Clever boy! you honestly discovered something; Yet..leave it as it is; you are over excited; everyone do so when they learn new things for the first time in their live. You aren't an an exception. As time passes, you will, also, learn more than this and you will begin to precipitate down to bottom instead of displaying yourself at the top of water Cool baby!
eegretki24, Hello Play back again and listen carefully... the audio says impure blood is REPRESENTED with BLUE color....Please check the word represent..in the dictionary. By the way...Good that you did not write as anything appearing blue absorbs rest 6 colors and transmits only the wave length of the blue color. Ha ha ha. Thank God! that you didn't know that. mmm mmm
The terms atrium and auricle are often interchanged in second level education, however not in third level. In strict anatomical terms, atria and the auricles are not synonymous. The auricles are rough-walled muscular pouches that are attached to the atria; they are in fact embryological remnants (before incorporation of pulmonary veins and right horn of sinus venosus for left and right atria respectively), the function of which in adults is debatable.
Thank you so much for making this video, I'm a 4th year nursing student, studying for my RN exam in June, and the heart has always confused me. Your video helps a lot! I think I'll watch this a few more times just to make sure I fully understand.
Atrium and Auricle refer to the same! Please, before writing comments, at least a dictionary you could have checked with. Next time do not repeat the same mistake. However thanks for your comments, because I now came to know there are people who do not know that the auricle and the atrium refer to the same.
Hi. The top two chambers are not called auricles. They are atria; the left atrium, and right atrium, which then send blood to the left and right ventricles, respectively. Each atrium DOES, however possess an auricle which serve as storage for blood, if ever needed (sympathetic affects on the heart which increase blood pressure).
Hello LonelyJeremy, Auricle and Atrium refer to the same. AURICLE appears to be more authentic than the loosely used ATRIUM as indicated in the dictionary
TIM thaks for your compliments. I drew myself on paint brush. Tell me some areas that are difficult for you I will be glad to simplify with diagrams and little explanation. "One good and rightly presented picture speaks onemillion words to a reader"...I greatly believe in that.
Sure didn't sound like "heart" to me on the opening line.

"Blue blood" is not blue. It appears blue because of the collagen in veins that reflects a blue pigment in the light.
*When you get blood taken in a vacuum tube it is not exposed to oxygen and it is still red.

Hello Virgen79
There are many ways to increase volume of a video clip in youtube.
Search in google by typing this line in quotes:
``How do i increase the volume of a video clip from youtube``
If you don`t use a head phone then the pronunciation would be unclear because of the lower volume. Also see others comments here.
