  • dibujan excelente !!!!

  • This video is amazing. It brings a image of the construction stage all the way up to lift off.

  • too bad they couldn't draw it free hand... you can see its being traced at 20 sec and several frames after that point....

keeping a NASA cup on the desk is certainly a way to prove they are NASA employees too... like the three NASA cups i have. one in the barn one at my warehouse job and one on my desk here at home. NASA=Never A Straight Answer

  • At 2:19 it looks sort of like Buran

  • how do you draw a f ing space suit?!!!!!!

  • What is the name of song? Do you know?

  • lame?

  • sorry bout the long comment read from my first to this1

  • need to be expanded because all knowledge cannot be achived by 1 man but by his/her community country reigon PLANET. once all weapons have been laid down weather them being guns/bombs/ etc. we will be able to find the true meaning in life and this being psooible we may find it to be tacos...jk but we shale find more frontiers more studies to be conducted and more homes to be found.

  • The fact that life itself may be short for one human but yet is long for our race Thus making it possible for our racve to discover the possibility or more life either it being plant-animal-alien-evil we shal find more until our libraries are full of info and

  • Once full cooperation from all conrties is achived we shale either a fix to global warming or fide us a new suitable home or new frontier to study.

  • great point love the clip and lol m&ms plz give my compiments to the artists and i would like to get intouch with some1 from nasa. and like Csp499 i believe the rage of wars end is in sight and i believe that once this carnage has ended another crisis will begin may it be of food hunger or anyother world problem. Likwise the end of those is just over the horizon and once the bridge of crisis has been crossed we as humans shale rise up fly from our nests thus being able explore more than ever.

  • What music did you use ReelNasa?

  • Fantastic video!

Great meld between the drawings and video.

    Compliments to the two artists!

  • I'm not saying an end to war is in reach, let alone possible. That, and if all logical people laid down their weapons, who'd stop the illogical ones?

  • interesting thoughts Csp499 ...

  • That's inevitable, but in the meantime, we should focus on survival. Maybe if nations gave up on war, we'd be financially capable of looking at every survival option.

Though your point of affordability rings true- I think space is too hefty an investment to be carried by individual nations. Some kind of international organization should be established for that.

Still, in the words of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, "The Earth is the cradle of humanity, but mankind cannot stay in the cradle forever. "

  • It's not that simple. Besides which, we already have plans for extraterrestrial colonization on the drawing board, and on the calender. Making a sudden shift in investments wouldn't make much sense. As for war, it's clearly unavoidable, but spreading it thin over two or more planets would decrease the severity.

My point exactly; our time IS limited, as are our resources. That time may be extended by increased space expansion, but I don't see how living underground would remedy it in any way.

  • That's a valid point, but you're not getting what I'm saying here. Even with resources aside, what would happen if disaster- natural or otherwise- struck Earth? You think living underground or underwater would ensure our survival? Were we constricted to Earth, either it'd all be over, or it'd take centuries to rebuild. If we had at least one more developed planet, it wouldn't be as disastrous.

As we can see with oil, our resources are VERY limited, and short supply means immeasurable bloodshed.

  • Deep Sea dwellings? Are you dense? Going underwater isn't going to help avoid disaster. Besides which, that wouldn't be much less expensive.

I don't see what you mean by it being suicide. Sure, it's going to be put on hiatus for now given the state of the economy, but we really can't afford not to. Earth only has so much to offer before it's depleted, and the sooner we get resources from elsewhere, the better, both for us and the Earth.

  • How so, Steve? You realize keeping ourselves anchored to Earth is pretty much suicide in the long run, right?

  • Research. Try it maybe you'll learn something. Hopefully.

  • Yes, like I said ignorant. Discussion over.

  • What are you gonna do about it. What if we want to go bankrupt? In that note - who's most likely going to recover? Obviously I can see your ignorance on the space program nor understand how economically beneficial it is to the Us. Not mentioning the medical breakthroughs. Well just look the rest up scooter. It will keep you thinking. Well I didn't plan on you getting it in the first place. Have fun.

  • Like I said - You're Russian. NASA doesn't affect you tax wise. If you actually understood what i was saying.

  • You're from Russia. It doesnt affect you - so quit complaining.

  • stfu bitch

  • You know, the exploration, science, and discovery aspects are extremely inspiring for me, and as I continue my education to hopefully work for NASA, I find more and more that it's the people that matter the most and are the most inspiring.

An equal thanks goes out to all of NASA, their families, and those affiliated with furthering our knowledge and understanding of the universe, as well as our place in it.

  • Noobs.

  • no it's not!

  • i like... i find it especially unique that two people could come together and through it all produce something that honestly looks as though it were created by a single mind... i would like to view the details on this particular piece.

  • Great job :) .... 5/5

  • Pretty sweet...once again, good work co-ops

  • Beautiful art- This is what I call art- Technical drawing. The best art tools are the pencil, eraser, and ruler. With them you can make a simple yet perfect drawing. You show the essence of the object, in this case the space shuttle, the lines, design, and not the color. That is what is most beautiful to me. You can have a different opinion, but this is what I feel.

  • please limit your comments to those relevant to the video

  • Space Shuttle:

    1981-2010 R.I.P

  • umm they haven't died, they're just going out of use

    lol

  • Whoever Bradley is, I'd like to applaud the Jacobian matrix in the video.

  • sing, dance, draw anything else?? o yes build super sonic high powered tragerties nad build huge space obyjects

i've just realised we have those rulers in school lol

  • i just realized you have no life

  • actually i have a life outside of the internet unlike you who tell people that they have no life to give yourself a litle bit of humor because you have none

  • that shut em up

  • jamin beats

    rock on=]

  • That's cool!!

  • that is so cool

  • VERY cool video, i watch it @ least once a day.. LOL.

  • That's cool!

  • The shuttle enters the atmosphere at Mach 25. For the duration of supersonic flight (M>1), there is a shock wave formed around the orbiter which can be seen at 2:30 on the video.

  • What exactly is happening to the Space Shuttle around the 2:30 mark? Did someone actually video tape the Shuttle as it went through the critical portion of Re-entry? Because it looks like at that point, the Shuttle is coming out of its maximum heating phase.

  • During Shuttle re-entry, NASA aircraft such as T-38s (Astronaut training jets) and WB-57 (high-altitude plane) will be in the area to follow re-entry and landing. Chances are, the WB-57 got this great image!

  • Alps224, you are so knowledgeable.

Question: what is the service ceiling of the WB-57?

    Fact: Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.

  • u forgot star trek,

star treks cool, well the song is

  • This is awesome you guys. I am proud to say that my sister is one of the artists who drew the space shuttle!!!

  • Can we please keep these unrelated comments off of this discussion board. NASA discussion is appropriate and encouraged.

  • Cool drawing! But what was the music in the background? It was really nice

  • What is the shuttle landing at 02:30?

  • that was great! its interesting to note how the entire joy of the video has been completely lost in some of the comment tho lol. At the end of the day movies like this one should be enjoyed purely for what they are - leave the contentious issues aside :>)

  • Yes the music was great to go along with the pace and the drawing...fantastic! I loved it! Thanks for sharing

  • Fantastic, was the music specially composed to the piece?

  • wow....i want a career in nasa one day and if this is what i have to look forward to then wow...that drawing has so much detail its just amazing

  • utterly kick ass video. good editing, and drawing.

  • Just Beautiful!

  • if your refering to me, i suggest you get considerably more concerned about obamas plans to dismantle the vision for space exploration...despite historical evidence that this is the wrong way to go, despite groundbreaking success by nasa with the finishing of the iss , kibo , etc, that put nasa back on the map,

and now obama wants to cut it and throw it away to sponser what? another bailout or stimulus check that will be forgotten in 3 months?

    i hope im wrong.

  • AWESOME , NOW PLEASE DONT LET OBAMA DESTROY OUR COUNTRIES LAST VESTIGAGE OF WORLD LEADERSHIP- OUR SPACE DOMINANCE.

we can land on the moon on JUNE 22 2019 exactly 50 years after neil armstrong did.

700 billion for wall street and Obama wants nasas tiny 15 billion budget that does more good for america and our prestige and childrens love of science then the whole loan "bailout"

we should quadruple nasas budget, go to mars by 2030, and employ 10,000,000 people as high paying engineers

  • ending was top notch. Great job.

  • That was very cool

  • Smarties.

  • Flawless.

  • music credit?

  • Very nice,interesting,great video !

  • Beautifully done!! And yes, the drawing is magnificent! The space program has been part of my soul since the very beginnings.

  • Masterpiece.

  • Ad Astra.

Be ready folks, join National Space Society and support NASA!

  • awesome indeed !

  • I saw a sense of hope in this video and the sketch is a masterpiece.

  • I know the space shuttle is old, but it's still so cool.

  • Are you suggesting the shuttle is a MILF?

  • Why did you open your mouth? You contributed nothing. Not even a shock laugh.

  • I'm sorry. Maybe one day I'll be able to articulate a profundity as great as "I know the space shuttle is old, but it's still so cool."

  • Do you realize you have the wit of an autistic? Was that supposed to be insulting? Is that as witty as you can be? Is it?

  • Hm, so you're the kind of guy who uses the mentally ill to denigrate others. Not only do you lack wit and humor, you also lack quality of character. Nice to make your acquaintance, I'm sure.

  • Your pride in such utterances is symptomatic of your moral debasement. What a crass little boy you are. One day you might realize how shameful such comments are.

Why don't you sit down and see if you can figure out the difference between making a bawdy joke about the space shuttle and mocking autistic people and wishing cancer on others?

  • Lol. Anyone who doesn't mock mental illness or wish cancer on others is 'dull'?

  • Where did I make any such claim?

I merely pointed out that someone such as you who mocks autism and wishes cancer on people is morally debased.

  • So anyone who objects to the mocking of autism and wishing cancer on people is sanctimonious? lol

    You are an imbecile.

  • I find it amusing that someone who mocks autism and wishes cancer on people then turns round and says "You think you're better than me?" when challenged on their disgusting behavior.

  • You're the one who got pissy over my little jokes, pal.

    Anyway, see you around.

I sincerely wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

  • now THAT is a video.

    5 stars and fav'ed

  • soooo cool!!!!

  • some may say words can not describe how awe inspiring this video is,i can.this video is among the most elite of art videos on youtube an deserves alot more views.you have real talent.

  • That is truly amazing.

  • Inspirational

  • Cool! You have officially showed up us Marshall Co-ops!

  • This is great. And I like that end; Thanks for sharing...

  • Music credits please? Super cool - and I dig the tunes!

  • I would have to agree. What are the music credits?

  • Woa. The drawing is amazingly similar to the real one. I wonder how long it took in real time.

  • This was great! Thanks for sharing.

  • This may be the coolest video I've seen on You Tube!!! Thanks for posting!
