  • Joan of ark was burned alive for a 'hate crime'......

  • why did you put up a video of bigots?

what does that have to do with the actual law?

  • Hate crime laws are not even a bad joke since not all races and creeds are afforded the protection of said laws ANYWHERE!

  • Hate Crime laws: Because killing a person because he looked at you wrong is not nearly as bad as killing a person because he's a homosexual.

  • @PumpingSmashkins great point . now insert the word christian in the place of homosexual. that is why im against hate crime laws. religious people such as christians have enjoyed special protections for years and now is the time for it to stop. do away with hate crime laws all together and christians will no longer have that special protection.

  • @retrospect1983 Obviously. Replace it with Muslim or communist or anarchist or whatever else you please. It still illustrates the idiocy of "hate crimes" legislation.

  • @PumpingSmashkins what i find most hypocritical are the churches and preachers rallying against these additional laws when they are guilty of the same. it will be interesting to see thes christians views on these hate crime laws as they get closer to being only 50 % of the population, or less (if trend continues) , vulneralble to the masses that might have a problem with christians's actions, and decide to demonize them again. much like christians have done to many groups themselves.

  • @retrospect1983 Religion is a joke. What's hypocritical to me is that there is only one group that "hate crimes" and "hate speech" are not just accepted but encouraged and laughed at. Namely, "crackers" or "rednecks." If there's a white-on-black crime (exceedingly rare, statistically) it's automatically a hate crime, and the races of victim and criminal are THE story. If it's the other way around, it's NEVER a hate crime, and you can't even mention the races. Granted, the latter is routine...

  • So if I am not religious but get attacked then I dont get additional protection. What about equal protection under the law? If I am not in a minority or lead an 'alternative' lifestyle then i would get less protection? And I mean less because other people would get more.

  • I hate the lisping faggot narrating this video. I wonder if I'm a criminal now? Probably.

  • @tedlgj its okay. your just jealous because were more loving, and fabulous. and your just a boring fat fuck.

  • @gothicwitchcraft101 Not really fat, maybe boring, but just a little. now do the world a favor and disappear, scumbag. Oh by the way, do you have aids yet or just hiv?

  • @tedlgj umm there the same thing? and no i dont, and wont ever have an hiv or std. and if you were educated about hiv/std's the you would know that hetorosexual transmission of the diseases are the fastest growing spead of hiv and std's??? as in straights are more likely to get it then gays. fucking idiot.

  • @gothicwitchcraft101 you are out of your fucked up mind, I don't know where you get any of that shit but sooner or later you're going to have to leave fantasy island. last question and I don't need or want a response because its strictly rhetorical. If homosexuals are so fucking lovable and so wonderful, why do all of you need the US government to pass special laws over and above established laws to protect you from harm? now, fuck off.

  • @tedlgj look it up. you know, google. and we dont want rights we deserve rights. and i pay my taxes just like everyone else. i do my part. and im still treated like a second class citizon. and for what? having a boyfriend? get real.

  • @tedlgj

No, it just means that you are a bigot. However, if you took a gun and shot him because you hated him because you thought he was a "lisping faggot" and clearly announced that, that was why you did it, and the local authorities did not prosecute you, as they were in full agreement with you, then, you could be charged with a hate crime by the federal government, as well you should be.

  • @RCSVirginia you are so gay.

  • Multiple attacks, maybe hate related, maybe because they had ipods, but only one constitutes a hate crime because he said "white boy." So the speech is being equivocated to "hate" speech. This is really stupid. Yet they keep insisting it's not thought or speech crimes. And I'm a gay atheist and I think it's unconstitutional and stupid. watch?v=1q8MlI0LnIw

  • we are all savage whether you are white, black, asian, gay, straight, bi, male, female, what ever we all all savage and ignorant. But I hope one gray, eerie day a big light for all most see that tells us the truth, not bias truth but the complete truth so all this fighting and stuff can end forever, and as it proceeds to eva'nesense we all can smile and be relieve and deal with the truth for all our sakes.

  • Sodom and gommorah were not destroyed for not believing god, they were destroyed for worshipping "false gods", temple prostitution and child sacrifice. Just saying.

  • Christianity breeds hatred. Plain and simple.

  • THIS IS A FLAT-OUT LIE!!! Hate crime legislation is draconian and wrong. They elevate the social status of gays and minorities etc. above that of whites. They also provide special protection to pedophiles and perverts. For example, if a guy flashes his genitals to a lady and she hits him with her purse who gets in trouble? She does. Why? Because she assaulted a man who's disease is now considered a protected sexual identity, exhibitionism! I'm not kidding! This was even brought up in Congress!

  • @bassman5123 "For example, if a guy flashes his genitals to a lady and she hits him with her purse who gets in trouble? She does. Why? Because she assaulted a man who's disease is now considered a protected sexual identity"

Thats not true, there is no such law and was never discussed in the Congress.

If you still want to prove that lie, show me an article or the law itself (it would be on the Congressional Record, on gpoaccess.gov/crecord/ )

  • @bassman5123 Hate crime puts the status of gays above of whites?

So there is no white gays?

  • @bassman5123 There is no law of "special protections to pedophiles"

There is only jail for them.

And why did you talked about pedophily when the issue is homossexualism?

  • If the bill would not apply to one' s thoughts then why did you show Rev. Falwell and Rev. Robertson's comments at the beginning? That's weird. Would this bill charge them with anything?

  • this is stupid... religious freedom has nothing to do with hate crimes! What difference does it make why a crime is committed! This is ridiculous! Is it worse that a person kills someone because they hated them? This makes no sense. Why does it make a difference? WTF?!?

  • this has nothing to do with human rights... this is a scam...

You can't even give a gay person a dirty look for being an asshole these days without being accused of a hate crime... and they seem to think that being an asshole is the last problem they have.

  • Conflict between civil liberties--the ability to enjoy personal freedoms; The First Amendment and civil rights--the ability to be protected from discrimination; The Fourteenth Amendment. Major arguments about constitutionality of hate crime laws. Laws are per-missibly vague and they violate the fourteenth amendment's Equal Protection Clause, the most heated arguments have focused on the first amendment. Major problems: VAGUENESS, EQUAL PROTECTION, and FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.

  • It all sound great but hate crime laws will be used almost exclusively by Jews, to make them even more of an elite and to stop any criticism of Israel.

  • Look at what is going on in Canada - it is a "hate crime" to merely speak out against homosexuality, even if you merely point out the facts right out of a medical library that the rectum is part of the digestive system and was not designed for penetration. The move is on in the U.S. to follow Canada ... this is pure censorship and it violates civil rights, which include individual rights such as the freedoms of thought and conscience, speech and expression, religion, the press. HC=censorship.

  • @jgehb Don't get a colonoscopy than, skank. I'm against the law too, but we weren't really "designed" to fly and drive either, so it's kind of beside the point. Get the fuck over yourself. No one asked you. Anal is a big straight thing anyway. You're not speaking to straights, are you? Moreover, you'll be happy to know that a lot of gays blow each other exclusively. Or is that forbidden too, Jesus?

  • Mrbafoonz...you are a biggot and a hater. enjoy hell ^_^

  • @evanwishcoil - nice of you to engage in hate too.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrBafoonz And your reason??

  • What a lie these laws only protect non Christians and it's ultimate goal is to further erode Christianity. Killing someone was already illegal and race gender and religion did not matter. But Liberals simply must keep people believing they are perpetual victims. And Hate crimes laws are the way they do it.

  • The law spoken of the video, is correct: however, this only applies on the Federal level, and may not necessarily apply entirely in local civilian courts... but this means that a hate crime based on race, religion, sex (meaning "gender" in this case), color or national origin has the culpibility to take the matter to a higher Federal Court if the case merits it.

  • How about, just enforcing the law? Whether one agrees with Pat Robertson/ Falwell on what the say, or don't agree...it is still their right to express themselves. Now this bill is trying to crush the freedom of speech.

  • In the U.S., Many states have either no, minimal, or vague Hate Crime laws... (For example, Indiana has no hate crimes law(s) pertaining to sexual orientation)... so its not just as easy as enforcing the law... in those states where hate crimes do exist, perchance enforcing the law could be achieved. As of right now (Feb. 2010) there is no Federal level Hate Crime legislation pertaining to all fifty states.

  • fucking BULLSHIT .....drink up your nice KOOL-AID folks !!!

  • What a load of BS propaganda. It is fitting that this crap plays music from the fictional movie Schindler's List. The fact is this hate crimes trash actually discriminates against white males. There are far more black on whit ecrimes than vice versa. Yet, blacks cannot be prosecuted for a hate crime against whites. Dont believe me? Check into it. This is just another way the Jews (through their ADL) have made themselves protected against scrutiny for all the theft Jews commit.

  • isint it my human right to hate?

  • So is he saying that bias-based violent crimes are not currently being prosecuted, or that perpetrators aren't recieving severe enough sentences?

How does the govt. know a violent crime is bias-based?

And why should it make a difference if someone is murdrered for their money or their race? One is worse than the other?

    This is all very confusing.

  • No. It isn't confusing. It's a law that needs to go away. This could be used way to easily for political reasons.

I'm not going to back the Christian cry of martyrdom though.

  • putting people in groups IS the problem. that's the cause of racism and hatred toward certain groups. seeing each person as a unique individual (not grouping people like animals) is a beginning of a real solution, NOT the Govt intensifying the problem by putting individuals into groups.

  • I think I would rather be a drwarf insread of a little person, but if they want to be called a little person, so be it.

  • There is only so much people can do.

I work 45 hours a week. I participate in the gay community center, helping senior citizens and political action groups.

I write my representitives and vote.

I donate canned foods and funds to charities, and try to live a good life.

I won't let what I can't control rule my life. Life is short do what you can, then have a glass of wine with someone and listen to some music, or what ever.

  • About the kid on CNN.

I have to admit, I am motivated to debate with some of the people over gay issues. CNN exploited the item because it was tied to a red button issue like gay marriage.

  • We all have our areas that we have more of our hearts tie to than other issues. I understand this. When I think about Gay issues (btw I get confused with the word Gay because it has always ment happy and no one cannot say I feel Gay or it was a real Gay day. But For me, I really don't care, if someones ways aren't harming me then how is it my business. It's really not. I do wish the Gay word was replaced but it's okay

  • After I read your post I googled the history of the word gay. It has a sexual connection dating back to 1600's(so says wikipedia)

The word gay does not bother me, although I wish we had a stronger sounding word.

I always prefer to say black instead of african American. I know an African American who is white from South Africa.

Little people prefer little people, I thought dwarf sounded better, but to each their own.

I'm glad faggot now means someone who drives a loud motorcycle

  • @Blairtim69 I have to agree here. I prefer the word Black over the other. I am not a homosexual but I dislike the word Gay. Honestly I think it sounds like one of the most stupidest words ways to describe a persons preference. I like the word better when it ment happy or nice. I like the word Dwarf better also. I took faggot to mean someone is a jerk. next meaning is they are Gay/homosexual. Then there is Lesbian and that is refering to women only. So are Lesbian women also Gay and homosexuals?

  • A homosexual is a person who is born with attractions to the same sex.

Larry Craig and Roy Cohen are/were homosexual, but they never accepted who thay are/were.

gays and lesbians accept who they are and accept the lable

Roy Cohen was homosexual, but never a gay

I got the faggot line from South Park. They tried to change it's meaning to someone who rides a loud motor cycle or is just annoying.

I don't know who chooses the lables, I would rather have a stronger word than gay

  • @Blairtim69 I didn't know this. But I do knwo that if someone tells me that they are a homosexual, I don't think I should right away consider them to be uncomfortable with themselves and or not accepting this. A woman once told me, you know, I am a homosexual. I really already knew that because she dressed in a way that identified herself as such. Fagoot, no, I know that is used as a slur for homosexuals, gays, lesbians oh my! but I also know that even years ago it was used to describe a jerk

  • The context I used was for homosexual and gay was clinical. other people use other lables.

    Some people use queer.

  • I forgot about the queer word. Yeah, I think even though that is also a word used to describe something odd it's also a slur too. It's too bad there can not B some sort of law, arrangement, soemthing? that supports the legal aspects as in receiving benifits from being with a partner without changing something larger. Because if interpetation a man can B with two men and a dog and leave all the money to the dog n the other two partners receive benfits n guardianship after the said 1st man dies.

  • Most of us would accept everything but the word marriage.

I would prefer marriage, everything but the word would be accepted.

Rhode Island Gov. just vetoed the right to funneral arrangements.

Some day we'll have the rights, and 20 years after that everyone will think the arguments were stupid, and we'll be on to the next crisis

  • @Blairtim69 your probably right! lol..

Hey, what if he veto the funeral arrangements just so someone has to give him money because they are interested in swaying his vote. And this is the cycle of the way it is for darn near everything? I have ot tell you. In your first two sentences I was still asking myself what does he mean? Then I realized you said it twice but I still don't get what you mean. You like the word marriage or you don't? You want it? I think there should be divorce insurance.

  • legal marriage comes with 1,100 different benifits, and responsibilities. If to obtain them we have leave off the word marriage, then it would be acceptable to most in the gay community.

For some reason people seem more willing to allow us all the rights as long as we don't use the word marriage.

    Why, I do not know.

I don't know the motivation behind the governor, I suspect it's making his base supporters happy.

  • @Blairtim69 no, there R definetly other reasons. Also, you are aware that many people, Billions! when refering to their loved one N or family members, are not at all speaking of relations by blood or marriage. These extended family members, as they are refered to are Not allowed any of many of the same thinsg U R speaking of. Where is the law 4 them in these very same instances? Will they now want 2 change the laws to fit them? Is a friend allowed 2 leave all 2 their best friend when they die?

  • I have other concerns as well, but the most significant worrys for me are;

How large private industries control so much of the government, it makes it impossible for our reps to do their jobs right.

Also right wing groups influencing people with lies.

  • I am more alarmed by large private corporations weilding too much power in DC.

right wing groups lying about the healthcare system

  • Blair, when I have heard ppl talk about how great the 50s were they were refering to things totaly different from what you thought all this time they ment. One of the things was there was less crime. Another was the soda pops? and movies were inexspensive. Reghular ppl coudl go see a ball game but now it's extremly costly. The music was completly different, They said there were less cursing in songs. Or they just like the music better in genral. What did you think they were talking about?

  • Large Private Corps, Right Wing talking abtou health care. That's It! That is the extent of your main concerns for this country? I hate to be an obvious smart ass here but Blairtim... What ever your doctor is giving you can I get me a percription too?

  • I don't understand what you are driving at by going back to viking raids 1,000 years ago.

What do they have to do with modern laws under the united states constitution.

  • Blairtim why cannot you get that analogy. Holden of the ADL refers to Historically. You see the holes, don't you see the ways this can backfire on everyone and anyone. Seems to me that these crimes, hate crimes, all crimes will become more and more tied up in the court system longer than ever before. The courts will make a bundle and the police and the jails and on and on and it don't matter what your gender, race, religion will be. PPL and cases will be in the system for more YEARS

  • If you are assualted and the person calls you dirty faggot and so on, then yes it is a hate crime.

It has been brought up before. Recently in NY.

  • I just looked up the story about the family assualted in Akron Ohio.

It is still under investigation, and may be considered a hate crime.

  • Blair... It may be considered. Give me a break, it is what it is. I belevie one of the things they shouteed was This land belongs to the black man. Oh wait, if it's their word against their word then it's not a hate crime even though it is what it is?

  • Blair... do YOU think the incident in Akron is a hate crime. Take the current individuals out and the family and replace them with others of diff identifying lables. Is it a hate crime then? Now go switch everyone again. Is it a hate crime then? Now place yourself and your family on both side of the fence... what about now? What kidn of crime is it now Blair?

  • It does not matter what race the family was. If the youths attacking were motivated by race, then it is a hate crime.

There are black people who are prosecuted for hate crimes.

I am not as alarmed as you are, because I don't think there is anything to be alarmed about. While race hate groups are on the rise on both sides, their numbers are still far below what they were in the mid 1900's.

Lots of people say how greta the 50's were, but that was when 30% of the population was oppressed.

  • I guess my concerns woudl be more immediate like ppl homeless and hungry. Jobless. and a lot more

btw.. your not really answering my questions are you. Youve become some what patronizing.

  • i thought I was answering questions. The 50's thing was thrown out there because so many people say how wonderful the 50's were, and not realize how oppressed a large part of the population was

  • There have been many cases where a minority has attacked a white, and was known to have used an epithet indicating a racial motive - and yet was never charged with a hate crime.

Bottom line is - until there is EQUAL ENFORCEMENT of the law, hate crime laws will ALWAYS be a horrible idea that should never be implemented.

  • Hate crime laws are, by their very nature, unjust. Justice is supposed to be impartial. You commit murder, you get put to death. That is the way it is supposed to be. It doesn't matter what your motivation for committing the murder is.

  • @ronarprfct

I agree, but if race, religion, and gender hate crime laws are on the books, then gays should be added.

We have had 8 muders and dozens of reported assaults so far in 2009.

Perhaps stonger penalties and investigations will cut down this number

  • So your thinking is that, since we have unjust laws regarding race, religion, and gender, we should have at least one more unjust law regarding sexual orientation? 4 wrongs don't make a right.

  • @ronarprfct

I don't see how they are unjust

There are different degrees of murder.

The punishment reflects the motive and viciousness of the attack.

The hate crime lable is another degree.

In the past (as recent as 1 month) assualts and murders against gays have resulted in very lenient punishment. An assualt resulting in death received 6 months jail and a $50.00 fine.

Hopefully the hate crime degree will deter people from this type of attack

  • They are unjust in that the punishment for murder should be the same regardless of the motive for the murder. The punishment should be DEATH. You kill a stranger for fun: DEATH. You kill a homosexual because you hate homosexuals: DEATH. The judge shouldn't be allowed to show leniency. His job-the state's job-must be justice. Only the people wronged-individual humans-can rightfully decide if mercy should be shown.

  • Since death has rendered the human wronged incapable of expressing a desire to show mercy to the one who wronged them(the murderer), justice must be executed by them being killed. This should apply to all crimes being punished by the state, though first you would have to make the standard sentences for many crimes more lenient as they are too harsh to be true justice. Justice is an eye for an eye, and many sentences are taking a whole head for an eye.

  • I don't think we would ever agree on the degrees of murder. I think there should be diffrent punishments. Some one drunk in a bar who gets into a fight with another drunk and kills him by accident, is diffrent than someone who stalks a lady, hides in her house then rapes and tortures for hours before killing.

  • There are no degrees of murder. If you murder someone for being a homosexual, they are just as dead as if you had murdered them for taking your parking space. "Someone drunk...". That is not murder, despite what the law says. Two people agree to a fight and one dies, it isn't murder, it is dueling, which should never have been made illegal to begin with.

  • @ronarprfct . I can see credibility in your comment if you concede the word Christian can be inserted to replace the word homosexual.

  • Yeah, if you kill a Christian because he is a Christian, you should be put to death.

  • @ronarprfct. would you go furher and support the repeal of the laws that give special protections to thoes who choose a religion?

  • Which laws in particular are you talking about? If you mean tax laws, I have some peculiar beliefs about the way taxing is done in this country anyway, and am not a fan of the IRS. I do believe in the right of people to practice their religion. I don't believe that money given in church should be taxed, though obviously the preacher's salary should be taxed IF you are taxing income, which I don't necessarily agree with.

  • the 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act. increases the penalties for hate crimes. the list of classes include religion. why should person get a stiffer sentence for violently killing a person because the victom is, ...a christian as opposed to the same crime because that victom is ... a vet.?

  • Exactly. He should get the same sentence for killing a Christian as for killing a vet, homosexual, anyone-assuming the killing was unjustified. If it is an agreed upon duel between adults or is self-defense, I don't believe there should be any punishment.

  • @ronarprfct just for clarification, does "Exactly" mean........ yes, you would support the repeal of the law that includes...giving religious choice special protections/ rights? (repeal the 1994 Violent Crimes Control and Law emforcement Act)

  • @xzrhsb Yes, if that is all it does-punishing people more harshly for killing someone for their religion. I would support repeal of any law that gives harsher sentences based on motive.

  • @ronarprfct i'm glad you feel that way. I hope you will share your feelings with all those who enjoy their special status while advocating against the expansion of special status. I believe we must correct old unfair laws (repeal) before we can expect to be taken legitametally/seriouisly about not expanding those unfair laws. Please consider sharing this truth to those of color and churches, since they appear to be the most hypocritical on this issue.

  • we don't have unust laws. Back in history they were unjust but not today. Islm is protected under this new law, if you are white and you harm an islamic person then you ar ein more trouble than if he harmed you. Sometimes ppl get into fight but after all is said an done I can see some lawyer taking say a Latino to the side and saying, don't you think that woman hit you because you were Latino? yes, we think she did.

  • id say what was deemed as morals will now be in breach of the hate crimes laws, don't pass this law folks I think your being all lead up the garden path on this one , good luck America

  • This is fucking bullshit

  • Has this passed yet? Go watch other videos because this isn;t giving all the info but it's giving some. I'm still trying to get it straight

  • lying about what.

The FBI keeps very detailed and broken down stats. Professorsexington found his info on white surpremacy sites.

The hate crime law was signed a few weeks ago during a ceremony.

It's not just some body beating some body up. They have to use slurs like "you filthy white christian, and the motive to be be proven racial or religious, before it is designated as a hate crime.

There are not many prosecutions under hate crime laws. They have to be obviously motivated.

  • Blair Eric Holden said Historically, So that would in his mind leave out White Chrsitians. So you could beat the living daylights out of them, cut off their heads, and drag their bodies around town and it's not going to considered a hate crime.. No matter who you are... CORRECT?

  • If you are using racial or religious slurs during the crime, then hate crime can be added to the list of offenses

  • Okay so if I am say not gay but when someone harms me I say they yelled out Gay! then I can get them in more trouble because they said I was gay, thought I was gay or I said I heard them say I was gay. .. The hate crimes according to Eric Holder are based on Historical things so lets see here.. If back in the day say ah, when the Vikings landed, hmm, did they do harm to anyone who was considered Anything but a Viking. Work with me here and lets stroll down this crazy street

  • The investigation is ongoing.

The police will need to catch the perps, and question them.

    The families storys must agree

    witnesses will be interviewed

history of the perps will be examined.

There are black folks who get charged with hate crimes as well. It's not a one way street.

  • Blair... I am dumbfounded by some of your comments... I sound alarmed and you sound like lets pick some roses

  • you wrote that there are not many procecutions under the hate crime laws. You must be talking about the White Family in Akron Ohio on the fourth of july who were attacked by an angry black mob screaming America Is Our Land and on and on and more... The father of that family ended up in the hospital. Oh wait, I just realized that I am am making sense... crazy me

  • The hate crime laws are based on race, religion, gender, and now sexual identity.

There are cases of hate crimes being prosecuted against blacks. Currently 2 black teenagers are being prosecuted for hate crime in Portland.

I don't know the details of the issue in Ohio, but if racial slurs or religious slurs were used in the attack, then the prosecutor should have attached hate crime to the charges

  • Blair.... I just don't hear you getting the complete bias of this law and how it can be twisted to suit ones agenda. I think I will go back in history and look for a lable that I may want to use to identify myself and start placing that on every form of ID and then tap into a few more lables that could suit me historically and today

  • There is no bias.

Race = white or black or what ever

religion = christian, jewish, or what ever

    gender = male or female

sexual identity = gay or straight

If a couple gay guys assualted you yelling filthy breeder, or other slurs, that would be a hate crime

Proving hate crime is hard to do and is not that common

  • its such bullshit, wtf is wrong with white people we stand by and tolerate this, i do not condone ANY crime, but this hate crime law is only enforced against whites, which is a disgustingly double standard, 90% of inter-racial crime victims are white, are they victims of hate crimes? i never hear about it, 36,000 white women raped by blacks in USA alone every year, between 0-10 black women raped by whites, it goes on and on, where is our protection? btw go ahead and google those stats.

  • @ProfessorSexington

If the crimes were commited because of race, then it would be a hate crime.

Hate crimes are hard to prove. There are only a few prosecuted each year.

Hate crimes are usually extra cruel

I don't know where you got your stats, but the FBI has much lower numbers

69% of all crime is white commited

only 25,000 rapes total for the whole year all races and genders

  • Blair your lying

  • please, dont be such a drama queen. no matter what the law says , blacks will not be arrested for attacking whites because they are white, that is one thing this law will not cover. blacks attack whites constantly, every fucking day. when was the last time you heard about a bblack being lynched?? 1969?? this is 2009 and whites are an open target, just watch the news tonight.

  • LOL advocates of equality?? hardly.

obamas proposed hate crime law targets whites . you know it , and so do i. i dont care if you suck another dudes dick, who cares, but when you think your deviant behavior affords you special rights, then i disagree. you can do what you want if equality is all you want. but these laws are one sided. and so are most who call themselves advocates of equality.

  • you cant imagine??. look at his record of how he votes on issues, and who he has appointed as of now, then you will completely understand .

  • LOL dont hold your breath. the law will protect everyone but heterosexual white males. because straight white males do not matter to obama or any other liberal.

  • the law may be written to say that, but i have yet to see a violent attack on a white comitted by blacks called a hate crime. and there are plenty of violent attacks on whites just because they are white.

  • its funny how the people pushing for this do not consider it to be a hate crime when blacks violently attack whites almost everyday soley because they are white.

  • Thats not true, youre assuming that Pro-LGBT people and people who are LGBT are ok with violence based on racism, theyre not. We want the same protection as everyone else and we want everyone to be protected from hate based violence.

  • You told the truth with that statement

  • in the defence of robertson and fallwell, the muslims do hate americans partially because of the 'anything goes ' attitude of america,

  • So let me get this straight (no pun intended):

It is now "illegal-er" to beat a gay person to death?

What are you liberals going to do when a group of muslims beat a gay person to death?

  • VOTE no to the hate crime bill. NO one committs a crime on an individual if they love the person. We have laws in place they need to follow them. Queers have too many rights and they and their activism are causing the public to hate them.

  • "Queers have too many rights" - this is the type of ignorance that fuels hate crimes.

Congress already voted for it, dumbass. This law will protect the civil rights of even morons like yourself.

  • Really, Blazak? I think you'll find that, in the end, the only folks who get REAL protection from this legislation, will be tyrannical government.

Nothing in this bill addresses the treatment of Christians by perverts and deviants. That's not a lie, and it will require all us Americans to fight against it.

You want protections to do the butt-dart boogie? Then you might consider helping us protect the country that gave you TRUE freedom, by discarding this false promise.

  • cecilbdml - I hate to burst your ignorant bubble, but the cilvil rights laws protect religion as well. This bill just ADDS sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, and disability to race, national origin, and RELIGION. So idiots like you are sill protected.

  • homosexuality is a hate crime. satan is the one behind it and when gays promote this sinful choice , they are spreading hate. JESUS HATES THIS DESTRUCTIVE SIN. HE IS THE ONE WHO IS THE JUDGE.

  • Then, you are trying to take Jesus' place by passing judgements.

Jesus would not be too pleased.

  • Jesus was a liberal and would be proud of the loving people who have campaigned for the compassion and empathy this law is based on.

Regardless, we live in a democracy, not a theocracy, so your extremist religion views do not matter.

  • Jesus was not a liberal; He is THE SON OF GOD. And he threw the money-changers out of the temple, as well as advocating the physical destruction of any who would BRING HARM TO ONE HAIR ON A CHILD'S HEAD, or even MISLEAD THEM INTO EVIL. He never advocated prostitution or homsexuality or abortion.

Nothing extremist about that unless you're a POS that deserves one of those punishments and want to avoid your just desserts.

  • "It is easier for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the gates of heaven." - Sounds pretty liberal to me!

Didn't Jesus hang out with prostitutes? Mary Madgeline? And Jesus never said anything for or against abortion. As far as homosexuality goes, he was a unmarried man in sandals who was all about LOVE. Sorry, Jesus = Liberal!

  • You are retarded dude please go back to school....

  • @all4him101 Maybe Jesus does hate us, but that's beside the point. We're trying to argue about how unconstitutional and unfair a law is. Get with the program, crazy.

  • i wonder if this guy understands that he is going to hell when he dies for being anti christ. gay is against GOD .

  • Why is there Jesse Dirkhising or Jeffrey CUrley Act? Why is there no "hate crime" bill named after Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom?

  • law protects pedophiles, perverts, yet democrats blocked adding US service men dispite 2 recent attacks.Democrats get hate crime stats from Southern poverty center .The southern poverty center list as a hate crime(you can look it up yourself)'MEN PASSING OUT NAMES OF SEX OFFENDERS ON COURT HOUSE STEPS"-hate crimes are unconstitutional period. One could argue that crimes for no reason that kill or hurt people are even worse-

  • I'm confused? My brother was MURDERED by caregivers in an institution/ is his death by diabolical state workers - any less HATEFUL than for example a homosexual person being killed? If such a person of this sexual orientation is killed during a robbery is it still HATE? Studies from various Think Tanks/ San Francisco groups have studied the stats for decades. 3.3% of pop is gay - WHY all this special attention? NOBODY care about my brother. NOBODY (autistic - not gay).

  • Since when is "abortionist" a lifestyle choice?

  • Obama's goal is clear, why are you so exasperated? He doesn't want you to be able to speak the truth. Certain minorities will be afforded special protection (child-abusing congress degenerates). Some minorities will establish special holidays when the numbers in certain fairy tales will be reviewed to raise the income therefrom. Look who surrounds Obama. The degenerate bastards already have nothing to fear. Now it''s about stopping you from speaking your mind. They're consolidating their power.

  • This video is just more emotionally driven rhetoric and propaganda that evades the core issue entirely. The very concept of equality under the law has a long and bloody history. It is NOT the invention of the modern day liberal. A crime is the same whether committed by,or the victim is, a prince or a pauper. Yet the liberal wants to turn that concept on it's head. It is impossible to enforce hate crime laws without criminalizing THOUGHT. On to the Orwellian future! Led by the left.

  • hes lying no how i can tell his lips are moving

  • How does sucking cock make one part of a special group that gets elevated status in the justice system?

  • Damn, I guess I'll remember not to kill anymore blacks and gays.

Up until hate crime laws I thought my hobby was perfectly legal.

  • Occupational religionists (pulpiteers) object to Federal Hate Crimes legislation for one reason & one reason only: vested pecuniary interest.

Anti-gay tirades are never meant to call the members of a particular congregation to repentance for their own sins- they are made in order to stir base, irrational passions and increase the weekly collection plate take.

Fleecing the sheeple and hiding behind tax exempt status: that's their "gospel".

  • You're an idiot. A crime is a crime. I am not religious at all, and I oppose hate crime legislation. A murdered gay is no better than a murdered straight person.

  • assault is assault

every fucking crime is a hate crime.

  • The person who marked your comment negative is an idiot. If we need special protection for homosexuals, then shouldn't we extend the penalty for EVERY victim the cime is committed against.

Personally, I think we need to make penalties harsher if someone commits a violent crime in general.

  • Who is twisting the truth now lol? Those violent crimes are ALREADY illegal. The ONLY thing these laws do is allow prosecution for why someone did it. That is called WHAT THEY THINK. These heinous crimes can already be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

So you believe that minorities should be prosecuted under hate crimes legislation for attacking white people because they are white?

  • You stupid fucking Americans get up to date and make everyone equal like theyve been here for almost 110 years.

  • Gays and lesbians haev total right to exist and the pursuit of happyness, now do they really need a status validation and "special laws" to protect their lifestyle,

    ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there si not a single shred of evidence that supports the existance or the creation of this laws.

Gays can attack Christians but watch out if anybody should say something about a gay person. Ohh wow!!!

we're really gone cookie in this Country of ours . ..

  • How many Christians have been killed by gay people for being Christians and how many gay people have been killed by Christians for being gay?

Even at YT I've seen many death threads of Christians against gay people for being gay, but no death thread from gay people against a Christian for being a Christian.

Everybody experiencing special threads needs special protection in order to accomplish real equality for all.

BTW: If you are gay or lesbian you have a life, not a lifestyle.

  • @ab0kanal The point is not how many, the point is that they're not protected equally. That'd be like saying more murders happen with groups X, therefore we can forget about group Y for equality reasons. How does that make sense? Sounds Two Wrongs Fallacy. It'd be a lot easier to simply make a special class of action and not base it on speech or thought and skin color, which is unconstitutional.

  • Hate crime laws are so subjective .

If you beat up someone, you should be punished the same, and may I say harshly, regardless of your reasoning.

  • GAYS HATE MY RIGHT TO FREE SPEACH

  • Why are you against gays or something?

  • Fellow Christians There is a "hate crimes bill" S.909 that was devised by the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith in order to criminalize Christianity. Any Good Christian who publicly stands up for traditional marriage or protests the millions of babies murdered by abortion will run the risk of jail like in Canada. Check out truthtellers and watch Rev. Ted Pike's videos explaining the danger and then call your Senators toll free at 877-851-6437 and tell them NO on S.909. Save Our Constitution

  • thomas(dot)gov - S909

    111th CONGRESS - 1st Session - S.909

    SEC. 10. RULE OF CONSTRUCTION

    . . .

    (3) CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTIONS- Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit any constitutionally protected speech, expressive conduct or activities (regardless of whether compelled by, or central to, a system of religious belief), including the exercise of religion protected by the First Amendment and peaceful picketing or demonstration.

  • -continued

The Constitution does not protect speech, conduct or activities consisting of planning for, conspiring to commit, or committing an act of violence.

    (4) FREE EXPRESSION- Nothing in this Act shall be construed to allow prosecution based solely upon an individual's expression of racial, religious, political, or other beliefs or solely upon an individual's membership in a group advocating or espousing such beliefs.

  • @jfsfrnd That's already how the law was, except now they take all into consideration, not JUST that you're a member of some group. But they ARE taking it all into consideration. This is opening the door to a witch hunt, because it's impossible to prove that you're NOT something. So they're just going to tear into every bit of speech you ever did. It's not uncommon when fighting to use intimidating words. That's NOT hate speech, no more than punching someone makes you a hate group. But it is now.

  • @ambidextrality Got evidence?

  • @jfsfrnd "based solely upon" means it won't be based on speech alone, but that speech WILL be taken into consideration.

  • @ambidextrality ''(4) Can you read? Do you see the term ''free expression''? You can't be prosecuted solely based upon your racial, religious, political or other beliefs or upon membership in a group advocating or espousing such beliefs. You can only be prosecuted based on an act of VIOLENCE.

''The Constitution does not protect speech, conduct or activities consisting of planning for, conspiring to commit, or committing an act of violence.''
