  • Imagine if the internets existed in the 80s pro wrestling would change for the worst too early. lol

  • And the ref is Danny Davis, who was in the ring with The Hart Foundation at Wrestlemania III!

  • @mrkoolnerd his time in WCW was horrendous, because they didn't use him properly, which is sad. As a matter of fact, i didn't think they use Bret properly either looking back on. Just my opinion

  • to do a good technical job with spektacules aktion is one thing...to give the people a good show and cool coments with sunglasses another...both parts doing perfekt bei Anvil and Bret...one of the greatest Tag Teams ever !!!

  • disqualification

  • To have an excellent work ethic and still be a superstar is a great feat. It's what makes Bret so great. I was a Hulkster fan for a while as a kid, but I believe that Bret surpasses Hogan in a lot ways. There are those who have a love for the fame and those who have a love for the work. You can tell the difference.

  • Gotta love how Bret takes on Hammer and Honky at the same time and especially when Bret clotheslines Hammer after Honky kicks out from the pin at 5:00 !!! Hitman was such a great worker!

  • That special unknown team member was THE UNDERTAKER

  • This brings such good memories. Wrestling is just not what it used to be back then.

  • Dusty and Koko should've come to the aid of the Harts so we could've had the obligatory Survivor Series tease :)

  • @fivebearrugs

They in fact do come to their aid...the tape cuts off beforehand

  • i remember the dream team/million dolalr team match....bret was left alone in the ring for over 10 minutes and eliminated everyone but ted dibiase...

  • Loved wrestling back then, it was brilliant.

what pap do we get now? Mark Henry and MVP V Legacy........... yawn

  • Man, I remember this as the first WWF match I've ever seen. How I'd kill to have this day n age of wrestling back.

  • I agree, wrestling has change so much and its not what it use to be. You will never see another Bret hart or Jim Neidhart.

  • fuck even rythem and blues were an awesome tag team back then.

  • In my opinion, i think Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart was one of the most underrated superstars in the WWF back then. He was a great wrestler and should be in the Hall Of Fame with Bret Hart. It's a shame that Neidhart's solo wrestling career didn't take off. 'Cause he had the potential to be a champion in the WWF. as much as i like Bret, Anvil was the personality of the Hart Foundation. YEAHH BABY! hahahaha.

  • Even Bret Hart said the Anvil really carried the Hart Foundation team than more people give him credit for in the Bret Hart DVD box set...

  • bret held him back, always talked about how jim couldnt talk and HE DID All the talk. bret isnt the great angel everyone think he is.

  • Jim Neidhart is one of the best wrestlers of all time, sure his solo career wasnt that grand, but imo he had outstanding brawling skills, and for a man of 5Ft 11inchs had tremendous strength. He should have been used as a big nasty heel.

  • @baxstar what about his time in wcw?

  • Love Hitman & Hammer. Like, I Guess... ...Honky & Anvil!

  • Comment removed

  • Dany davis is the official but he was "band" 87 and a memebr of HF. Think some one in WWF may have forgat thet when they said he can have this match.

  • you gotta love the rhythm & blues

an awesome due of the honky tonk man & greg "the hammer" valentine

  • I really didn't enjoy the Hart Foundation's second title reign, because the attention was shifted away from the Hart Foundation and the spotlight was firmly and solidly fixated on Bret Hart and trying to make him the WWF's next big single's star. It should have been about the team, not just all about Bret.

  • There were times when HTM and Valentive jobbed, but they were not jobbers. They hung around as enhancement talent and to get the young guys over them since they were champions in the past. They gave credibility to some guys who beat them.

  • old days are the best.

  • ryhtim new wwf tag champs

  • Waste of time. The Hart Foundation got screwed by a couple of jobbers.

  • Honky Tonk Man is no jobber! And "The Hammer" is a wrestling legend

  • Watch Honky's matches against Warrior and Hammer's match against Undertaker. They were both squashed like a couple of prelim bums.

  • Wow, you are a fucking mark. Honky Tonk Man's match against Warrior was a CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH. Valentine wrestled the Undertaker years past his prime. You are a fucking idiot.

  • yep-they jobbed to everyone in the WWF.

  • Yeah. this guy is an idiot. HTM held the I-C title for about 15 months, and Hammer held it for 8 months, and Hammer held the Tag belts for almost a year yet they're "jobbers". LOL, unreal! Rhythm and Blues were slated to win the tag belts from the Harts until the LOD and Nasty Boys came in.

  • They should have kept them for longer, Honky and Hammer complemented each other as well as Bret and Jim. Bwahahaha!!! (grabs goatee)

  • If Rhythm and Blues were meant to win the belts then they would've done so. The same was said for Power & Glory. As for the WWE Hall of Fame, it is a joke. The fact that Mae Young and Pete Rose are in it is solid proof. It will never be legit without the inductions of Randy Savage and Bruno Sammartino. I suspect that you are a WWE mark and are basing your opinions on nostalgia rather than facts.

  • Good example with Pete Rose....terrible example with Mae Young.

  • Hey dumbass, Valentine is a former I-C and tag champion and HTM was given the belt longer then anyone in history (single reign). How the hell are they "jobbers". The Hammer is in the WWF HOF and the WWF wants HTM in it, he has turned them down so far.

  • Valentine's and Honky's IC reigns were jokes.

The WWF doesn't care about the tag team titles either. Both titles just provided filler material to build the audience up for the main events.

P.S. "Hall of Famers" don't get squashed and buried in their matches. People like Valentine, Honky and Snuka have not business getting any accolades for their shoddy accomplisments in a fake "sport", especially since they ended their careers as pure jobbers.

  • Rhythm & Blues were a comedy team and were mainly used to put over other teams. By 1990 both team members were veterans: Honky's lengthy title reign had ended 2 years earlier and since then he had been relegated to lower midcard status and Valentine hadn't held the IC title for 5 years by then. Together, they never beat any important team (they even regularly jobbed to the Bushwackers). If you were a genuine wrestling fan you would know this.

  • Honky Tonk Was a joke the moment he set foot in a WWF arena.

  • yep

  • Koko B. Ware was not necessary on the Dream team.

  • Yes he was...to job to the debuting Undertaker

  • He was used to show off the tombstone.

  • Awesome footage. It is a collectible I would say.

  • Featuring Greg "Boxcar" Valentine!!

  • Read Bret's book. He is so honest and is up front about his shortcomings. Watching this after reading what was going on behind the scenes makes this match odd to watch but it is still good to watch.

  • undertaker is the mystery opponent

  • Yes he was and his debut was awesome.

  • Power and Glory definately should've gotten a shot at the belts...Would've loved to have seen them wrestle the Harts

  • chenkeng2001, who provided this video, has that match too. Take a look for it.

  • Honky Tonk turned into such a jobber, i love it.

The match needed Power and Glory though

  • The Hart Foundation is definetly the greatest tag team of all time! Thanks for the post!

  • yes they are . hart foundation rule, bret hart and jim neidhart are the best wrestlers ever. its a shame jim was so under used in his singles career

  • I think the Steiners got them beat.

  • No they don't, the Harts are better.

  • 11/17/90 Superstars. Thanks.
