  • Obama is clueless...................If he/OBAMA was serious business would love him they don't...

  • These people are very innovating with all their little toy soldiers, HAARP, chemtrails, viruses, vaccines, GMO food. These people are evil and everything they do is evil. Wake up sheeple.

  • Vice President Joe Biden details the role the Recovery Act has played in funding innovation that will help build a foundation for a more robust and competitive American economy.

  • America just needs more SCVs..........

  • Innovation takers place for the present and future learning from the past. The past is anytime before the present and the future is anytime past the present

    E-T

  • If this technology is in use today then there should be less casualties from IEDs. Is this the case? With today's technology very few soldiers should lose their life or limb.

    E-T

  • We need to be multitasking. We need innovative solutions to IEDs. Some have suggested building RC/RF technology that can travel along an IED route. This way the equipment with out personnel will be impacted by the IED saving life and limb of the soldier. This will help the peace while offering something to build that saves lives too.

    E-T

  • Will more innovative solutions help offer employment? What happened to global trade? There are trade partners in the desert that could choose to develop their desert land into wind and solar energy grids. Can our trade partners choose peace in the desert too?

    Peace,

    E-T

  • You could also spend your way out of debt by investing in windmills designed for desert climates. This investment will offer a efficient way to get more energy from the desert by combining wind with solar on the same land.

    E-T

  • If you spend money on ways to grow your capital you will spend your way to prosperity. Look into Solar technology designed for the desert. Good luck you will be helping put an end to wars over oil. You will help oil last longer.

    E-T

  • I am in a little bit of debt right now and I am to borrow more and more to spend myself to prosperity.

  • Innovation helps offer capital purpose and a peaceful way to grow. We have friends and allies in the world that innovative trade can grow with. Example,Egypt, they do not want poverty and want employment. An innovative solar grid that utilizes their natural resource can help.

    Peace,

    E-T

  • How is America helping to stimulate innovate solution to trade issues?

    E-T

  • Innovation that produces electricity can work with hydrogen production. Some are thinking of building such energy grids in international water. Water is needed to make hydrogen for people that want this choice.

    E-T

  • Well it is 2011 may as well get started. Fortunately while war was raging on and our crew was working to put out some fires we were also building innovative equity. These thoughts are ready to do more. With the help of trade partners this equity should help create innovative employment. Please share your thoughts too.

    E-T

  • Innovation offers capital purpose. North America can do better. Working with our trade partners will help innovative minds to flourish and grow free from war. Peace is a choice. I trust more people will seek innovative ways to sustain peace.

  • There are sets of conditions when tax cuts (tax rate of 50% moved down to 45%) lead to revived employment, increased corporate earnings, increased tax revenues. There are competitive conditions when the above results are not translated across the board in Mainland U.S.A. Thus a tax reduction in the U.S.A., matched by 15% tax rate in China, HAS RESULTED IN MAYBE WHAT IS CLAIMED TO BE 4.9% UNEMPLOYMENT. Discussion is "hypothetical", "self-serving" because data source & date are not disclosed.

  • We will carry the weight as our soldiers carry the burden of a war that will end this year 2011 as agreed. This is a new year let's make it a peaceful and prosperous one.

  • Elections are the only way we have to get the people in office that will represent democracy and assure the citizens can live in freedom and assure independence. A $2 trillion dollar debt to a capitalist dictatorship is not good for a democratic economy.

    E-T

  • The politicians got North America into a $2 trillion dollar debt with a capitalist dictatorship. That influence is not good for a democratic economy. The issue is repayment of that debt as quickly as possible and that will take some innovative thought. It is too easy to blame the little guy for the mistakes of those in trust of their government...

  • What was the $2 trillion dollars used for? To buy influence or support innovation? Does buying influence have an ROI? What did they buy ... our freedom? Innovation requires freedom and independence. A $2 trillion dollar debt has enslaved the people to a communist capitalist dictatorship ... who voted for that?

Innovation works communism does not. Support innovation that will pay the debt and set North America free to prosper.

    E-T

  • @etellurian Please cite your primary source of the $2 Trillion dollar debt. What are the dates of indebtedness, interest rates, and maturity dates. If as you say its a debt of America, then we (Feds) got the money, and they (capitalist dictatorship) received our IOU. Honorable people like us pay our debts. We can't do that as full time idealogues like Democrats, Republicans, or worse Tea Partiers, fence-sitters.

  • Will innovative hydrogen fuel manufacturing help pay off trillions in debt and lead North America and our allies to prosperity?

    E-T

  • How much spending has been done on innovation?

    E-T

  • How does manufacturing hydrogen in international water help North America's economy? How can such innovative thought offer more jobs while helping the energy demands?

    E-T

  • Going into an election with bad polls because the public figured out lib Dems disdain them--that libs oppose what the public created in the marketplace--R&D is the perfect aspect for the Dems to extract from business and adopt as a mascot. It's the one thing the anointed can promote with passion, because it has nothing to do with what the benighted masses created and currently need and desire, allowing liberal politicians to pose as great visionaries. R&D will appear front and center this fall!

  • Summer jobs hit all-time low for youths

    -------------------------------------------------

    By Dennis Cauchon, USA TODAY

The worst summer on record for young people who wanted a job is staggering to an end this Labor Day weekend.

Only 47.6% of people ages 16 to 24 had jobs in August, the lowest level since the government began keeping track in 1948, the Labor Department said Friday. By comparison, 62.8% of that age group was employed in August 2000.

  • @interwebbist So much for 'hope and change'. I guess we can hope for a change in Nov 2010 and Nov 2012.

  • A Republic Nation of one people under God. Now why is that so difficult for us to do? The answer is simple: Progressives.

  • @geofiles Progressives are the reason we aren't a nation under God?

  • @geofiles I think the main reason is because there is no God.

  • We are the Progressives, and you will be assimilated. Your government and individual distinctiveness will be added to ours. Resistance is futile.

Some of you may have laugh at the above, but truth is stranger than fiction.

  • LAS VEGAS – Police say murder-suicides are on the rise in the Las Vegas area because of a bad economy.

Las Vegas police say there were five murder-suicides from Aug. 7 to Aug. 20 for a total of 10 victims.

In one instance, a housekeeper found Donald and Barbara Romano, both 74, dead at their million-dollar Summerlin home. The couple, heavily involved in the real estate business, had been financially crippled by the recession.

  • One of our friend's dad is a congressman in Mass a (republican) he said 2011 will be much worse than 2010 and people need to only buy what they need and to try to save as much $ as possible. in 2011 there will be much more companies downsizing more foreclosures more government layoffs. be prepared people

  • @willisapril Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.....I'll be really careful. Congressman are lush with knowledge and the ability to forecast the future right?

  • @Dishonor4019 Moron, Google "New Deal", go to wiki and skim down to taxes. There you will find out that taxes weren't lowered, they were raised, you stupid idiot. Now, go educate yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • @hopeurforfreedom i was looking on factcheck at some of that nonsense

  • @isawanangel2 Roosevelt raised taxes in the middle of the depression. Prior to WWII, unemployment was over 17 percent. Roosevelt never got us out of the depression, WWII did, you twerp.

  • @hopeurforfreedom omg..another one..go to google and put in "real clear markets take it from an old socialist, obama isn't one" lol..grow up, you're part of the "dont regulate my ponzi scheme" crowd, aren't you! you are blocked

  • @isawanangel2 I guess you checked out the facts and are embarrassed at your earlier post. Roosevelt never got us out of the Great Depression and he raised taxes through the roof, like Obama wants to do.

  • @hopeurforfreedom you're talking about letting bush tax cuts end for the top 2%, dont have any sympathy for them, doesn't trickle down, well known

  • @isawanangel2 Who employs you moron? Poor people and the middle class do not employ people, the wealthy do. go ahead, do what Roosevelt did and keep this recession/depression alive. Check out the employment record of Roosevelt until WWII ramped up in 1938.

  • @isawanangel2 Free markets made America the Greatest Country in the world. i guess you want to help Obama change that. Obama is over November 2. Then the investigations begin, then he ends up in prison.

  • @hopeurforfreedom you're a lunatic, the deregulation of the baning system allowed fannie and freddie to put us in debt til 2020, none of the nonsense from your crowd has made any sense, for a while, please be quiet, it doesn't match my statements, i doubt it will-ever, stop trying to screw over the schools, the middle class, and the poor, stop blocking unemployment extension, stop the hate filled rants, that would be nice

  • @isawanangel2 Fannie and Freddy are run by Democrats moron. Fannie and Freddy were not touched by regulation, the banks were. Chris dodd and the butt muncher Barney Frank are their protectors.

  • @isawanangel2 He's just an idiot and is probably surrounded by idiots. He's actually more entertaining than anything.

  • @Dishonor4019 yeah that's why he taught constitutional law for years, hey look my new bolen weedeater is defective can you look up the petition for elizabeth warren and quit whining, thanks

  • @isawanangel2 Obama is an economic idiot. He has no idea what he is doing, he leads by ideology, not economics.

  • @Dishonor4019 Please name me one reputable economist that says our current economy is sustainable?

  • @geofiles I hope there isn't one, I wouldn't argue that it is.

  • @willisapril

Your friend's dad is an economic illiterate.

  • @willisapril has your friends dad stopped representing democracy and given up? Should he be replaced? Will he join the politicians that have helped a capitalistic dictatorship to thrive at the expense of democratic citizens? Was he one of the politicians that agreed to put democracy in debt to the tune of $2 trillion dollars to a capitalist dictatorship? Was he one of the politicians that chose debt over innovation? Was he one of the politicians that agreed to sell B2 bomber blueprints?

  • @etellurian the point is people need to learn to economize and not borrow money or run up a credit card they can't pay back. people need to save as much money as they can because they'll only get 6 months of unemployment thats it and social security will probably be raised to 68 or 70. the deficit is way over what it was projected to be this year. and that is what companies are doing tightening the belt.

  • @willisapril Check out the----> Automatic feathering flat Blade Radial Windmill<---- posted here,it can be built with unlimited power used on ships both vertically and unlimitedly horizontally all I get is a pathetic dear John from Obama, Probably the 17% already spent oil tax as reason and making Leonardo designs obsolete by pure innovated design and built only by The Lords Grace. its up to us now.

  • What happened to the "Summer of Jobs" as Biden said would happen? Pass the Stimulus and unemployment will not go above 8%, and this summer, 500,000 jobs per month were going to be created.

  • @runman1271 We must of all gotten that part backwords, for Americans lost 500,000 last month.

  • Raising taxes during a recession will prolong the recession and can even cause a depression. This happened in the 1930's and the economic moron Obama is going to do the same thing Roosevelt did, raise taxes. History is repeating itself. Obama is surprised by the recent slowdown, because he thinks like a Socialist moron. We are heading for dark times again, get ready. The only thing that can stop our decline is for Obama to extend the Bush Tax Cuts and to reverse his stupid HC ideology.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Can't argue with that. Never read anything about taxes being raised during the depression, spending yes taxes no. Cite where you read that. Obama is allowing tax cut to expire for the upper echelon of society simply because the deficit is so vast (inherited by Obama). Surely you don't think taxes are socialist nor can you say the Bush Tax cuts prevented/helped the recession (they were active before and during the beginning of the recession).

  • @Dishonor4019 taxes went through the the roof young man. It prolonged the depression. You didn't take any economics courses in college, did you.

  • @hopeurforfreedom So then you can't cite these taxes "going through roof." I like you throwing around the college word a lot, I'm pursuing a masters degree in mathematics. In college, however, most people learn when writing an argument (or an essay), we cite our "facts." They are otherwise null and void and not considered proof. Better than that, economics courses teach little the history of taxes increases or decreases. You're all over the place old man.

  • @Dishonor4019 Excuse me, when the Bush Tax cuts are not renewed, it is a tax increase. also, ever heard of the Obama healthcare plan? No, you learn of economic history in economics classes, idiot. Obama is repeating the 1930's.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Man, your written english is painful to the eyes. Obama already said (hopefully it's true), that tax cuts for those not in the upper echelon of society will not experience a tax increase. I have heard of the Obama healthcare plan, what about it? Never learned history in any real economics, I learned economic theory and laws as well as applications.

  • @Dishonor4019 Then you didn't go to college.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Your logic is spotless....

  • @Dishonor4019 An economic dumb ass, like Obama, are you.

  • @hopeurforfreedom An economic "dumb ass" ARE you...is that so? You must have double majored in english and philosophy with a minor in economics...I guess I should back off.

  • @Dishonor4019 No, I'm a businessman. Double major in English? Funny. No tax increases for those under 250k? Even funnier. What rock do you reside under? when Bush Tax cuts expire, it hits everyone. If you think only the very wealthy will pay, you are as dumb as Obama. Besides, it is the very wealthy who provide most of the jobs in this country. Raise their taxes, they simply hire fewer people. Roosevelt never figured that out either and we didn't come out of the depression until WWII

  • @hopeurforfreedom So you are saying Obama is being fooled by his own party's tax laws? Businessman eh, must not being doing much business lately I would assume. I do not run nor blindly follow democratic rhetoric or anything like that. If the Bush tax cuts expire and there are across the board tax increases than I'll be on your side. But if they say they want tax cuts for the middle and lower class, I don't see how that would be blocked by Congress.

  • @Dishonor4019 Congress may well extend them for a few Democrats, those who have taken economics courses or know the history of the Great Depression will vote to extend them. Those with exactly no economic background, like Obama will go with ideology over economics.

  • @hopeurforfreedom You're one to talk about ideology, you must not have many friends. Well I take that back, most bars contain people are similar intelligence to yourself.

  • @Dishonor4019 frequent bars do you?

  • @hopeurforfreedom And I'll bet he frequents the gay bars, at that.

  • @Dishonor4019 By the way, what happened to your summer of recovery? Leftist economics is actually morononomics.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Leftist economics? I don't know what that is. Sounds more like ideology than eocnomics...hey according to you you and Obama have a lot in common. I didn't say there would be a summer recovery. Just because I don't agree with all your idiotic comments doesn't make me a Liberal, Democrat or Obama supporter (I've never voted for Obama).

  • @Dishonor4019 So you are just a plain ol' every day dumb ass?

  • @hopeurforfreedom Still waiting for that citation of your Roosevelt claims, you know what citation means right Mr. Businessman?

  • @Dishonor4019 you do know Roosevelt raised taxes, do you not? Read some economic history, moron. I don't do your work for you lazy ass. Proof you are a leftist, always wanting someone else to do your work.

  • @hopeurforfreedom No, when arguing one cites his sources unless a.) it is very common knowledge (like the sky being blue) or b.) you are full of shit. In all the effort and "work" you have put forth to repeat your point including this last message, you could have cited your claim and shut me up. But I know why you won't cite it, cause it isn't true. Roosevelt followed Keynesian economic theory which called for lower taxes and higher spending. I won't go further as I doubt you can read.

  • @Dishonor4019 Roosevelt had lower taxes and higher spending? That isn't Keynesian, you moron. Keynesian is about redistribution of wealth. Higher taxes, higher spending. You didn't take any economics courses, did you. Keynesian doesn't work. Why don't you check out the unemployment rates throughout the 1930's. Without WWII, we would have never gotten out of the Depression. It takes capital for business to hire, high taxes suck out capital. Geeeeeee.......... Dumb ass Socialist.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Keynesian is about redistribution of wealth eh. I would like you to show me one academic source that ever uses that kind of language. Keynesian economics is about using government intervention to prevent unhealthy peaks and troughs on the business cycle. From there you get what's called Expansionary and Contractionary Fiscal Policy. This is beginning to become a pointless debate if you don't even know elementary aspects of...well any subject.

  • @Dishonor4019 I take it you did not take any economics courses while in college. Keynesian economics redistributes wealth, moron. Maybe you can put 2 and 2 together here. When the economy is primed with money, where does government get that money? Go back to school, kid.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Yeah you are helpless. You lack any kind of knowledge base, logic and basic English skills. I have no clue where you got this ridiculous information but it isn't from any reputable source...even non-reputable source spew better garbage than this.

  • @Dishonor4019 All you have to do is google "New Deal Taxes" and read. There is no way you went to college or you could do this on your own. High School drop-out?

  • @hopeurforfreedom The New Deal increased taxes on stuff you have nothing to do with. Go to wikipedia and read the part where it says "severely graduated income tax." Figure out what that statement means and you will see you were making yourself look foolish.

  • @Dishonor4019 Raised taxes on nothing i have to do with? Are you fucking brain dead?

  • @Dishonor4019 Tell me, what economics courses did you take?

  • @Dishonor4019 You didn't take go to college, did you.

  • @Dishonor4019 Hey moron, Income tax rates went from 25% to 79% in 1936. How in the hell do you think they paid for the New Deal? Excise taxes, Inheritance taxes, Wealth tax, almost every tax went up. Just how stupid are you? Moron. If you cannot find this on the net, you are fucking stupid.

  • @Dishonor4019 The tax rate of 25% was in 1932.

  • @Dishonor4019 I'd be embarrassed that your post is on the favorites. Anyone with an economic history background would laugh at it.

  • @hopeurforfreedom The only one who should be embarrassed here is your, though that would actually require you realize how dumb you have been and will continue to be.

  • @Dishonor4019 Proved wrong, weren't you. Funny. Roosevelt raised taxes in a depression and prolonged it until WWII. you look pretty stupid now.

  • @Dishonor4019 Point out where I am wrong, moron.

  • @hopeurforfreedom you seem to be confused with capitalism and laissez faire capitalism, greenspan admitted he was wrong, please do some research

  • @hopeurforfreedom financial regulatory reform, elizabeth warren, etc..

  • @hopeurforfreedom you don't like bush's stimulus, you prefer blackouts and petrowars? how does that work with climate change when most homes were built in the 50's? why dont you help people instead? nothing about your channel interests me so i'm moving on

  • @isawanangel2 now you are switching to climate change? funny.

  • @hopeurforfreedom okay i see you're totally lost, i'll send you some links, look up carter doctrine national energy crisis, of course smartgrid is in the stimulus, we have runaway melting, etc..that's why the push for cleantech, okay

  • @isawanangel2 your channel has nowhere to post, so just search moving beyond the carter doctrine rethinking the us military presence in the persian gulf, take care

  • @isawanangel2 Carter Doctrine? He was an idiot, though he is one step above Barry.

  • @isawanangel2 We have been melting except for the little ice age for over 15,000 years you idiot. Do you have ANY idea how much energy America uses? Windmills and solar panels are a joke, helpful but not ever gonna get us off oil and natural gas. Leftists fear nuclear energy, so it is probably out of the mix.

  • @hopeurforfreedom About Roosevelt raising taxes on everyone, anything you said relating economics, and just about everything else you've said since probably you were born.

  • Even worse, I found out this past week that Obam has used tax payer moeny to help immprove muslim mosques in certain countries around the world.

  • @renodude36 Cite it.

  • @Dishonor4019 go to free republic .com

  • @renodude36 This is right wing website full of b.s. Go read primary sources and see live debates on C-SPAN and make your own opinion. A little knowledge on economics (from an academic source) would be helpful too. Getting information from a left or right winger only guarantees distorted information.

  • He's weakend the Econmy, our National Security, his Foreign Policy, Jobs, Consumer confidence.

  • @renodude36 While this sentence makes little sense, it still is worth a comment. You have yet to show in any fashion how Obama has weakened the economy, national security or otherwise. I agree that he could have and should be doing more and be more willing to put his neck out there but your arguments simply do not hold water.

  • @Dishonor4019 Obama has weakend our National Security by allowing ammisty to Illegals who have lived here illegaly for years. Over half of them who are responcable for the rape, murder, drug trafficing, and kidnapping in the U.S. And by not supporting AZ. to secure our boarder, he's allowing terrorists to continue use Mexico as a coridor into the U.S. 4 terrorist attacks under his watch since last June and he continues to sit on his hands on the issue.

  • @renodude36 The border is a problem, no doubt about it. I agree that all illegal immigrants should be deported. But no president has ever taken a stand against illegal immigration and people only talk about the illegal aspect and not legal aspect of immigration. Reform needs to be all around and not just concentrated on one side of it. Personally I would send the military to guard the border, but Iraq and Afghanistan were more important right?

  • @renodude36

Accusing 50%+ of illegal immigrants of being murders, rapists and drug dealers is nothing short of retarded. Also, no terrorists ever used the Mexico border to gain access to the US, that was a stupid myth churned up after 9/11 which has no basis in fact. If you want to blame someone for weakened national security and increased threat of terror then none other than George W Bush himself is responsible.

  • @vietminh111 You want to know what's retarded? That you fuck nuts are STILL blaming Bush for whats going on. For your information, there was a CONGRESSIONAL LETTER that a radio station in Atlanta, GA. got a hold of! It states, "Terrorist members from the Middle East are flying to south America, traveling to Mexico, learning spanish and then traveling to the U.S boarder where they pay to get smuggled into the U.S,This means that Congress knows about it!! Wake the fuck up ASSHOLE!

  • @vietminh111 And STOP BLAMING BUSH for Obamas fuck ups!! Bush didn't have a 9% unemployment rate two years in a row, Bush in his 8 years hasn't close to spending as much money that Obama will have spent at the end of his only term. Obama has already spent in the first 2 years in his term then Bushes first 4 years. Bush didn't let the President of Mexico come to Washington and lecture Congress on how to handle our Illegal Immigration problem. You need to get your fucking priorities striat!

  • @renodude36 How sad it is to read such racist and ill-informed remarks. Obama is an exceptional President, admired all over the world. Many countries envy you such a dedicated, intelligent Stateman. And you are nostalgic of Bush, the little stupid warrior who wanted to be better than his daddy!!! What a pity.

  • @vietminh111 It not hard to google to see that I am not that far off the 50% mark when it comes to Illegals being responcable for the majority of the crime her in the U.S. You will find that in the grand sceme of things that those who come here from Mexico illegaly to support thier families is just a small percentage compare to those who come here to joing gangs, deal drugs, traffic drugs, IT'S ALL PUBLIC INFORMATION!!! Research and you will see that number of hispanics in our prisions is high!

  • @vietminh111 The number of Americans who have died at the hands of illegals is outragious, just go to immigrations human cost . org and you will see for yourself. The violence is growing and now the drug cartels are resorting to using car bombs, it's only a matter of time before they use them here. Don't you ever challange me again unless your prepared to get schooled!! Rest of this illegals don't even use the money to help thier families, they use thier moeny to fix up thier stupis ass cars!!

  • @vietminh111 Everytime you see a car, or truck thats been slammed to the ground and with dumb ass mexican music blaring out it, with shiny ass rims and a fucked up spray paint job, then you will see where thier over paid, under the table payed jobs, money is going. It's not going to where it should be going, Where you beileve it may be going. Where a majority of them are claiming thier money is going. You need to open you eyes!!

  • Don't bother trying to convince me that this president has done anything but worsen this country's economy. And for everyone who trys to attempt to convince me, remember, thier are 20 others including those who voted for him agree with me. No second term for this president and in November, Democrats are going to lose the majority of the Senate! Mark my words. Oh you can come on here and insult me all you want, but nothing you say to me will prevent the inevitable.

  • @renodudWell, convincing the ignorant has never been a job of mine. I didn't vote for Obama nor do I engage in political football games. I talk issues and to say Obama has not done things to benefit this country is ignorant, absurd and most of all the result of stubbornness. Obama has faults, but saying he has signed America's death certificate makes you sound like an idiot and somebody very misinformed. I could care less who takes oath as long as they have America's actual interests in mind

  • @Dishonor4019 Ignorant? Idiot? If the presidents approval ratings to date is at 41% then that means you calling those responcable that number idiots as well. I seriously doubt you can change that number with that weak argument you just made. The American people see what I see and I'm just expressing the best way I know how. You need to listen to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity for one day. Just one day, and you'll hear the truth.

  • @renodude36 I use to hear them on the radio, they're both idiots or cater their programs to idiots. You don't like the left wing media? You should also be skeptical of the right wing media. I listen/watch both and both sides are either dumb or catering to their inept listeners/watchers. I don't care about Obama's approval. People are not doing well and blame him, nobody would have favorable approval ratings now because nobody would have fixed the economy to anybody's liking by now.

  • And what did they accomplish? They managed to strike fear into the American people into NOT spending thier money, and to rely on the government. The proof is in Obamas approval rating which are now at 41%. Bit by bit, people who voted for Obama are regretting the decision to put him in office. I listen to talk radio everyday, so I hear it, and everyday a Democrat who voted for Obama call to express thier disappointment. Now heres hoping that some of you Obama diciples will do the same thing.

  • @renodude36 Scare people into not spending their money? That doesn't make sense, I spend my money whenever I feel like it and usually enjoy doing it. Talk shows would not be what I consider a well of knowledge or an arena for intelligent people.

  • @Dishonor4019 Ok, the economy is getting worse becasue thier are no jobs being created, so people are being forced to save, no new homes are going up. Materials for building aren't in demand so layoffs accure. This cant be news to you!. Look at the gulf oil spill, the moratorium has cost thousands of oil rig workers to bieing fired or laid off. He's cut NASA funding which cost hundreds of scientists to laid off. Point being, he promised job creation, yet unemployment is at 9% 2 yrs in a row

  • @renodude36 Yup, not good. Can't argue there.

  • There is nothing left to debate. The Democrats have done nothing to create jobs and spent more money for projects that have nothing to do with creating jobs here in America. Home forclosures are on the rise and with unemployment still not improving. Just goes to show that Obama, Palosi, and Reid really don't care what the American people want becuase they have it in thier heads that they already know whats best for us. They have pretty much accomplished what they have set out to do.

  • @renodude36 Yea you must be right, debate closed. The stimulus and "bailouts" did nothing for the economy, no jobs were saved. The money was just used as toilet paper and never was spent and even if it was spent it is magic GOVERNMENT money that isn't the same as regular money. Obama is definitely to blame for the foreclosures, the irresponsible expansionary fiscal and monetary policy of the previous administration had nothing to do with it. Evil Democrats evil ^_^!!!!!!

  • @Dishonor4019 Exactly..You said it. of course, the liberal media wont tell you that he has faild. Explain to me then why each week over 400,000 new unemployment claims are being issued, if the the stimulus had such an effect, why consumer spending hasn't changed. Why the economy is still poor, why family business continue to close. Where is all the money he spending going? You tell me one thing this presient has done where the average U.S citizen has benifited.

  • @renodude36 Liberal media? What does anything I have to say have to do with the "Liberal Media?" I never said stimulus would stop unemployment, etc. I'm saying it helped pad the damage and it going to help raise whatever the trough would have been for the economy. Basic economics. Heath care reform (while it isn't much) will benefit the average american. I'm not a big Obama fan, but I can almost assure you he would be better than most Republicans.

  • @Dishonor4019 Because people tend to listen to the Liberal Media and tend to believe what they report, I apologize if you don't fall into that catagorie. I'm not competely disagreeing with you about the stimulus.Although Unions have made out like fat cats do to all the bail outs and because of this stimulus. I would have loved to see the private sector recieve alot more of that money. But you are far from the truth about the Health Care Obama signed.

  • @renodude36 What's the truth concerning the health care bill Obama signed? Make sure you cite that crap you type (primary source or a secondary source that quotes the primary source).

I think unions should be abolished.

  • @Dishonor4019 A health care system where Americans are forced to pay into. Americans shouldn't have to be made to pay into anything. And I'm definatley not disagreeing on Republicans as well, both sides of the isle, need to resort back to serving the people instead of themselvs.

  • @renodude36 I agree, but not when it comes to health care. Health care is like having police, life and death is the question. We can't have people freeloading. Nobody wants to buy insurance but they want some care if they get cancer or have to go to the E.R. Then what? They become dregs on our economy and liability when if they had insurance (or if we had universal health care), the only question would be how long before he or she recovered.

  • @ankhaton

I think you need to play the "Obama works for Wall Street" blues. He is part of the problem, hate to say this to you because you believe in him.

See who works for him to find out where his loyalties are. Or just judge by his performance so far...

  • @interwebbist Yes I still believe Him You know why ? Is is very High in IQ First : from the giant disaster he heritated from the moron he has concluded he can repair 30% if luck helps. On the 70% one can only do temporary measures. Also and that's what you referringtoo, . . he practizes : "Keep your friends close but your ennemies much closer" I hope he will survive and prevents war against all odds -mankind couildn' survive it. together with the climate - No way
  • What's a sola pena? Good thing this is subtitled LMFAO!

  • Yes we Can! You Puppet for change!, you are just like the rest of the establishment, in creating Wars to bring Pro-globalization governments in power and getting rid of the anti-globalization establishments. Bailing out the Big Banks and letting over 200+ smaller banks fail in this country, while the Federal Reserve and Treasury continue to devalue our dollar, and in the meanwhile your party and the minority, continue to use the word "Terrorism" to take away are rights in this country

  • “Investing in stocks is like being on a tightrope right now,” said Michael Mullaney, who manages $9 billion at Fiduciary Trust Co. in Boston. “The chance that we get economic acceleration is virtually nil. We’re in the midst of a double dip in housing that’s going to weigh heavily in the consumer’s mind. Bernanke’s comments were positive. If he’d said anything less than that, it would be surprising.”

  • With the sales of existing homes in the United States falling by 27% this morning, together with disastrous statistics regarding unemployment and foreclosures, it ought to be obvious that the US economy is in depression. Even experts interviewed on CNBC are beginning to wake up to this obvious fact.

  • The US Treasury has just announced that China’s official holdings of U.S. Treasury securities declined by about $30 billion between April and May of this year, from about $900 billion to some $868 billion. According to the US authorities, this means that Chinese holdings of US government paper are now at the lowest level in the past year. A 2% to 3% decline in a month does not qualify as massive dumping, but simply means that China is in the process of diversification.

  • For every dollar spent on the Apollo program 17 dollars were generated in the economy through commercial spin-offs, despite why the "free market" fantasy people say. The internet was funded by the public for 30 years before it was commercialized, the government has to fund basic research because the private sector wont on anything near the time scale needed.

  • @Air420 I thought ALGORE invented the internet.

  • @Air420 you don't know much about the private sector do you.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Give me one example of the private sector funding a project at the scale of the arpanet for 30 years without a penny of revenue let alone profit. Just one example.

  • @Air420 You don't know much about the private sector. It is the private sector that makes it possible to fund that type of project. Without the private sector, who creates the tax revenue possible for huge research programs, there would be no programs. Understand what the private sector does now?

  • @hopeurforfreedom The private sector makes its profits off of technologies and research provide through public institutions. The vast majority of R&D (and all of long term R&D) has been provide through the state, thats a fact. And its a fact in all developed nations that their R&D is subsidized.

  • @Air420 Who pays for these public institutions? taxes from the private sector. Government does not exist without the private sector!!!!!!!!!! Not all R&D comes from the state either, you moron.

  • @hopeurforfreedom

I assume you're trying to argue that the all mighty PRIVATE SECTOR "holds the leash" of the government right? It's like a huge power struggle right? Rival gangs? What does government exist for? Many reasons yea (law and order, equality, etc.) but what about in the eyes of the PRIVATE SECTOR. Well depends on the industry but they are there to protect their interests and their way of conducting business. Roads, courts, police, and laws in general protect the PRIVATE SECTOR

  • @Dishonor4019 Government would not exist without the private sector you idiot.

  • @hopeurforfreedom Well you definitely sound like a person that gets his point across. I'm convinced. Let me ask you this, is it universal that government would not exist without the PRIVATE SECTOR, or just in countries with capitalist economies? I'll assume the latter. Would the PRIVATE SECTOR then exist without the government?

  • @Dishonor4019 Countries who do not have a Capitalist system eventually fail. The Private sector created our government, to say otherwise is moronic.

  • @hopeurforfreedom To say the PRIVATE SECTOR created anything but profits (their job) is "moronic." It doesn't make sense to say the PRIVATE SECTOR "CREATED" the government. The government was created by the people to govern the land, business or otherwise. I'm not sure what your perception of government and its relationship with the constituents and business is.

  • @Air420

First of all, the private sector doesn't make ALL its profits from technologies and research funded by the government. I mean how much of Walmart's "R&D" subsidized? How about the NFL? Even with subsidies, the fact that the American economy is transforming into a service economy would be enough to show a very small percentage of subsidizes fuel private sector profits. You should probably try not classifying the private sector as the PRIVATE SECTOR. It's more complicated than that.

  • @Dishonor4019 I was referring to specifically industries that require R&D. But since you bring up walmart, google "walmart subsidies" and you'll find more than you can read, and of course the billions that walmart has received from the tax payer were not for R&D. In the case of the NFL google "Taxpayer Subsidies for NFL Stadiums" and check out Dave Zirin, he knows his stuff.

  • @Air420

I was trying to get you to understand that there isn't this 'PRIVATE SECTOR" and "GOVERNMENT" facing off against each other. There is government contribution everywhere in order to protect the industries from follies that would be outside the interest of the state. Walmart and NFL stadiums boost local economies. However, those industries do not REQUIRE subsidies. Subsidies are used as incentives for the government entity in question to accomplish some goal in question.
