The problem is the estimate of the drop as you can see in so many pictures or videos that there so may excellent designs but most of it have an overhang of the tip of the skirting. Especially if there are a lot of designs and colors used. The good ones in my own opinion is the one who can control the skirting drop or edges that it will not go over the floor.

Advantage is a skirter can create thousands of designs it is a skies is the limit depending of the imagination and artistry of the skirter. The good ones is the one who can effectively control the drop. Designs are not a problem once an individual get into the zone.

If you are in Untied States I can show you or do it for you. I’d just found your query very late since it is dated five months ago. I was once teaching these artistic “Ornate Skirting” years back on 1980’s in the first five star hotel in Cebu City, Philippines. I showed this all over the world wherever I am. Last two stints was on board Costa Victoria and Costa Atlantica of Costa Cruise Lines. Then three times in “Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Atlanta’ last 2007.

They're just simple Christmas lights. (The small kind that do not get hot.) The lights this wedding used are the 'icicle' lights you usually see lining people's roofs in the winter. Thank you!

Nope! Some caterers I've worked with still use pins, but you have to be careful not to damage the linen.

Only Pinoys used seamstress pins and artistic designes or ornate designes. They have simple ones due to time constraints. Unlike in our country that we have the opportunity to do it slowly and artistic.
