I'm positive it will. This is possibly the most highly action packed games up to date. Not to mention, the details and over the top cutscenes in this, a lot of potential effort has been poured in the game as well as grand ounces of attention.

It is safe to say that this game deserves it.

@Xport9 HUGE bosses, and tons of over the action that resemeble DBZ action does not deserve awards. Oh and you may say what about creativity? Most ppl call "buddha statue w/ machinegun" creativity here, but it has been done before. AND on top of that what saddens me is when ppl say "buddha statue". None of these are buddha statues. Ppl need to study original buddhism and hinduism to understand what those are. Sadly no one bothers to read now a days.

On the gameplay, this is actually pretty typical of Cyber Connect 2. They make wonderful games with beautiful aesthetics and a no-punches-pulled story, but the gameplay remains lackluster. Think about .//HACK. Those games were amazing, but they had the gameplay variety of an MMO without being multiplayer or online.

No. What this game is, is spectacle. It looks amazing and I imagine it feels amazing to experience it, even if the gameplay is lackluster.

I'm looking forward to this.

Sorry Capcom, I'd still rather just replay Bayonetta. You know, that game made by the people from Clover after you shut them down? Those same guys who made Viewtiful Joe and Okami, which both got spots in MvC3 instead of Mega Man? The guys who are currently developing Metal Gear Rising because Kojima needed a team that knew how to make a kick-ass action game?

Oh but thank goodness you got CC2, the talented folks behind such action classics as .Hack and a bunch of licensed Naruto games.

@godzilla4189 I wasn't actually arguing anything, I was just making fun of Capcom because they suck nowadays. I actually really like CC2, I had Tail Concerto and the first three or four .Hack games back in the day and while I don't really like Naruto from what I've seen those games are pretty good too. My point was, if I want Devil May Cry style fast-paced action, and I've got a choice between CC2 and Capcom's people and Hideki Kamiya's team, I know who my money's going to.

People keep saying this game has lots of gameplay but as far as I can tell from this video AND the demo is that its more cinematics then gameplay. So......are you people just saying this because you're just some crazy fan of this game? Or is it that you played the WHOLE game even though it's not released yet? I dont want to sound harsh but I trusted a lot of people who said certain games were good even before they were released and more often then not, they were wrong.

@BeyondaWeirdo That still doesn't change that everything we've seen so far is pretty much an interactive cutscene. Great cutscenes mind you, especially in the demo, but there's hardly any actual fights and stuff. I mean I hope there are legions that the gods have bestowed power on to fight him, as opposed to all quick time events with a few target and shoot moments. I see that getting old real fast.

@SmokebuoyII it depends mostly on the person. I know this game doesn't have as much gameplay as skyrim or other pieces of shit but i like "epic" and you know, exciting cinematics. I pay $60 for a 3/4 cinematic 1/4 gameplay game? If it's worth the experience, SURE, I'LL TAKE 2.

The thing is, a game like Skyrim or Fallout makes ME fall asleep. It's boring as hell because of the sheer amount of TEXT.

I know i'm basically buying a cutscene infested game but at least it excites me..

@SmokebuoyII Actually, most of the cinematics are interactive. So even when the game is in cutscene mode, usually you're very much in control of the action, except for the opening and ending.

wow..... asura spent the entire 2nd part of the first 18 min of the game fighting a giant earth squid from space.......... and kratos spent his getting his green,blue, and red orbs taking from him by souls of the damned in the river styx.....way to take out the competition kratos
