This is Audi Manhattan, they always let you fly out on West Side Highway at full speed. I took out 2 different S4's there, I bought one of them 2 days later. They don't let you drive these cars left and right. Either you are a previous client or they will meet you, usually twice, so they know you are serious since they need to bring in the test cars from their storage to the showroom. As for the driving, looks like typical Manhattan driving to me - think about you, you and you ;) no complaints!
I have never understood driving in America. Use no turn signals, overtake anywhere you want and then those idiotic speed limits on roads in the middle of nowhere. Thank god I am in about 30 minutes in germany.

Yes i have driven a BMW. The Audi is the king of the road in Germany. It's sort of funny that all German car owners bash the other. I'm kinda of convinced that the people making comments drive Chevettes. My S4's throttle responds immeadiately and the steering is amazing. 333hpand 0-60 in 4.9. What the hell is wrong with that. BMW's are a dime a dozen in Seattle, as well as Mercedes. I'd rather be one of the few with an S4 driving around. This car gets more looks and smiles than other cars.

I really hate how lose the steering is..it doesn't tighten up until higher speeds but i dont like the feel period. The steering on the bmw is much more precise.
i like the b7 s4 the best. The new ones look like wanna be bmw's. Audi was better when they had their own identity. Loved my b7 s4, bring the old body style but keep the headlights.

Second of all, i wanna see the actual race, but not the speculations. We all know 335i stock is capable of producing nearly (in some cases actually) 300whp.
Lastly, look up fastest posted 0-60 for 335i stock, I believe it's around 4.70 sec WITH a passenger....come on...s4 won't beat it, especially from a roll.

Actually you are WRONG again smartass. Based on the SAME magazine comparing both cars side by side, the 335i (manual) does the 1/4 in 13.6 @105mph. S4 (manual) does it in 13.4@106. The 335i does 50-70mph in 6.3 seconds and the S4 does it in 7.5 seconds (6th gear acceleration). As you can see, although the S4 does the 1/4 mile quicker by 0.2 sec, it's only 1mph faster at the end because it can launch at higher RPM since its all wheel drive, then the 335 catches up.

Trap speed is the mph u have when u cross the 1/4...assuming the 335i is catching up because its faster once it gets going, yet not catching the S4 on time, it would have higher ET (because it did the 1/4 in more time...right kiddo? good)...and it would have a higher mph (cuz it was going faster as it crossed the line..because it was catchin up...u cant reel it in u aint goin faster).
AWD is heavier from a roll...i know, but the S4 has enough hp to still be faster from a roll than the RWD 335i. Oh, and 6th gear 50-70mph acceleration literally means nothing...gearing for all vehicles is very different...for example, on a corvette zo6, you never shift to 6th on a race...with 5th you'll get to 219mph, yet top speed is 200-205mph...6th holds no power...im sure that if you put a m5's 6th gear in 50-70mph it will accelerate quicker than the zo6 in 6th. Moral? u r a fckin idiot!

And S4 and M3 are both sedans.
As a result, the R8 does not offer 4 seats so it's a poor mans car.

Too bad it doesn't over the same sportiness, steering response, or secure feeling that you get when you drive a BMW in a performance manner.
The Audi feels like a mercedes (if EVEN) and I didn't feel secure at all with it at high speeds or cornering.
BMW is pin point with every move and it's only a 335 not an M car which should be compared with an "S" car.
S4 (hell even RS4) compares to M which compares to C63.
Guess what? S4 finishes dead last while RS4 is just ahead of the S4 but still last.

what bmw did you end up getting? I actually own a 335i and i chose it over the s5 last year. I test drove the s4 a few months ago for the hell of it and i didn't like it either. I really hate how lose the steering is..it doesn't tighten up until higher speeds but i dont like the feel period. The steering on the bmw is much more precise.

i like the b7 s4 the best. The new ones look like wanna be bmw's. Audi was better when they had their own identity. Loved my b7 s4, bring the old body style but keep the headlights.

correct myself, they are looking more like infinity. Really jap looking car and all the stupid gadgets on the inside is very jap like. Keep it clean and simple. There's like 423542355432 buttons by the shifter. Audi used to be my fav. but now I like bmw and benz a lot better.

Pissed lol...it has slightly better numbers and it has 30 more hp. The numbers they got from this engine are not good at all. The problem is, its still a basically a 4,000 lb car. The 335 is will have better numbers when they come out. I guarantee it. In my opinion that car was strictly made to show audi that they can make a better engine any day of the week. They compared the S4 with the 335i and it beat it in every aspect. Including drag racing where it also had a much higher trapping speed by 3mph more.

no. the trapping speed is the pure connotation to know whether the vehicle is actually faster from a roll...if the S4 trapped lower but did a faster time, your statement would be valid, but the S4 traps much higher than teh 335i.

Lol. First of all, posted 335i stock 1/4 is faster than S4...Don't look at edmunds plz because those assholes are the worse.
Second of all, i wanna see the actual race, but not the speculations. We all know 335i stock is capable of producing nearly (in some cases actually) 300whp.
Lastly, look up fastest posted 0-60 for 335i stock, I believe it's around 4.70 sec WITH a passenger....come on...s4 won't beat it, especially from a roll.

Actually you are WRONG again smartass. Based on the SAME magazine comparing both cars side by side, the 335i (manual) does the 1/4 in 13.6 @105mph. S4 (manual) does it in 13.4@106. The 335i does 50-70mph in 6.3 seconds and the S4 does it in 7.5 seconds (6th gear acceleration). As you can see, although the S4 does the 1/4 mile quicker by 0.2 sec, it's only 1mph faster at the end because it can launch at higher RPM since its all wheel drive, then the 335 catches up.

Trap speed is the mph u have when u cross the 1/4...assuming the 335i is catching up because its faster once it gets going, yet not catching the S4 on time, it would have higher ET (because it did the 1/4 in more time...right kiddo? good)...and it would have a higher mph (cuz it was going faster as it crossed the line..because it was catchin up...u cant reel it in u aint goin faster).

The S4 will lose to the 335 on a roll for sure.
The best chance it has is from a dig.
The S4 has full time all wheel drive which will slow it down on a highway race.
For this reason, a 335xi is slower on a roll than a 335i.

AWD is heavier from a roll...i know, but the S4 has enough hp to still be faster from a roll than the RWD 335i. Oh, and 6th gear 50-70mph acceleration literally means nothing...gearing for all vehicles is very different...for example, on a corvette zo6, you never shift to 6th on a race...with 5th you'll get to 219mph, yet top speed is 200-205mph...6th holds no power...im sure that if you put a m5's 6th gear in 50-70mph it will accelerate quicker than the zo6 in 6th. Moral? u r a fckin idiot!
