Ginsberg was a NAMBLA member. No joke, look it up. I'm glad he's dead.

He joined NAMBLA to make a point that its not a sex club, but rather a forum for discussion and such things should be legal. I do not agree with anything that NAMBLA stands for, but when he made his point across he left the organization, so don't hold such things against him. He was an extremely loving and caring person, unconditionally for everyone. Watch the Life and Times of Allen Ginsberg, a great documentary about his life. And I'm sure he would be glad to be dead now too.

Once these dudes get famous, they can say a line of stupid shit and we will think it's nothing but pure wisdom. LOL. We mostly don't know what the heck we are talking about, and we normally don't notice it, but neither do these "icons".

He should have just interviewed Ginsberg on his own. It seems so incongruous to have the first-hand account of the poet being interrupted by other second-hand or third-hand opinions and commentary, esteemed as they may be.

Also, I don't think Charlie is that informed at all; he distinctly says Jack "Kerryac" at the beginning.

Also for all of you arguing about Ginsberg being an Anti-Semite/Nazi: He was Gay & Jewish. Nazi concentration camps consisted of Jews and Homosexuals (along with other minorities) ... Why then would he be a Nazi?!
