...another Dr story that comes close to this is Revelation of the Daleks...it isn't really a Dalek story but Davros is maybe just as evil if not worse when he feeds a section of the galaxy their own relatives to make money to build more Daleks...he levitates in that one and shoots the lightening bolt out of his hand...and the crystal Dalek with the human head was great....probably one of Colin Baker's best episodes....
@SleepWhenIamDead I'd agree its the second best davros tv story, but Remembrance is probably the second best dalek story which happens to have Davros in it behind this. mind you i dunno whats the best dalek story ever. it depends what u want doens't it. In terms fo Dalek action this story is actually outmatvhed by the dalek of earthinvasion
Some of the show's best writing was from the Jon Pertwee era to the early Tom Baker years... and this episode is one of the best examples. I have the audio of Genesis Of The Daleks on an album from way back when. What made this episode particularly good was Davros' mania as he killed the traitors, then his shock when the Daleks turned on him.
I really enjoy the final scene where the Daleks issue their warning "This is only the beginning..." It truly captured their evil. Great job!
I agree with the "wow" below. This trailer looks great! Made me want to buy the DVD tomorrow. Tom Baker episodes are my favorite by far and these 6 or so episodes were excellent.
