@1nsane25 because blind guitarists often learn to play sitting down with the guitar lying on their lap, so that hand position is more comfortable. The most prominent player to adapt that technique was probably canadian bluesrocker Jeff Healey.

the concept video game music puts video game first and then the music, and this case its not possible that this virtuoso plays music influence by a stereotype topic, its more than that, he is a pro, sounds progressive, im sure he went in a long process of discipline so Video game music?.. I dont think is that simple now, considering he is blind, this is not my taste for composition, but if you judge music trough video games, than I am really in fact sure, your far from being a real musician.

He uses his pinky to mute every string he isn't playing, which may be why he plays upside down. Regardless, it sounds perfect so it's not like his technique is bad or anything. The position of his wrists is also in a much healthier pose, so this is actually probably a better technique then standard lol.

it's almost like he is playing the whole guitar upside down :) mainly upstrokes and the left hand is upside down too :) So bizarre but good!
