  • A very good episode!! One of my favourites!

  • “To save humanity from enslavement I’m going to take my wife’s hand, would someone please take mine?”

Liberals: join hands for the sake of all humanity.

Conservatives: no fucking way, the disease makes you ugly. Fuck everybody else, I’m holding out until the rest of humanity gets here and see if I can strike a deal acting as a Kapo policing the humans and stay pretty. Everyman for himself, like Ayn Rand said: “I’m on board, pull up the lifeline.”

  • @bjphysics Wow, put a mighty strain on your tiny little brain to come up with that one didn't you?

  • This is what should have happened in HALF-LIFE

  • The best episode of Outer Limits- maybe the best TV episode Ever. Bet Rod serling was very envious of this one!

  • Thanks for posting this most excellent episode.

  • Outstanding.

  • Most excellent entertainment. Hollywood moguls should stop taking drugs, wine, and women and be forced to sit through sthe Outer limits episodes. Put the quality back in viewing instead of making it a numbers game. Well thought out story, acted decently, music appropriate with an ending makes you proud and contemplate. What if these people went along? What if they fought and lost? To the Aliens, it is a numbers game. Out of billions, they would prevail unless we show them death as an option.

  • If this were to actually happen,here,today....one has to wonder what the outcome would be. Considering the ghetto mentallity that is permeating our civilization.....I would dread to see what would happen...

  • I always loved the music at the end of the Outer Limits. Very, very erie.

  • I liked Vic Perrin's closing narration, beginning with "It could have happened to any neighborhood". It said something about the nobility of the human spirit

  • This is basically a huge allegory of the New Testament - Christ sacrificing himself for humanity. The church setting with all the crucifixes and statues of Mary is quite deliberate.

  • Very moving - right up there with Trek episode "The Inner Light" for emotional impact and content.

  • @tubexert the inner light episode of sttng was just outstanding it reallly let patrick stewart deal with subject matter that was worthy of his acting range i like the one masks too where data is introduced to a alien races mythology while it turning the enterprise into its alien world.

  • Another great episode scripted by Joseph Stafano

  • Brilliant writing and story. Still holds up over 40 years later. Saw this show late night when I was a kid during the 80s in rerun and it still moves me even to this day.

  • why didnt the humans fight instead of a slow horrible death.should have done what capt pike did on talos 4 threaten 2 blow up the away team via force chamber explosion of a phaser you saw how the talosians back down, they should have burn the town down and killed as many as possible.most logical choice, since if they by-passed earth, another less fortunate race would have been made prisoners which the aliens eluded to, like the borg, these aliens needed 2 b wiped out,al kiled, not 1 left

  • why did the aliens even think they could even enslave humans, these people should have talked to the talosians , we are too violent of a race !

  • After all these years this ep still send shivers down me spine. Thanks mate.
