try this puzzle, i windows 7 recently automaticall updated and deleted every single file that was important. they go from youtube to gaming to all that stuff. all my movies, clips, movie intros, everything! its all deleted from my desktop. how i restore that? i tried everything! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO! THANK-YOU! I had tried a program to restore undeleted files. The scan took forever and with only modest results. This was SO quick and EASY! If you have any doubts about the process, you can just select copy and send to a flash drive, where you can open any file to see if you want to cut or copy and paste to the original location.

In windows 7 you are loged as user and your credentials are elevated to an admin level when you are promped for something that needs real admin rights. this is done by UAC (user access control).

so you are regular user in administrators group. that is not (by the UAC) real administrator.
