  • LEV!!

  • I am. ^_^

  • when dogs pant they blowout hot air to keep them selves cool

  • @jacobespo117 Nope, they blow air on their tongue and cool their tongue thus cooling their blood.

  • I love it

  • Dumb video

  • MAKE MORE LIKE THIS. DO IT NOW.

  • SWEAT

    ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

    Y U NO COLD?!

  • @xeadm Because if sweat was cold then it wouldn't evaporate, therefore not cooling you down because when sweat evaporates it take heat energy with it.

  • @NerdsPwnN00bs ooooh

  • lol this makes me interested in science... but school makes it seem borinngg

  • @baegarcia Science is 99% boring and 1% so awesome it makes up for the boring.

  • haha this is atually interesting ...

  • Good to know =D

  • I just want to make you sweat lyrics (Snoop Dogg - Sweat / David Guetta Remix)

  • I have extremely bad, intolerable hyperhidrosis and am having my sweat glands removed by my armpits. It's so bad I can no longer hold a pencil and write on paper without a puddle of sweat on the table and the paper soaked (and that's at room temperature.)

  • @crazzygirl100 i have a similar condition too, but not as extreme as yours. As i read your comment, i became self-aware of my own palms, which sweat quite a lot in usual circumstances, and now my keyboard is all wet. thanks.

  • I knew this but you make a good point! -Annie

  • Lev, I didn't know you were on NPR!

  • Oh my god!! Its been an hour! and Im still going through Lev's Videos! And here's another one!, and one more is buffering in another tab! But anyway! You rock Lev!

  • ¡uıɐƃɐ ʎɐqǝ ɯoɹɟ pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ʎnq ɹǝʌǝu

  • isn't this from TheIngredientX his channel? (or something like that) :S

  • @TheCakeAintNoLie AgentXPQ* ?

  • @forreforre

lol yea that's what I meant..

I have no idea how I came up with the name theingredientx

  • is the artist right handed?

  • @mojokiss

Yes, or he has a really good mirrored handwriting.

  • It's so weird watching a science video made by someone who makes somewhat depressing videos. Go Lev!

  • omg it's Lev!

  • @alleentam911 Wait. You are using a type of measurement to insult americans? Ive seen a lot of dumb reasons to insult Americans, but that takes the cake. You are a waste of life. Now go fuck your dog like you usually do, you un-educated peice of excrete.

  • TALES OF MERE EXISTENCE OMG!!!!!!!

  • Blagden did not record what the steak and eggs smelled like and there was probably a very good reason for this.

  • I LOVE YOUR DRAWING

  • wow fucking american faggots still using farenheit what a bunch of stupid fat douchebags

  • @allentam911 wow, man. just... wow. what the fuck? i'm not american but seriously? what the hell!

  • @allentam911 i hate our measuring system as much as the next guy but you just embarrassed the shit out of wherever the hell you're from with that terrible attempt at an insult .

  • lol, protein based lifeforms

  • go lev!

  • @kingsaw4lyfe SWEATING -smack-

  • Goodbye junky NPR. Go suck Soros off some more. LMFAO.

  • "i say old boy, i would recommend you remove your trousers in there."

"thank you kind sir! jolly good idea, it does seem a trifle stuffy dosent it?"

  • It would be so cool if you could choose to sweat or not

  • @InsideDating if human could use our brain by up to 100% :D We'd be able to :p

  • @InsideDating I can control my goosebumbs heart beat (I can stop it) and digestive system, Good idea I will start on that after my present trials are over.

  • I just don't understand how anybody could dislike this

  • is that true

  • we should watch these kind of things at school instead of boring teacher voices

  • @catkidx57 Thumbs-up to that.

  • @catkidx57 damn right

  • Thanks, I didn`t know that :D

  • The really interesting thing is why some people are sweating more than others when exposed to the same temperature or amount of exercise.

  • nice video :)

  • wow if they had had videos like this while I was in school, I might have actually learned something.

  • wats the good reason for Charles Blagden not recording how the steak and the eggs smell? He ate em? Maybe

Lev should upload 2 seperate vids one on this channel and another on AgentXPQ

  • Panting is better than sweating? I'm going to try panting to see if it works. Is panting less socially acceptable for humans than sweating your brains out?

  • @bizzee1 Go ahead! Just make sure you don't hyperventilate and pass out! lol

  • Comment removed

  • ugh i cant get the vidio to go past 0:26......i want to learn about sweat too :(

  • Panting is better than sweating because it cools the dog from the inside out. Also why a dog's fur coat isn't so uncomfortable as we imagine. A coat is unbearable for humans, because it impedes the sweating which cools our skin. Panting is like built-in air conditioning!

  • @cuvtixo So, we humans should start panting? (Sarcasm)

  • @yournameiswrong We're not equipped to cool by panting. (No sarcasm) People shouldn't have groomers shave their dogs in the summer, though. People do stupid things to their dogs because they think dogs are just like people. Stupid humans.

  • @cuvtixo I know right?!

  • @yournameiswrong yo mommmmmma starts panting when im around (Honesty)

  • did not record how it smelled HAHAHAHA

  • dog>english people

  • why this video is not in lev's account?

  • is what it is

  • so happy to know the biggest difference between me and Eggs is that I can sweat. Take that Incredible Edible Egg

  • wow

  • Ahhhh, Lev totally needs to do stuff for school. He's so entertaining. ^__^ ♥♥♥

  • lev yilmaz, the one who makes tales of mere existence

  • Isn't this the same guy who does "Tales of mere existence"?

  • He is.

  • wow cool

  • I HATE sweating, it makes me feel claustrophobic and very pissed off! :-(

  • if you put this in school, how many students will be engaged in the class? i'd say all of them!! policy makers, watch and learn!!

  • cool video lev i actually learned something usefull on youtube keep it up lev ill be watchin

  • wow, i learned something and was entertained

  • cool!

  • ..which is rather funny if u ask me bcuz I was sweating my ass off at work today, and now, looking back on it..I think 'if I didn't sweat, I would have been a lot hotter'... cool. 5 stars.

  • i would have locked them in there untill someone died

  • I would faint at 100

  • you do know that the showers you take are upwards of 120 degrees? and that summer's get up to 100s right? if you faint at 100 you must be pretty weak

  • That was great, and wonderfully informative!

  • I saw the thumbnail and thought "Someone's copying Lev!" Then I read the description and went, "Oh. Heh."

Well done Lev! That was very interesting. I knew that sweating kept us cool, but protect us from burning? Get out of here :P

  • nice job Lev

  • a very imformative cartoon by my favourite film maker/ author

  • it was really interesting :)

  • yeah! this is how I need to digest science. If only my chemistry teacher had figured this out.

  • I really enjoyed learning the history of a scientific discovery this way. Great job!

  • dogs also have a system of evaporative cooling,

it's the panting he mentioned in the video,

the air rushes in and reacts with the saliva the same way it would normally react with sweat,

when dogs feel hot all they do is breath faster and heavier than normal.

i hate sweat and given the choice i'd switch to a similar temperature regulation technique.

too bad it only works because of the insulting properties of the fur coat....

  • Lev + NPR = <3

  • very informative!

  • lev <3

  • XD wow,,, thats awesome...

Lev should do more science videos, so that way we wont have to read 200 year old documents ourselves.

  • i love lev! he is my hero

  • yay! sweating!

  • YAY for sweating!!!!!

  • entertaining and informative. great job. more power lev!

I personally think you should make more science based videos, for I love science and your outstanding ability to make life seem so damned funny & morose all at once !
