  • The statue at 02:00 is of George Washington. Revere's statue is up in the North End.

  • Yeah you gotta make sure to stop by cheers and have a beer there meet Sam malone and Diane that's absolutely awesome :)

  • Boston yeah what a lovely City :)

  • Can any of the people that comment on videos on YouTube say SOMETHING NICE or can they just be mean...

    It's like srsly people?

  • see thats something that San Francisco does not have. Feels like Boston is an European city to live and San Francisco a city to visit, take pics, eat, and get the hell out!

  • hey, do you ever travel outside of the US

  • @nickgen123 Hi Nick, we hope to travel to France in the next couple of years.

  • im planning on going to boston for a week in dec..any ideas of local spots cheap yet great boston i want to experience the real local boston if that makes sense

  • Why all the haters...I was saying something NICE about this video- so go screw yourselves....not all people from Boston or Mass or ASSHOLES- but apparently- you are. :)

  • Here's a tip for Southerners visiting New England: Go back to The South, you fucking hicks. We don't want you cunts up here.

  • @IKeepBadCompany ....This is why people think we're MASSHOLES...because of ignorant jerkoffs like you ! These are really nice people and you need to shut the hell up !

  • @nugirl2010 Ah, go vote for the Tea Party, you wanna-be hillbilly.

  • @nugirl2010 Oh please. It's well known that Bostonians, including most New Englanders, look down upon Southerners. The New England area has a long-established history of perpetuating a sense of superiority to the South.

  • @SagaciousSilence We look down upon ignorance. Does that include southerners, some. The thing is, we don't generalize, unlike you.

  • @IKeepBadCompany ....This is why people think we're MASSHOLES...because of ignorant jerkoffs like you ! These are really nice people and you need to shut the hell up !

  • @nugirl2010 I live in NH and very few people from Mass have ever struck a chord with me. They mostly seem arrogant haughty and try to be "bad asses" it seems. I dont want to stereotype and I know there are good and bad people everywhere but never been very impressed with Mass people. I dont even like southern NH people much because they are like Mass people.

  • Terrible video... Lots of inaccurate statements. " you walk through Boston and occasionally see a historic building"... Really!!?! the whole city is filled with the history of this country! this is where the USA pretty much began! the statute in the commons is of Washington... Not Revere! No Granary burial grounds?! notable graves such as... John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Crispus Attucks, Paul Revere! Paul Revere's house! etc. Very faux- informative vid

  • That is my beautiful hometown

  • heh, the map is so not to scale...

  • I was born and raised in Boston. It is so different from when I was a kid. I attended the Hobbs Jr. High School in West Medford back in the 50s. Anyone from Boston or Medford?

  • Its a shame that you only had 1 day to spend in boston. There is way too much to do there for 1 day.

  • @Joshua78006 We agree Joshua! We would like to come back just to visit the museums. Maybe some day!

    Thanks

  • A few years ago we had a holiday in New Hampshire (Franconia), but we spent a few days in Boston on the way out and again on our way home (UK). We both loved Boston, such a friendly place, we felt very comfortable there, which is probably the greatest compliment you could pay to any city.

Loved the Legal Seafood restaurants and Finneal Market

  • We luv Boston! We saw whales (a great experience) , the people are nice and the hotel we stayed is in our Top 3 nicest and best service hotel in the world! The Elliot suite hotel after Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona and Metropole in Brussels. Will go there again! btw great video x

    hugs xox

  • Cool video. I am from RI and loved your Newport video. I frequently take the train up to Boston. The only thing that I would suggest differently would be this: Walk the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail starts in front of the State House on Beacon Street and continues north through historic Boston (the Boston of John Adams and Jefferson) including the Boston Massacre site, The Old North Church, many VERY historic cemeteries Bunker Hill and more. It is a bit of a walk, but an easy day trip.

  • @BrianH71488 How cool. I would like to take the train from Newport to Boston. I wish we had had the time to go out to the Cape as well. We had the choice to take a trolley or walk and it was unusually hot that day 94 wow, so we took the trolley. I heard the Freedom Trail was great, hopefully next time.

    Thanks

  • not know english NO SE INGLES.. PONGAN SUBTITULO... anexen subtitulo

  • @XDchecho I will work on it, thanks

  • @XDchecho Si usted no sabe ingles porque mira el video? En los estados unidos, Español no es la lengua de la mayoridad ni lengua official. Aprende ingles antes de mirar.

  • I'm not a Southerner, but a Confederate Son. I absolutely love Boston. This video really reminds me of the days that I used to live in Wellesley, we had access to such a great city.

  • @JohnRhysMusician We sure do wish we had more time up there. It was such a great city to visit.

  • Thanks Dan, that was a great video. To answer your question if I've been in Maine. I have not. Back in the late 70's I did work somewhere up in the Catskills on a Dynapar Machine that measures out and bends duct work. On the Appalachian Trail, I hiked from Springer Mountain, GA to Pine Grove Furnance State Park, PA. So I'm slowly getting there. I retire in 7 months and plan to move to Dandridge, TN, so hopefully I'll be closer to the A.T. to hike more often.

  • @athiker7209 Ahhh, my people come from Dandridge, White Pine area. It would be great to live so close to the mountains. Keep me posted on your hiking exploits!

  • LOOKN FORWARD TO MAINE...... KEEPUM COMING...THKS!!!

  • @coolcutter1 Hey thanks so much coolcutter.. Maine is an awesome place.
