man the Gallente are a rly great bunch of people, but i hate there ships.

Not so great from what I know... and my people are supposed to be their allies! All the Empires/Races have a dark side that makes none of them better than the rest; it's just a matter of whether you can reconcile each one's dark side or not. And some Gallente ships look decent. I have just about as many ships I don't like in the Caldari arsenal. I like the look of more of the Minmatar ships than any of the others. Amarr... has a few nice ones but overall I just can't stand their aesthetics.

Yeah. I'd agree to fly a Thorax or Vexor if I had Gallente skills, or any of the Battlecruisers (really, I like everybody's battlecruisers. They did a damn good job with all of them.. though I much prefer the Hurricane over the Cyclone, for sure)... And the Mega and Hyp aren't too bad... but the other Cruisers and anything smaller? No, sir, I don't like it...

Wouldn't be surprised. All I really know is that they're really hypocritical and self-righteous. Might as well be religious fanatics, really (what is it with the curvy/armor tank races and this?). I normally like people with these sorts of ideals, but the facts just disturb me far too much to like things. Really, though, nobody's perfect in New Eden- every empire is just as bad as the rest, it's just a matter of how they're that bad, and if you can live with that dark side.

Yeah... nothing about how they're actually self-righteous pricks. At least the Minmatar are distinctly up-front about things- they don't try to hide their negative personality aspect, and I much prefer their goals over the others. No disrespect to the others, but really, they all have their bad sides and 'good' sides, and Minmatar's bad side just doesn't bother me like the rest (definitely not Amarr, though... even more support for my Minmatar-ness).
