Earlier in the movie Michelle Yeoh had told Ziyi Zhang that she prefers to use a variety of weapons "except" a straight sword. Unfortunately in this scene she was running out of weapons and had no other choice. Add to it the power of a light saber....... :-)

a few suggestions: hearing the lightsaber turn on would of been cool, instead of just hearing it on already. also, i can tell there wasnt a lightsaber sound effect for everytime it clashed with the green destiny. its ok though, i know editing something like this is some work, and i didnt even notice it the first time i watched this.
