  • Whoa!! This is fantastic. I wouldn't have guessed that it would translate to 1 guitar/1 voice so well. Thank you for posting!!!!

  • Totally love this!

  • i think i like this version better :)

  • amazing! love stp

  • awsome song ... great lyrics .. the 90s were awsome

  • the pilots are awesome...

i love that song so much..i remember when it came out i bought the album only to get this song hahaha...

i guess i have to cover that song ;-)

  • Totally sick

  • Scott Weiland is God. STP ftw

  • agree! thx!

  • 12-string, like a MoFo! Atta' boy, Dean-0!

  • Looks like a 6 string from here.

  • He is playing a 6-string guitar.

  • It is a 6-string.

  • you listen to his voice then and it's still clean and doesn't sound like he's continually scraping his vocal chords on sandpaper, but you can hear it starting to really go due to abuse. Now.... Good lord, Weiland's voice is trashed these days.

Too many drugs, too much crap, too little care paid to longevity. It's sad, because in the early 90's he had one of the best voices going.

  • Such a badass song, this is so sick

  • Almost any instrument is hard to play well. The thing with bass is, it won't be so obvious if you suck at it. Actually, few bands have good bass players (STP was/is one of them, has any of you seen Duff trying desperately to play a STP song?)

  • Ok.. so a question for musicians out there.. Im a very beginner at playing guitar.. and to be honest. im not very good.. would i have better luck learning bass??? just curious how much difference there is..

  • at the beggining you'll never start playing like a rocknroll god.. you know.

Just practice in what you want to play.

Im a guitarist, and i know how to play bass.. but i can tell you that i dont like too much bass... its just not for me.

So, just relax, and practice. Smoke a cigar and just play... with the instrument you like, obviously.

  • Actually, bass is a tad less complex. But, your fingers would still have to be very skilled.

  • i play both and i can tell u this. there is no difference in the dificulty, they are both hard. the key is practice everyday at least half hour man just half hour well concentrated. try to make the instrument sound cool use your ear dude. just try to make it sound well. sorry for my english.

  • They're both hard in their own ways. Learn whichever one you like the most.

  • every instrument is a world and has it's own tricks, just practice all the time you can! it'll worth it, when I started if felt the same way, and my dad told me: when george harrison started playing he sucked, he practiced until his fingers literrally bleed.. that kept me going, so hope it'll do for you too, good luck from buenos aires :)

  • Don't ever think bass is easy because it has less strings or is less popular. I say, start with an acoustic. Get comfortable with the techniques, fiddle with the electric and then try the bass. Good luck.

  • WAAF 107.3 thats all i listen to

  • I just realized if you play bass, and are learning/learned this song, then you can play along with this. :D

  • Weiland still has his voice

STP is back and better than ever.

So when will there be a new CD?

  • hopfully mid 2009!!!

  • I remember this!!!

  • awsome 1 of my fav songs from my fav band

  • AMAZING band

  • thanks for sharing this video it's totally amazing

  • AWESOME!!!

  • This is absolutely a Boston rock station. I listen to it every day.

  • i love stone temple pilots..and you?

  • I got this session on DVD, I think it was from a Boston morning radio show, right?

  • scott weiland is one idoll.

  • Can't believe they are not coming to Montreal!
