hello.

I have a ms 290 and I was looking a ta carving bar of 3/8 pitch same as stock chain.. but was still unsure it would fit.. any ideas?  I dont want to buy a new chainsaw but I would buy the carving bar.

you could but you wouldnt be able to do much detail work, basic just blocking out a shape
