This is a fantastic album, the whole thing is brimming with creativity and freedom. I'm glad he returned to Maiden, but I'm also very glad he left in '93 to make the crazy fantastic albums that he did. I think you are being over simplistic with your interpretation of Benjamin Breeg (Paul Dianno) Maiden uses the word reincarnation in a metaphorical sense rather than quoting some religious doctrine. Its about a man who is trying to break free from his past and thus trying to reincarnate himself into something better. This song Octavia more reminds me of how the human condition universally never changes despite the passing of time and generation. Time and place change but humans never do.
A beautiful song, from an amazing singer!

A great song of the great vocalist of Iron Maiden.
Last year Iron Maiden did their eighth tour around Brazil, and they played here in Recife.
Octavia is latin, means "oitava" - "Eighth female"
It was the name of the first wife of Nero, and Nero was an excelent singer.
