I stopped playing video games almost 2 years ago..but I have a massive old skool collection from 1986 and up. Everything from original NES,SNES, Turbografx 16/Cd,(even the handheld turbografx),Saturn...well you get the idea. I was really into playing and collecting. Alas fatherhood put an end to it. I love watching your vids though! Thanks.
So apparently my wife noticed my re interest in games(something about watching too many game videos on youtube) and bought me a DS today. If you own one please feel free to suggest a few titles.I am grossly out of the loop these days.
A DS, eh? Well, it depends on which genres interest you the most. There's a lot of great DS titles out there. You could try out a game from the Phoenix Wright series if you like solving crimes, as a defense attorney! If you prefer platformers, there's quite many to choose from, but I would definitely recommend getting New Super Mario Bros., or maybe if you wanted a game that's way more challenging, then I suggest Contra 4 for one.
So anyway, if you wanna find out games from a specific genre, just ask me and I'll check what the DS has, or if you wanna browse what games the DS has to offer, you could visit Wikipedia and simply type "List of Nintendo DS games" on the search bar.
1st comment didn't register so here goes again. I generally played..well anything.Platformers(Contra,Mega Man,Metal Slug, etc.),RPG's(Some FF,Mana,Lunar(old skool versions PS&Sega CD)Zelda)space shooters(Ikaruga,Borderdown). Mind you this is just off the top of my head. Upon recommendations I picked up Super Mario Bros.,latest Castlevania,Legend of Kage 2 and Metal Slug 7. Contra 4 is scarce(discontinued in the U.S)but can be found online I'm told.
My younger brother actually recommended the Phoenix Wright series! Also I was told to check out Mega Man ZX.I actually dusted off the Wii and pulled that out of retirement as well(never picked up a PS3 or XBOX 360).One day I'll get around to setting up the virtual console and seeing practically every game I already own on there.Ironically this entire conversation started off about Neutopia, whom my brother reminded me that he sold my complete version on ebay last spring.I'm rabbling now.THANK YOU!
Played this game years ago and haven't been able to forget the music yet. Epic!

This game looks like a lot of fun. I've been playing Neutopia II for a while.
Princess Aurora's character design is... weird.
