  • Lol i had a vid of my ferret eating a house mouse on my channel but i took it off coz i didnt want to freak people out... My one mostly eats ferret food but she loves most veg and fruit (and eggs but they give her the runs) but i give her meat occasionally not too often coz i dont want her to start biting my dad again...

  • Awwwww look they're playing.......*CHOMP* HOLY FUCK!!

  • @Dragonette29 do you have any tips on breeding ferrets ???

  • wat should i do if i have mice but want ferrets 2

cause i dont want them to eat my mice

  • @99nsweat dont get ferrets soon as you let them out of there cage they will smell the mice and kill they are trained hunters you CANT stop them

  • Om nom nom nom

  • HAHA good ferret fuck mice

  • watch it from 1:08 to1:12 and thats nasty and i hope you know ur gonna be kissing that and i hope it eats u ,thats sad and diskusting

  • Just out of curriosity how much better is this than ferret kibble? I know that when I had my bearded dragon I would feed him a pinky every now and then because it was supposed to be good for him. well he lived longer than any other beardie I've had so I'm wondering if feeding this sort of thing is the same consept.

  • Interesting. I've been thinking about feeding my ferrets meat and mice for a while now, but it seems few owners do that.

  • Lol, feeding kibble is just like feeding whole prey people... Ferret kibble is animal meat all ground up into a little meatbrick. That's all it is. But after all that the "poor kibble" has gone through, all the nutrients have been sucked right out of it.

Feeding actual whole prey is much healthier, and ferts just have to be old enough to eat kibble to have whole prey. This baby ferret is prob going to live longer than most if s/he continues to get raw meat and/or whole prey throughout her life.

  • O_O i hope it dids not eat me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • gobbled that up pretty fast :P

  • i don't think ur suppose to feed a baby ferret a dead thing!

  • @fmoua12

Well, it just so seems I've run out of living things to feed to her at the time, lol.

She loved her dead one, though. And so do the kits I'm currently raising! (I've advanced by 3 ferrets since then)

  • @Dragonette29

and living things sorry i just don' t enjoy ferrets eating other animals and i know that there carnivores also it just that i prefer my eating ferret food thats all

  • @fmoua12

Ferret food is derived from other animals. Whole, ground up and dessicated, it makes no matter, it's still a dead animal. It's still meat. I gut, skin and eat rabbits etc., as well, and I prefer preparing them like this myself over buying ready-made morsels in a shop, if truth be told.

I'd feed my ferrets whole prey-only if I could afford it, at least I'd know the animal wasn't tortured or mistreated before someone scraped it from off the floor and processed it.

  • @Dragonette29

I know that but i just rather feed them that and i didn't mean to offend u or anything

  • @fmoua12

In the wild, baby ferrets is fed with dead thing by their mother. Eating meat is just a natural thing for a ferret.

  • @FenrisUlfven

yea ik tat im trying to feed my ferret dead or alive things from now, but i won't probably enjoy watching it though but ya i'm trying

  • @fmoua12

What do you think ferret food is made from? Sunshine and rainbows? It is maid from animals. From meat. Feeding raw diets is 1,000 times better than feeding dried kibble all the time. Unless you are vegetarian, you eat dead things all the time. The only difference is that ferrets can handle it raw. What do you think their wild relatives eat? Certainly not kibble.

  • @Dragonette29

    1:11

    The blood is jelly.

  • Great video thanks for sharing! She is absolutely adorable. What is her name?

  • @egyptianstylez

  • Hmmm.... most people don't understand the concept of what a carnivore is apparently. Anyway, love your ferret!

  • nom nom nom :) I will get two ferrets in September this year and I can't wait! For all you morons that have commented on this video, it is very healthy to give your ferrets newbies.

  • I know i may be a tad late lol but i was just wondering, where you got you'r baby ferret, It's adorable =] and i have been looking for one ever sence august. plllleeaassee help haha

  • nice video. @egyptianstylez is a dick head and doesnt know what the fuck he is talking about. ferrets are awesome. great vid

  • @Dragonette29 How old is she? My ferret, Kitty is almost 3 months old

  • @egyptianstylez if you have problem with ferrets why did you waste your time coming here and commenting? There is not point in trolling around youtube like a jackass cause your pissed off

  • @egyptianstylez Go away!! If you don't like ferrets don't watch ferret videos...... You're the ugly rat!!

  • @egyptianstylez And in east Asia they eat dog. Your point?

  • @egyptianstylez

First, ferrets don't eat garbage, they are mesocarnivores and they eat carrion at worst. Meaning, their diet is probably better than what most of you in Asia and Africa eat.

Second, there is no wild ferrets in Asia and Africa, it just shows how incredibly fucking stupid you are. Not to mention they have as much to do with rodents as you have with an anteater. Maybe you do look like an anteater? Judging by your mannerism and intellect I'd say it's a possibility.

  • @egyptianstylez

If I stepped on you and put some effort into it, it would probably me for the best.

  • @egyptianstylez ferrets are not found in Africa or Asia.... Are you sure you're not talking about mongoose? The only wild ferret in the world is found in the United States....

And domestic ferrets are America's #3 most popular pet after cats and dogs.

  • @satomi325 You may be right about mongoose, but first of all, wild ferrets are actually "weasel" however, because ferrets are actually "domesticated weasel" (is like wolf to dog). And weasel can be found in not just United States, but also MOST parts of the world, including Africa and Asia. Second, according to a list of most popular pets in USA in answers.com, ferret is about 12th. other list say more or less popular than that, but is not even close to 3rd. You need to learn MORE before posting

  • @egyptianstylez Are YOU idiot? Ferrets are nothing but adorable lovable Carnivora. You see them roaming the room and eating out meat in house and apartment! If anyone sees one they cuddle at it just as normal kittens! You must be a moron to kill this thing as a pest.

  • @egyptianstylez they are completely different from rats.

  • @egyptianstylez lol shows what you know. I happen to have 6 actual rats. They are great pets and if that is what ferrets are to be deemed as... well there are worse things to be called.

  • @egyptianstylez lol im nt supriced ur comment was removed, and uv gotten so many bad comments bak. ferrets dnt live in africa ur inbreed retarded mongrel. do sum reserch b4 bitchin on sumbodys loved pets XD

  • @egyptianstylez

They aren't related to rats at all actually. Rats are rodents, ferrets are not. Rats also make wonderful pets. Nice ignorance you got going on there.

  • @egyptianstylez Ferrets aren't from Africa or Asia and they specifically eat small mammals, birds and amphibians- not garbage.

  • she aye baby right??? if so she's evil lol

  • OH MY GOODNESS SHE IS SO CUTE!

  • @IdioticPivots11 if you havent gotten any response yet, google holistic ferret its a forum with lots of information on ferret diet.

  • @emrahh13 My ferret did this for a long time....he would do it so much i thought he was going to break his teeth on the bars, he eventually learned it was unacceptable to freak out but you have to train em to not freak out, never let em out when theyre throwing a fit that was my problem i have a bleeding heart for my babies ya know, but between that and having a larger cage he doesnt even try to slip out when i open the doors, just chills inside until i take him out

  • Fuckers mice have lives to.. Go feed yo carrot

  • @XxXPowerDimaXxX

I suggest you move onto carrot. We'll see how long you can make it. Moron.

  • @XxXPowerDimaXxX Ferrets don't eat carrots, dumbass :/

  • awwe shes such a tidy eater :) unless that was just this time. im surprised no blood got on the blanket. ive seen some pretty messy ferrets with their live feed >.<

  • @emrahh13 That means your ferret is depressed and bored. A ferret doesn't belong in a cage. Get him out more and get him a partner.

  • is it harder to feed them whole prey & raw, than to just keep them on kibble?

i am gonna make the switch to whole prey & raw, real soon.
