I am thankful for my Apostolic brothers who made this. Only thing is at the end of the video it says "All of my beloved trinitarian brothers and sisters." I hope whoever wrote that was referring to them "as brothers according to the flesh" because we shud know they don't worship the same Jesus we do and to say they do is to try to fit them into the kingdom of God when Jesus said in Jn 4:24 "God is Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in spirit and in truth." Come on Oneness bros.
I have a couple questions. How do oneness believers correct the verses that put the Father and Son in the same place at the same time? Can God make Himself into two Gods (Father and Son) for a time being? If Jesus was the Father then did He lie when He said He didn't know the hour of His return only the Father knows or was it a play on words? What about the opposing wills pointed out in this vid, if the Son is the Father? I really don't see how these can be corrected with out changing the bible.
@chassr1 I used to attend a Oneness Pentecostal church. No I attend a Non Denominational Christian Interdenominational church. Oneness Pentecostals take scriptures out of contexts. Sometimes they don't understand it fully. Sometimes they twist the truth because they don't understand a verse. Jesus is not the Father. God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Co-Equal. Co-Eternal. Co-Existent. Jesus was bot Man and God. Jesus had a Divine and Human nature.
@chassr1 Jesus who stands second in the Trinity/Godhead is the only one who manifested in flesh. So Jesus has two Divine Natures. Divinity and Humanity. His Divine nature is limitless and his Human nature is limited. As his Divine nature he would know strangers names, raise the dead, cast demons out without any authority from the Father, heal the sick, go on for days without eating and drinking, rebuke temptations. His Human nature he would eat, sleep, drink, pray to the Father.
@chassr1 God is one God. God has a Divine nature that consists of three persons. God is the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. God the Father. God the Son. God the Holy Spirit. Simple as that. God can be in more than one place anytime. Jesus purposeley didn't want to know the hour. Jesus chose to leave that to the Father. I don't know why but I think he was showing honor to the Father. Read the Bible. I hope this clears a few things up for you. God bless you, your family, and enemies.
Yet we know Jesus is the savior, and only by His name can we be saved (Acts 4:12) So for the scripture to be true, Jesus must indeed be the Author of Creation! The Alpha and Omega. Jesus = God in the flesh, not a part of God sent to Earth, but indeed God HIMSELF! YAHashuah = God (YAH) is become my salvation (ashuah). Pronounced Yah-ha-shuah.
@ApostolicOutpost Likewise, the answer to the Proverbs 30:4 question is Jesus Christ! For in Matthew 28:19, Jesus tells us that we shall baptize in the name (not names) of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and the name is revealed in Acts 2:38!
the godhead is such wantonly obfuscatory nonsense that it bears no scrutiny. as for the soul, there is no reason to believe there is such a thing. there are no irrefutable philosophical arguments to support the notion. They tend toward the absurd!
Jesus said to him, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God." - Luke 9:62.... oh friends, don't look back! No matter how hard the pull, no matter the tug to turn your head and glance back at th...e unsatisfying filth of your sin! DON'T DO IT!
I'm inclined to disagree with your idea of "oneness". I got pretty confused after watching this. Confused about God being manifest in the flesh. Jesus did the will of the Father. Jesus prayed to the Father. Genesis 1:26
Jesus is both fully human and fully Deity. He had to be fully human to fulfill the payment for sin. Jesus quite clearly spoke from both and He certainly prayed from His humanity.
If Col. 2:9 states "For in Him dwelleth ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily" then that fullness must contain the role of the Father. The Father indwelled Christ.
Jesus prays from His humanity in John 17:6 and calls the Father the "only true God". If the Father is the only true God.....
...then whatever deity Jesus possesses MUST be of the Father. Otherwise you have one person of God praying to another, saying He is "the only true God" forming a huge contradiction.
You have a spirit and a body - does that make you two persons? When you die and your body is no longer, will you become another person or have you just shed the duality of being human? If not, then why would it be any different for God in the incarnation?
But when it says that all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily I don't think that it means Jesus alone is the godhead. There is still the Father and the Holy Spirit and they are seperate.
"For in HIM dwelleth ALL THE FULLNESS of the Godhead BODILY." So the question is this: Is Jesus a member the Godhead or is the Godhead in Jesus?
He is all we will ever see of the Father, who is also the Holy Spirit. There is only one Spirit. You see, all is fulfilled in Christ - Father, Son and HS in one "place" - rather, expression. Now, this was written after and pertaining to the fact that Jesus is now resurrected and glorified.
What I actually meant was I thought God was undivided before He came to earth in the flesh, but it came out as "Jesus is the Father". But then one has to contend with Gen. 1:26. Jesus is the invisible God made visible. Every knee shall bow to Him. But originally God does not have a flesh body. Anything else I think I'll answer privately =)
I would be happy to discuss the topic with you if you are interested. Perhaps we can discuss the why's behind it.
Did you view my video "The LORD Is One - Part II" yet? Its a "beautiful to watch" video that shows why Genesis 1:26 and the use of the plural pronoun cannot be speaking of multiple persons. Seriously, it is literally impossible.
Are we not a triune being as well? We are body, spirit, and soul; but that doent make us 3 seperat beings. Jesus was fully God (spirit in Him) and fully man (flesh). God can not die (he is eternal) and the bible tells us that He gave up the ghost and died. Tell me, how can almighty God die and be eternal at the same time; eternal is having no beginning and no end. Simple, the only way this can work is trinity of offices or dispensations, not trinity of persons or personality.

We have a mind too, but it is ourself. It isn't somehow seperate. It's ours, a part of who we are. I haven't studied up on it. ~Matthew 22:37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.~ Mark 12:29, 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, AND with all thy strength~The lesson is the complete sanctification of man, not about anatomy.
is it the mind as far as the cells, or what controlls those cells. I don't understand your point, how can you say it is us or part of who we are. The soul is the inner man that lives in the heart; the bible says "as a man thinks in his heart. Matthew 9:4
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
I though the only thinking faculties were in the mind. We also know that there are five linlets to the mind. how can we think from both??
With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. How can this be, two different things here.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This scripture specifically describes three distinct or seperate things here. We do know in grammer that the word "and" is a conjunction; which connects seperate events or things together in a sentence. It connects different things together into a sentence. Why would multiple scriptures explain spirit/soul..
How can some things be taken literal and some things as a metaphor or to add emphasis. You mean to tell me the Bible is redundant and has mistakes. You say the mind, but the cells without a life in it is dead. Do animals have a soul, how are they alive and living?
You compare it to the rest of the Bible. The Bible isn't explicit about animals, all I can do is go by what it gives. We agree about the mind/brain =)
Gonzalesjg, IDK. I haven't studied it and I'm talking to you as if I have. Ignore me. I've always personally believed we are an immaterial soul in a material body, never crossed my mind that spirit is something seperate. I don't know how the heart and mind are different either if they are. I suggest you study for yourself, ask more reputable sources than me because I don't know and I need to do some research of my own. Please forgive me if I've caused you confusion. I'm confused myself.
I believe Jesus flesh was just dirt as it is with us all, He was made like unto us, however, Jesus Christ was God from the beginning. God made Himself a body. Never really understoond what was meant by "person", but God said "these three are one." I believe that before God made Himself a body He wasn't in 3 pieces in heaven. Jesus is the Father incarnate. I'm a trin. I thought they believed this. I'm a little confused. I need to study.
You may not like what you find when you really get into the doctrine and what it actually teaches. True blue trinitarianism teeters on the fence of tritheism. It is darn close. Most of the people who profess to be trinitarian don't really understand it and are actually closer to Oneness beliefs in reality.
A common and erroneous argument presented against Oneness theology. Even trinitarian scholars worth a grain of salt agree that this passage has absolutely nothing to do with presenting an idea of multiple persons within the Godhead.
No Mark, it puts me outside of Catholicism, of which standard protestantism came. I honor the Father just as much as the Son and vice versa.
The problem is that most individuals THINK they understand oneness and do not. The Son is not co-equal to the Father in His humanity and Jesus stated it several times. However, in His deity He is co-equal because His deity is of the Father Himself.
The protestant reformation had nothing to do with the trinity. The issue never came up because both were in agreement on who and what God is. It was about how does God save someone.
If you deny the trinity, when you die, you go to hell.
2 John 1:9
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. Jesus taught the trinity in John 15:26 hence you are outside his body. Please repent.
First of all, if belief in the DOCTRINE of the trinty was so important, why is not explicitly taught in Scripture? What IS taught repeatedly is that the LORD is one. Outline salvation and you will find it nowhere.
As to your statement, Jesus made something clear in the proceeding chapter:
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another (X)Helper, that He may be with you forever;
"that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."
Who will come when speaking of the HS? "I will come". Yes, the Spirit is Jesus. I don't buy separate persons but God may manifest Himself however He chooses.
I get back home this month, can't wait. Im already working on a new vid called "The Trinity described as ONE MAN?", Ill send it to you when i post it.
I got to reading this comment again. I do believe that trinitarians are monotheistic but it is dangerously close to polytheism or tritheism. Either way my friend, I truly believe that you are saved - oneness and trinitarians alike. Look at Tali...He is trinitarian and a very godly man who is obviously washed in the blood...And he one of my most dear and cherished brothers in Christ.
However, I do believe that trinitarianism is incorrect understanding. We should not divide over this
Is there something you are having trouble making sense of in the Scriptures? If so, I will try and help you as time permits - work is calming down some and I am not working 65-70 hours this week - praise God.
Hey Alex! I've been in the same place you are now so I know where you are coming from bro and it's better to believe what is written instead of beliving doctrines of men from some council. Pilate once asked what is truth? Have you forgoten what the Lord says? I Am the way the TRUTH and the life. Pray and fast and ask God to lead you is the best advice I can give you.
It is not a salvation issue IMO. I do believe the oneness position is the correct one but I do not believe that if one is trinitarian that they are not saved. I know many wonderful brothers and sisters who are trinitarians that have the evidence of the HS in their lives.
Actually I do not attend a UPC or Apostolic church. Actually I attend a trinitarian church...LOL. I see where scripture teaches the oneness doctrine but it does not mean that trinitarians are not saved by any means. It is not a salvation issue IMO. It is just a matter of understanding.
Yes my friend, I was baptized into the name of Jesus Christ many years ago and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with immense presence upon being raised from the water and so the grave.
My knees went out from under me, I was shot through with fire and tongues poured forth. Interestingly, I told God not to let the pastor be disappointed while walking down into the water because I wasn't going to speak in tongues.
It was the last time I told God I wouldn't' do something.
Truthorfable says: "Thanks for not reducing our Lord and Savior down to second position"
Amen. Interestingly I have heard many say quite the opposite about oneness theology. However, it presents Jesus in the highest position possible. There is no higher Christology to be had.
Thank you for commenting and may you be forever blessed by His love and grace.
Yes, we use that also my friend. However, I typically use Father, Son and Husband. But the issue is that these are all terms of relationship and not 3 separate persons. 1 person can hold all three of these titles but be different ones depending on the relationship.
I do agree there is one Lord, but the scriptures make it clear that these 3 are one. How do you then explain? 1 Cor. 15:28"And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the SON also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all."
The word "subject" meaning a person who is under the dominion or rule of a sovereign or a person or thing under the control or influence of another. How do you explain that one?
Um! I have to disagree with that statement, and yes I have looked into it. The KJV is not one of the only bible versions that have that verse. It is the only version that has that verse. Also the KJV was not translated from the latin vulgate. It was translated directly from the textus receptus to English by William Tyndale who was burned on the stake by the order of the roman catholic church for doing so.
Yahweh is God's name. The name Yeshua literally means "Yahweh Is Salvation". It is no different than Jehovah Rapha or Yahweh Rapha to be more correct which means, Yahweh Heals.
The name Jesus is just a transliteration mess from Aramaic to Hebrew, Greek, Latin to English. It means the same thing - Yeshua.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.(1John 5:7 KJV) This verse makes it clear to me as well.
It is fact that the verse you quoted as from the KJV does not exist in ANY Greek manuscript prior to the 16th century. The KJV did use the Vulgate as a primary source of translation as well as the Rheims translation directly from it. The KJV translators admitted it and it is public knowledge.
I am not arguing with you but it is a fact that cannot be denied. Please watch my series "The History Of The English Bible And Reformation" for more info.
Well I dont know, because that exact verse is on William Tyndale's translation of the Bible, and you can read it online. He translated it straight out of the textus receptus. He was also fluent in French, Greek, Hebrew, German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish.
Also, all the newer english versions after the KJV, were translated by Wescott and Hort. Those guys translated the english Bible from the Alexandrian-type greek text, and that text and that paritcular verse had already been corrupted removed first by Origen who recorded other works stating that Jesus was a lesser God. The same claims Jehovah Witnesses make. The orignal greek manuscript(textus-receptus)was written by the original apostles in Antioch where they called christians first (Acts 11:26)
Another thing, I am conducting a very careful study on this issue at the moment, pardon me. Anyway, even if the verse 1Jn.5:7 was false, I still dont see how it contradicts what is read in John 1:1-2 where John writes the claim that God and the Word are seperate yet they are the same, and also in John 14:26. Where Christ promises us a comforter the Holy Ghost. John makes a distinction of all 3, yet he states these 3 are 1. "And the same was in the Begining with God"(Jn. 1:2)
And so you should be careful. If there is one thing that I encourage, is that one should study the Scriptures deeply and with reverence.
I encourage you to watch my series "The Cornerstone Of All Truth" and "The LORD Is One". They may help you in your understanding and search for knowledge in this area.
As for John 14:26, I would encourage you to back up to verses 16-18. Speaking of the HS, who did Jesus say would come to them?
Thanks I appreciate it, but I found my answer already. In the word of Dr. Jack Hyles, I must have every Word if I speak His message. If I didn't think I had a perfect Bible I'd close this one, walk out that door, I'd never walk in the pulpit again.
If you are comfortable with the Spirit's guidance then follow it so long as it lines up with the Word.
Its okay to disagree on matters that do not pertain to salvation and I respect your position.
At least know that I consider you a brother in Christ and that we worship the same God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - even if we understand Him differently.
Grace to you in Him my friend and be forever blessed. Don't be a stranger : )
I am thankful for my Apostolic brothers who made this. Only thing is at the end of the video it says "All of my beloved trinitarian brothers and sisters." BY THE WAY,
IF TRINITY BELIEVE IN GOD AS 3 PERSONS, A PERSON CONSISTS OF 3 PARTS
1.SPIRIT
2.SOUL
3. BODY
SO IF THERE ARE 3 PERSONS IN A TRINITY THERE MUST BE 3 SEPARATE GODS WHICH THERE IS NOT.
THERE CANNOT BE 3 GODS, AND ONE AT THE SAME TIME.

Most of the people who profess to be trinitarian don't really understand it and are actually closer to Oneness beliefs in reality.
Grace to you friend.

How do you explain God as "us" in the Garden of Eden?

A common and erroneous argument presented against Oneness theology. Even trinitarian scholars worth a grain of salt agree that this passage has absolutely nothing to do with presenting an idea of multiple persons within the Godhead.

Sounds like you believe there is a distinction of persons
October31st1517 2 years ago
Oneness is a heresy. You must honor the Father Just as you honor the Son. If you deny the trinity this puts you outside of the body of Christ.
October31st1517 2 years ago
No Mark, it puts me outside of Catholicism, of which standard protestantism came. I honor the Father just as much as the Son and vice versa.
The problem is that most individuals THINK they understand oneness and do not. The Son is not co-equal to the Father in His humanity and Jesus stated it several times. However, in His deity He is co-equal because His deity is of the Father Himself.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
The protestant reformation had nothing to do with the trinity. The issue never came up because both were in agreement on who and what God is. It was about how does God save someone.
If you deny the trinity, when you die, you go to hell.
2 John 1:9
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. Jesus taught the trinity in John 15:26 hence you are outside his body. Please repent.
October31st1517 2 years ago
First of all, if belief in the DOCTRINE of the trinty was so important, why is not explicitly taught in Scripture? What IS taught repeatedly is that the LORD is one. Outline salvation and you will find it nowhere.
As to your statement, Jesus made something clear in the proceeding chapter:

John 14:16-18
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another (X)Helper, that He may be with you forever;

Alex,
I got to reading this comment again.

God bless you my friend.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
Press on! God bless!

It is not a salvation issue IMO. I do believe the oneness position is the correct one but I do not believe that if one is trinitarian that they are not saved. I know many wonderful brothers and sisters who are trinitarians that have the evidence of the HS in their lives.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
Yes, you are quite correct. The KJV is a good translation and I use it often but it has its shortcomings. This is a prime example of one of them.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
the maker of this video must be UPC or some other Apostolic sect
LOGICvsYTIDIOTS 2 years ago
Actually I do not attend a UPC or Apostolic church. Actually I attend a trinitarian church...LOL. I see where scripture teaches the oneness doctrine but it does not mean that trinitarians are not saved by any means. It is not a salvation issue IMO. It is just a matter of understanding.
Grace and peace to you.

Praise the Lord bother, Have you been baptist into the Lord Jesus Christ name? Romans 6:3-4. Acts 2:38, Acts 10?
John17:3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Thanks for not reducing our Lord and Savior down to second position
In Jesus name God Bless
Truthorfable 2 years ago
Truthorfable,
Yes my friend, I was baptized into the name of Jesus Christ many years ago and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with immense presence upon being raised from the water and so the grave.
My knees went out from under me, I was shot through with fire and tongues poured forth. Interestingly, I told God not to let the pastor be disappointed while walking down into the water because I wasn't going to speak in tongues.
It was the last time I told God I wouldn't' do something.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
Truthorfable says: "Thanks for not reducing our Lord and Savior down to second position"
Amen. Interestingly I have heard many say quite the opposite about oneness theology. However, it presents Jesus in the highest position possible. There is no higher Christology to be had.
Thank you for commenting and may you be forever blessed by His love and grace.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
I am a Father, son and brother yet I am one person. I believe this is the analogy Trinity folks try to get across when it refers to the Godhead.
LOGICvsYTIDIOTS 2 years ago
Yes, we use that also my friend. However, I typically use Father, Son and Husband. But the issue is that these are all terms of relationship and not 3 separate persons. 1 person can hold all three of these titles but be different ones depending on the relationship.
Grace and peace brother.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
I do agree there is one Lord, but the scriptures make it clear that these 3 are one. How do you then explain? 1 Cor. 15:28"And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the SON also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all."
The word "subject" meaning a person who is under the dominion or rule of a sovereign or a person or thing under the control or influence of another. How do you explain that one?
zmode82 2 years ago
Um! I have to disagree with that statement, and yes I have looked into it. The KJV is not one of the only bible versions that have that verse. It is the only version that has that verse. Also the KJV was not translated from the latin vulgate. It was translated directly from the textus receptus to English by William Tyndale who was burned on the stake by the order of the roman catholic church for doing so.
zmode82 2 years ago
So then, what is the true name of God? Is it YHWH or is it Yeshua? or is it both?
Shalom & Agape
theheat151 2 years ago
Yahweh is God's name. The name Yeshua literally means "Yahweh Is Salvation". It is no different than Jehovah Rapha or Yahweh Rapha to be more correct which means, Yahweh Heals.
The name Jesus is just a transliteration mess from Aramaic to Hebrew, Greek, Latin to English. It means the same thing - Yeshua.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.(1John 5:7 KJV) This verse makes it clear to me as well.
zmode82 2 years ago
Friend,
It is fact that the verse you quoted as from the KJV does not exist in ANY Greek manuscript prior to the 16th century.
God bless you.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
Well I dont know, because that exact verse is on William Tyndale's translation of the Bible, and you can read it online. He translated it straight out of the textus receptus. He was also fluent in French, Greek, Hebrew, German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish.
zmode82 2 years ago

zmode82 2 years ago
I want to be as extremely careful with this subject for fear of commiting the only unpardonable sin as mentioned in Mark 3:29.
zmode82 2 years ago
Friend,
And so you should be careful.
If you have questions about oneness, please ask.
ProphecyChannel 2 years ago
Thanks I appreciate it, but I found my answer already. In the word of Dr. Jack Hyles, I must have every Word if I speak His message. If I didn't think I had a perfect Bible I'd close this one, walk out that door, I'd never walk in the pulpit again.
zmode82 2 years ago
If you are comfortable with the Spirit's guidance then follow it so long as it lines up with the Word.
Its okay to disagree on matters that do not pertain to salvation and I respect your position.
At least know that I consider you a brother in Christ and that we worship the same God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - even if we understand Him differently.
Grace to you in Him my friend and be forever blessed. Don't be a stranger : )
