Le premier film d'horreur que j'ai visionné quand j'étais jeune, cibole ça fait 10 ans que je cherchais le titre!...me too took me many years to find this movie,it's my first horror movie.
Personally, i think Stephen King should direct more. i honestly didnt find the movie that bad. Like he said, who can tell a Stephen King story better than Stephen King?
Stephen King looks kinda crazy in this trailer. It's scary but i love his books and the films based on them, but i don't think many films do the books/novellas justice
It's as if Stephen King said, 10-year-olds, this is for you! AC/DC, f-words, f-bombs, explosions, hot chic, hot waitress (till she severs her hand) sleazebags, explosions, AC/DC, psycho lawn mowers, gore, dead bodies, more gore, explosions, more AC/DC , cursing signs and mac machines. YEAAAAAAHHHHH!!! That'll give you something to talk about during lunchtime or at recess!!
not seen this for years, seen it as a kid and it instantly became a classic in my eyes just like tremors and american werewolf in london. i gotta get this on dvd!!
I don't give a shit what people think, I loved this movie as a kid, loved it enough to where I've remembered it for all these years, a badass movie with an awesome soundtrack.
@VersionInsane He was coked out of his mind the entire time he was directing the film, which probably goes a long way explaining why he looks the way he does.
When this movie first came out it scared the shit out of me. The premise that machines, especially the old school flat front semis, can come to life and chase your ass down was terrifying. Nobody makes movies like this anymore because they don't know how to do it right. ACDC soundtrack was the perfect choice. Hell, even Emilio Estevez was good in it!
At the end of the movie it says in the credits "Marvel Comics "Green Goblin" and his distinctive likeness is a trademark of the Marvel Comics group and is used with permission."
hahahahahahahahah oh sorry i bet your wondering what im laughing at....pttttt hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha shut the fuck up and let me replay the truck with green goblins face on it hehehehehe so childish...
This movie is BEGGING for a remake. If there was a remake made now that faithfully followed the original, it'd be awesome! Yes, I am aware of "Trucks", and that movie was stupid and sucked the big one. This film sort of did too, but it's some entertaining shit!
Remakes can be good and original and still have the ability to cater to fans of the original without being something that deviates from the original entirely. Just look at the remake of "The Thing" or the remake of "The Fly" from 1986. You just have to have the right people behind the scenes who know the original well enough to know what worked and what didn't. If this film were remade, I would favor a more plausible reason behind the machines becoming self-aware.
Just rented this at blockbuster, can't wait to watch it! When I was 3 YEARS OLD I watched this movie over and over and it didnt scare me, i probably had no idea what was happening though. Haven't seen it since, can't wait for tonight!
lol you tards are ripping on a film that was prduced in 84-85 and released in 86.....the truth is its no worse than terminator, or any of those mid to late 80's films.... wasent till 93 when jurassic park came out that movie budgets got enormouse enouff to afford a dazzling spectical of a ride. and steven was on coke during the filming, admitantly... but werent we all then?

Yeah, you really did it right alright., you fucken ugly ass coke freak. Wish you and your Branch Dividian like fans would all go to hell.
Steven King was done right by Tobe Hooper, Brian De Palma, and Stanley Kubrick. The worst of all the SK movie directors was the human barf bag from Maine himself. This crapola made Cats Eye look like Bride of Frankenstein!
Dude! this sooo reminds me of the Grindhouse Trailers. But the Voice over guy takes me back. The background music is creepy as hell. This movie has everything you want in a 80's cheesy horror flick. Watch it! I need to find this and rent it soon!
REMAKE - 2012 predicted end of the world, director - michael bay!
oh and a scene where the happy toys factory goes crazy and all the green goblin trucks start leaving the lot and killing people on their way to their destinations.
@only257 u have to consider it was jus a movie but still awesome the way it was filmed.however,it was in the script for the trucks to drive around the dixie boy for 90 mins and ended jus great at where all the trucks tore up the truck stop at the end. but still it was in the script to do that and it is jus a movie.
