I have a 1993 and whike I was driving on the freeway, the cold to hot meter went up fast and white.smoke starting to rise under the hood. It had no water and it was leaking. I added water and when i got home i started the.car up and started making clicking noise. Does anyone know what it can be?

l thing the sealgasket fail and the water was go to cylinders... that why a clicking noises.

Hi there, just wanting to know an answer to a question. My vehicle temp starts to rise when vehicle has stopped but still running(gets pretty high) then cools down when driving. What could the problem be?

Stop leak can cause it ti overheat to, my mechanic put that in my car and it overheated. Of course these where extreme conditions like 101 degree heat and a long incline, but it never did it before.

Why my car some times run ok, and sometimes it just don wanna run, is very slow. like if dont take gas or someting like that, the gas filter is new, transsmission new and it dont wanna run normal, well only some times, run ok.. please help me :(

hi, why my car some times overheated, i run with the car is normal, but when i stop in the red light, look like it starig to overheated, and i run again it fix by it self i mean is normal again... do you know whats the problem in this car? is honda ciciv ex 96 automatic... thank you

i had that issue. YOur fan switch could be out. YOu can check by: Turn your ac and look under the hood. Both fans should come on. IF one those not spin then your fan switch is bad. Replace it from oreily cost of the part is 22 bucks.

what about lack of engine oil....low engine oil will produce alot of piston friction and will make the car overheat

My fiancee has a 2002 saab 9-3 His car overheats and wont start for a long time after he turns it off... He replaced the thermostat and the butt connector .. he put new coolant in there.. it still wont start. Also the heater wont turn on or off on its own we have to put the fuse in and take it out when we're done .. anyone know what this could be ?!

hey my 88 honda there are no visible leaks and i still gotta put coolant on the radiator. After 3 days of not checkin' it, it needs some coolant! could it be a headgasket now?

nar just put some radiator stop leak and you will be away, my old car did that, you will just have a slight leak in one of your pipes or gaskets. cheers

hi a ha problem, i drive 3000GT my car TEMP gauge shows in traffic little more than 3/4 but never RED

fan starts afther 3/4 and keeps TEMP same

while driving it's 1/2

checked antifreez -clean( no oil inside)

checked oil- clean (no coolen inside)

checked spark plugs no sine of coolent or oil

problem is my car burns oil when TEMP gos hight i changed thermostat and antifreez when i got car month ago

thats like mine..it will be about 195 (1/2 way) while driving and in traffic about 3/4 but never red, then my fan comes on
