"One of the best cities in SE Asia"- For what? Phnom Penh`s great for traveling if you`re a tourist or retired and just want to relax. Try living and working there. It aint so fun. Low salaries, tuk tuk drivers hassling you every day, and there isn`t much to do. You can spend your free time drinking, drinking and did I mention drinking? Unless you are a retired geriatric, in my opinion it`s kind of boring to live there.
Hopefully you're doing okay in Phnom Penh. Sorry to hear that you were unhappy living in American, and that you had to move to Cambodia. I wish you peace, wealth, health, and happiness.
