstrong, Do a little research moron. Canada is your number one trading partner. We supply Oil, Hydro and many natural resources. We are also one of you largest allies and hundreds of Canadians soldiers have died fighting alongside Americans. Economically? You have one of weakest econmies in the world with over 10% employment so how are you helping us when you cannot help yoursleves? Stop playing Xbox in mommys basement and educate youself before you speak stupid shit.

  • @gritzydgb8 "Hundreds of Canadian soldiers".......Even that is a stretch. One of the weakest economies in the world because of 10% unemployment? You obviously aren't an economic major. We still have a 1000% better economy than Canada, and still the #1 economy in the world. You utterly fail. See the sad thing is, we would have to be in a recession for another 350 years before our economy stoops down to Canada's joke of a economy. Get over it.

  • @gloinstrong Do understand the diffrernce between a good economy and a large economy? 10 percent unemployment of 300 million people is not good. Bailouts are not good. Americas "best best best" economy crediting borrowing rating losing + points is all bad. A sound economy is one that flourishes with employment and GDP growth. Americas is shrinking. I dont know what community college educated you, or where u get your basis for what is a "good" economy and "joke" of economy.

  • @gritzydgb8 Sadly our community colleges are on par with Canada's universities. Also, this slump that we are in, is mostly from policies borrowed from your pathetic country. You see, socialism doesn't work. It that is very apparent by just looking at Canada. A sub-par country for the last 100 years.

  • @gloinstrong who has crushing debt again? because last time i checked Canada was just fine, the United states.... kind of broke

  • @gloinstrong You talking about education......lol....thats a good one!

  • @gloinstrong Stupid people are funny. Stupid Americans are very funny. You are especially funny. When you went to your fancy University you never bothered with the class on sentence structure, did you? Please don't bother answering......your answer will be stupid and boring. Praise Jesus!

  • @gloinstrong You're weak attempt to spew knowledge is masked by your ignorance and arrogance. Luckily for America, people like yourself have a limited role in running the country. Good luck mastering you inferiority complex. BTW just because Canada provides free health care to all members of society does not mean were are socialist people.

  • @gloinstrong Oh and please enlighten us with the Canadian "Policies" which put America in this slump? Was it our banking practices? Oh right, Canada leads the world with one of the most sound banking systems and practices in the world. Maybe it was our policy on war, yeah thats gotta be it. If not blame it on socialism, I would.

  • @gloinstrong World War 1: 64,976, World War 2: 45,400, Korea: 516, Vietnam: 110 and Afghanistan: 157

""Hundreds of Canadian soldiers".......Even that is a stretch.", try doing some research before saying something that retarded.

  • All this fighting is B.S. I live in Minnesota, so pretty close to Canada, and we always get along. Don't start nothin, won't be nothin! We share a continent and a border, let's just be friends and STFU already.

  • TWDY ftw

  • thanks for being Canada's pants, USA. You make sure we aren't constantly exposing ourselves and jizzing all over europe's face. Here's to another over9000 years of being awesome hat and pants.

  • @gmikoner I genuinely LOL'd.

  • tl;dr

We're proud to call you our hat Canada. You keep us dry in times of downpour, cool in times of heat and we look down right dashing with you atop of us. Here's to another 200+ years of lookin' good.

  • @redcorpse Hey, your hat here... to be fair we did a bit of a shite job of keeping the snow off last year. We'll do our best this winter! Although to be honest we're off to a poor start.

    We'll try out best America!

  • I love you Canadians. We couldn't ask for a better country on our border. ]

  • Leave this lot losers!

  • We are a military family and a mixed one. Half of us live in Canada and half in the States. Every time I visit the US I meet wonderful people and enjoy myself immensely. Here in Canada we have a different perspective of things. We are not as insular as America. We are also not as free. We are not as xenophobic as Americans but we are not as generous. We're not big flag wavers though many Americans wear ours overseas. We're buds. We both have corporate rule and believe we are free.

  • We're nice; all is ask is please don't tease us because of it.

  • Could someone send this montage to Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart?

  • This makes me proud to be a Canadian!

  • @pugilistbacon the united states ARE like brothers like sisters... now get the fuck outta the way when the family argues you cheesehead

  • I know that when best Canadian friend heard that my husband had died suddenly, her husband had her on the next available flight in an hour. It took 16 hours and 4 flight on Aeroplan miles.

Her family insisted she come. Her managemnt at the government of Canada told her that they would help her adjust the time so that she could save her holidays. The Canadians pulled together for me, and I will never forget it!

  • Were brother's, can one say anymore.

  • bro'z forevar! ;')

  • Thumbs up if you honor those who have fallen on the Highway of Heroes.

  • @HeadSHOT604 i dont honour anyone who has fallen on the highway of heroes, besides i have never heard of anyone dying on the highway anyways, except for some drunk drivers.... because thats just pathetic, i do respect all those who fight over seas for our freedom

    lol,

  • @deandro985 Who do you even know how to read? I said "...honor those who have fallen on the Highway of Heroes." if you don't get what that sentence says/means then your an idiot and need to go back to 5th Grade.

  • @HeadSHOT604 lol calm down, im just quoting u on what your sentence literally means, i know what ur saying though, may we never forget those that have fallen...

  • @HeadSHOT604 lolwut's that?

  • @theawesomestawesomer Really......>.>

  • @HeadSHOT604 Yeah, really

  • @theawesomestawesomer Well there is something called "Google"...

  • @HeadSHOT604 Never heard of it

  • @theawesomestawesomer Oh you poor little thing...well the Highway of Heroes is the King's Highway 401 in Ontario; the reason it is called the Highway of Heroes is because when Canada loses a soldier in a far away land, they close the highway and carry the soldier's body and their family in a convoy along the highway and as they do thousands of Canadians line up across the highway and honor the fallen soldier and those who have fallen before him/her.

  • @HeadSHOT604 They do that EVERY single time a solider dies?

  • @HeadSHOT604 That's a bit much to do for EVERY solider

  • @theawesomestawesomer Wow....dude that's kinda disrespectful. We honor our soldiers because it's possible Canada could have suffered a terrorist attack by now if they had not fought for us, of course that isn't the only reason. These are our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, etc. they sacrificed so much just so we can have our freedoms and they deserve respect for their achievements as well. It's also moral support for the families.

  • @HeadSHOT604 Name 1 other country that does that. Tell me.

  • @theawesomestawesomer None....

  • @HeadSHOT604 Eeeexactly

  • @theawesomestawesomer Yah and that's because people in most countries don't give a shit in fact in Britain soldier can't even wear their uniform in some places because it might offend someone or they may get abused...We're a proud country and care for others and our own.

  • @HeadSHOT604 So the entire country is in mourning when 1 solider dies?

  • @theawesomestawesomer No not everyone cries out but at least people here listen and know...why are you even questioning what I say? Did you even watch the video I'm telling the truth >.>

  • @HeadSHOT604 No, I know you're telling the truth.

  • @theawesomestawesomer Alright then let's end it at that, I must go to work.

  • @HeadSHOT604 Making maple syrup?

  • @RebelStallion change "we" to you faggot only you say that little kiddo

  • YEE BUDDAY!!!

  • I was in Canada one time all the way back in 2000... Not very far in... But it was very cool to be there.

  • Never forget the sacrifice of our men and women ... Never forget the highway of heroes , and please pay your respects to our military and families regardless of the Afghan mission. They deserve it, and it's about time our generation realizes how important OUR Canadian Forces is.

    Thank you

  • I wish the Americans would truly understand our country and how it has changed since 911. We now have 1/3 of our population as unbridled immigrants. Canada is BEING DESTROYED BY IMMIGRATION. The population in 1980 when Terry Fox ran it across it we were 21 million, now we are 34 million. If America brought in 110 million people America would be ruined too. We are direct, direct cousins as other posters have put it, but we are under collective attack.

  • Comment removed

  • I would gladly fight along side Americans any day, for when it come down to it we are cousins. We would defend each other at any cost!!

  • @pugilistbacon "Dude, remember that time we invaded Normandy?"

  • Why are Canadians and Americans fighting about this...As a Canadian I don't agree with all of the US foreign policy, but I don't have too! I'm not American. I love my country and would gladly sign up to fight for our freedom, when the US is at war I support our troops who fight for them....We are 2 independant but inter dependent countries period...Its great to be patriotic, rah rah rah, just don't do it at someone elses expense.

  • The Iranians should have found the bastards, another stain on Canada by admitting that. During a Republican debate Ron Paul said, they are pissed off because we have been screwing around over there with our CIA. People obviously do not know their history. Nor seem to care, by the looks of the video.

America light, United States little brother. Hands over its citizens to do lots of time for silly crimes here in the states that would be punishable by a simple fine in Canada. Facts..

  • So is it a competition to see who has fought most in the wars? Because it is a badge of honor you know, imperialism and highly destructive wars. I bet the majority of you are Christians, just as fake as the ones down here huh?

  • @Martial024 I don't think it's a competition... A lot of people state side don't know that Canada participated in major world conflicts. They were stating facts so people would know a little more about the history of Canada.

  • I was smiling and giggling like a little school girl through the whole video x]

    Damn you Hetalia!

  • Canada... according to the Gallup World Affairs poll, you are the Americans most favored nation. Always at the number 1 spot for the poll's entire 11 year history... except for that one year when the UK beat you. :p

  • @AdmrScheer

I feel so priviledged to be canadian and all the perks that come with it ( I reside in a Montreal suburb called Laval) and more importantly in world polls too we are usually favored however with being the u.s major allie in Afghanistan and bombarding Lybia I am not so sure anymore.

  • @italo36 From what I've seen from most 'foreign' news, the U.S. takes most, if not all the ire... I'm sure everyone still loves Canada. :P

  • Canadian Customs is not exactly WELCOMING either! I've always said the problem is NOT the longest border in the world, IT IS the PORTS of call in BOTH COUNTRIES that need to step up SECURITY!!

  • God damn it (in tears) I dont think I can give crap to Canadians anymore... I dont have the heart to after this. Oh Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
  • Comment removed

  • this video clearly describes what's canada about

  • @jkk20 better than we canadians could

  • @cheomire no doubt.. i even learned a thing or two while watching the video

  • @RebelStallion normally I"d tell turd's like you to stay in school but I can see that it's done so much for you already....lolo.

  • What's with all the hate people. We are neighbors, friends and allies. Sure we may not get along on all issues, but for the most part we do. I live in eastern Canada, and have family in Boston, so I was cheering for the Bruins to win the cup, and, so glad they did. To the person who hates Canada, I ask, "Why do you hate us,sure maybe some Vancouver idiots trashed their, and all of Canada's reputation, during the Stanley cup, but, on the east coast (PEI, NS, NFLD and NB), we are not like that.

  • @ceilidh524 Yeah, you would rather vote for some American team over Vancouver, a fellow Canadian team. Some fucking patriot.

  • @3x0rcyst3m I LOVE CANADA... hockey is a sport, not a nationality you idiot, so don't question my patriotism! Also, have some respect and good manners...I just called you an "idiot", not a "F**king Idiot". I just questioned, in my earlier post, why two neighbors can't be friends (Can & US). I AM A LEAF FAN,but I also have family in Boston,so that's why I was cheering for the Bruins, since the Leaf's were out. Vancouver, didn't act "Canadian", after seeing the riots, so why cheer for them!

  • @ceilidh524

    1) I never said hockey was a nationality. TEAMS represent cities/countries! thats why the canucks have a canadian flag stitched on their jerseys.

    2) I questioned your patriotism, I never called you anything. So you calling me a "fucking idiot" does not show that you have respect or good manners either.

    3) More people helped during and after the riots, than actually started them. + Vancouver is ranked 3rd most liveable city in the world, you guys need to get your shit together.

  • @3x0rcyst3m 1)YOU questioned my patriotism! Read my origional blog,I was trying to build a bridge. 2)Read what I said,I called you an "idiot" NOT a "Fucking Idiot" (I don't curse!) YOU, called me a "Fucking patriot". 3) I said "some Vancouver idiots" trashed their, and all of Canada's rep, not all people from Vancouver are like that. Please learn to read and comprehend what is written before you go off in a tangent!GHEEZ! No wonder there is so much hate, nobody takes the time to comprehend!

  • @ceilidh524 " Vancouver, didn't act "Canadian", after seeing the riots, so why cheer for them!"

no mention of "some vancouver idiots" ... i suggest you use your own reading advice and look over your comment

  • @3x0rcyst3m Look at my origional post a month ago.I did say "some Vancouver idiots", meaning "some", not all of them were idiots. What can't you understand...it's people like you that give Canada a bad name. I was being positive about Can/US relationships, and you try to pick a fight with me, by calling ME a "fucking patriot" for cheering for the Bruins! Last time I checked, Canada was a free country, so I am free to like Americans, so get over yourself, and stop criticizing my choice

  • @RebelStallion Wow. Way to set an even MORE mature example for the Americans. This is a great video and on personal experience, Canada is actually a beautiful country with wonderful people. Every place has its flaws. And if Canada wasn't worth shit like you claim, then we wouldn't be so co-dependent upon their resources which they so generously trade with us. Fact is, they're our strongest ally but we aren't each others' bitches or slaves. Get over yourself, 'fellow American.'

  • @RebelStallion your either delusional or 12 ...you guys alway steal from others the only things you guys are generous with is war and those mcdonalds orders....now go back to sleep slave

  • This is my Canada, God she's beautiful. The true North, strong and free.

  • Haha. Great video. I'm a dual citizen of both the US and Canada. I grew up in BC and moved to the USA when Clinton was Prez. After 8 years of Dubya I had to move back to Canada. When I left back in the 90's, the loonie was trading at 65 cents to the US dollar. Now the loonie is stronger than the greenback. Payback is a motherfucker.

  • 0:42 - 1:00 I'VE GOT CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE! :'D Damn! I wish to see Canada in *person* So many photographic opportunities! :)

  • I am a Canadian and I love America. Canadians who bash Americans are idiots.

  • @Fumbling68 It's not our fault they make it so easy

  • @Fumbling68 canadian warmongers should go live in america

  • Amen

  • @iamcondescending I live in Southwestern Ontario and work as a Lobby girl in a McDonalds.. I have been asked by people all the time to put thier garbage away for them, I can unsderstand some seniors, people with small chilren and some handicap people.. but I have seen a lot that will just leave thier garbage there. Wish more people would put thier trays away.. its not that hard to do.

  • No one could have ever prayed for more wonderful neighbors, or been given such a perfect blessing as we have in our friends to the north. Thank you for everything from an American.

  • All Canadians and Americans are pretty much the same.. we were all a British colony before the Americans gained their independence.

  • @Saigong1 not quite natives, my ancestors were not a british colony

  • man WHY DID JFK DIE :( i feel sad

  • Something Tom forgot to mention is that both US/Canada jointly operate the Cheyenne Mountain Directorate responsible for defending all of N. America and the Arctic Circle. Every other day an American or Canadian commander oversees the operations. May the closest relationship in history live on forever.

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix

He left out a lot... would be kind of hard to fit everything into an Introduction. I mean, the US and Canada have 300 treaties and agreements that govern their relationship.

You'd need a multi-hour special or something to convey all that. :p

  • I love going to america, love driving through the Appalachian Mountains , Love spending the week down south, Its very nice. I hope people have as much fun when they come to canada.

  • I always have fun when I go to Canada... Victoria especially.

  • This kinda makes me proud to be Canadian... Is that weird?

  • @AgonyInTheShadows

    Not at all.
