Probably a "she" mantis though. The females eat the males after mating. I forget why, but I think it has something to do with ensuring the female has vital nutrients.

DUDE you should of picked it up... theyre amazing and one of the friendliest critters ever (although they may look scary). I used to collect them when I was little and they would just hang out on my hand and arm and just clean themselves
