ok guys, this video is old, before frost strike get nerfed from 100% weap dmg to 60%.

crits aren't as big as they used to be, but still, killing machine procs well, and lets say you had frostfever + pestillence on multiple mobs with KM proc on, its easy to do big burst dmg..

As for speccs, I have a mix of Blood/Unholy - mostly blood, gives a lot of insane healing, Unholy for passive goods and fast traveling. I use 34/0/17 (lvl 60) And I have absolutely NO downtime at all, I always finish a mob with 100% hp.

If you spec right your frost crits can damage 200% more... in level 71 i did a 5k damage with howling blast.

If you spec frost and spec good ill bet you can take 7 mobs at once. i did that (lost health though...) if you spec blood you can take max 5 if you got pretty good gear.

Unholy: you can own pretty much but i still prefer frost

When I was blood at 75. I took on 13mobs at once. All normal mobs in Zul'Drak. Blood is best for survivability, but I also prefer Frost dps. At 80, I'm currently dishing out 3500+ dps. (How's that Unholy and Ret Pallys?!?!?)

I have a lvl 71 Death Knight, and I've tried blood, frost and unholy.. so far i like blood best, dno about any abilities i will get on higher lvl.. but i like it cause of the big damage focused on 1 target, so imo: if u like being a tank, try tank specced blood.. it roooocks!!!! and unholy is aoe/pvp specc if u didn't already know that:P reply to me with a reply of your opinion.. i would very much like to see what u others mean =)

I have a level 80 DK, i leveled up with blood and it was great because of the huge health regen, I still use blood for pve dps. But frost simply kicks ass in pvp. It's well good in arena since I can pretty much kill healers while they are silenced by Strangulate. I can do huge crits which will basicly 2-3 shot clothies easily. I recommend!

That's most likely Frost Strike with the crit and damage multipliers based on talent allocation. If affected by Frost Fever, the damage can multiply even higher. To attain damage like that, it's all about how you spec.

just to make some things clear, blood cant really be tank because it has no abilities like Unbreakable Armor and the undead talent from frost (dnno its name) + u have to use frost aura in raids, making blood a bad tanking specc. Besides that ppl think frost atks generate more threat aswell but thats up to u lol.

Blizz has stated that unlike most of the other classes capable of tanking, all 3 of the DK specs we be capable of tanking OR dps. Each spec has its pros and cons, Frost has the most defensive abilities for taking tamage, while Unholy is more for tanking Casters. I'm not 100% on blood but thru minor self heals i guess it could be used for taking with a bit of utility.
