@omaha763 Hi David. I'm not the best person for that, I only play rush tournaments now and the advice in this video is somewhat dated since HEM/PT track it now. The best advice I can give would be to join a training site like CardRunners or DeucesCracked and watch as many videos as you can. Good luck!

the best way to run up your roll. 3x and 4x PF raises, 3/4 pot bet on flop. that variation gives u all the info, if ur oponents are calling you after the flop u must put them on a STRONG hand that they are whiling to put a decent amount in the middle with. if u have the monster take advantage of this knowledge and if not give up or use your read to make the best move.

dude thanks for this strategy. its unbelievable how many pots u can win without even seeing a flop. if ur a complete beginner, i would wait until uve got a little experience with post flop play to try this because ur in a lot of weird situations with junk hands, but such is the case with a loose-aggressive style anyway. this is the way to go with rush poker, period.

I was playing this way on purpose, taking advantage of all of the people who think that ABC is the way to play rush. While this style may be too loose, especially now that HUD"s work - I still think that playing tight and waiting for aces is not optimal (though it may be profitable).

Since you rarely play with the same people you can just bet anything and people will ASSUME you've hit something and just fold.

Nitting it up is a much better strategy for Rush poker imo. Also calling 3bets with A4s OOP just isn't gunna win you money whether its a rush table or not.

The main adjustment I've noticed from fish is the postflop spew. The A4 hand you win right at the beginning of this video is a prime example of it, this is were our edge can really be defined by winning these $200 pots they spew their stacks into rather than the $1.50 we may occasionally win when we raise 8-6s from UTG.

It is far more important to have good hands we can call with when our opponents shove with 77 on a A4T board.

Plus no-one will notice us nitting up and we'll get paid off.

Nice video. Believe it or not, this isn't entirely readless poker. Even though PT and HEM can't follow it, you're still able to take notes on players using the FTP note feature. I usually note down what their preflop bet sizes are, post flop tendencies, what they fold on. Works well in the lower limits, one or two tabling. Any more than that and note taking becomes impossible due to the sheer speed of the tables.

in the lower stakes there's like 1500 ppl in a group at a time...it's very unlikely you would run into a player enough to get a read on them..and with the quick fold you can see a ton of hands per hour...do you think just playin top ten hands would work?

As the old saying goes, 'there is more than one way to skin a cat' - your method is exactly what the fish are going to be doing. Folding until they have what they consider to be a good hand. I like to do whatever the opposite of the fish do.

I haven't played anything lower but the whole concept is that players don't have any way to adjust to your super aggressive style because they have no history with you. The more tables and players in the pool, the better this works. So theoretically it would work better at the lower stakes.

Right about $0.10 per hand so far, which is 5ptbb/100. That seems like it would be a sustainable rate for a profitable LAG style.

4-tabling you can get in 1500-2000 hands per hour - so thats $150-200 per hour - add to that $25+ per hour in rakeback....
