Yes we are turning into a police state. You can be detained as an American until u prove status, and thanks to Bush, you can even be accused as a terrorist which limits your rights, even before you have been found guilty or whether your guilty or not. Americans have already been tortured by their own Government. For the law to be constitutional, the police would have to stop every single citizen in Arizona (no matter what color) and question them. That's just not realistic. So, the law isn't fair.
