I had a 55 Special and this car is way different.

A lot of people probably bought Buicks based on spots like these--they ran live on Tuiesday nights on NBC as part of the Milton Berle show, which was the biggest variety show hit of its time. The announcer, Jack Lescoulie, worked a long day back then--he was on the Today Show starting at 7 AM as Dave Garroway's second banana.
