  • what's the name of the song on this video

  • The good thing is that I am doing Honor Guard at my high school. We have the Air Force JROTC. I can march but I have a lot of training to do if I'm going to do this.

  • 1st rule of Silver Eagles Drill Team: NEVER talk about SEDT.

  • that gave me chills

  • thats just a sample of the AMERICAN military discipline USAF all the way USA USA USA!!

  • Hoorah for AF HG.!!! :))

  • I wish these guys carried a sword, that would sooooooooooo complete the uniform

  • I want to do this(:

  • I am in charge of a CAP Color Guard, I only wish mine would be like that, I would love to see that. Maybe We should listen to our leaders! :D

  • actually most of dont care who the fuck they are doing a ceremony for they just want to get the fucking job done, most of them hate this job.

  • Air Force Honor Guard rocks!!!! Special class of military. I used to train CAP Color Guard & was very fortunate to be able to work with the USAF Honor Guard. This is what CAP Cadets should strive to be, it can be done.......

  • These special people represent our country all over the world. They are the first ones to welcome foreign dignitaries when they arrive. They honor their fallen comrades with dignity. It's more than just a job to them, it's an honor & a privilege they treasure. Their precision and attention to detail is incredible. Watching them makes me proud to be an American.

Watch the videos of honor guards from other nations. There's no comparison. Our precision and uniformity stand out. We win hands down.

  • today is literally my first day of honor guard

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser You are mindless.

  • @huntercoolican bitch fuck you. the cannon fodder ought to be used in cannons, not singing and dancing like Hajis in a desert with toys guns. What does all this bullshit prove. Any of these dudes ever seen combat?

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser You should really calm yourself down. Randomly calling people bitches makes you look trashy.

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser This is a special duty, not a primary AFSC (mos). These guys could very well see, or could very well have seen combat. Most honor guard tours only last a few years, after which they either cross train into another AFSC or go back to their original AFSC's. Its not about being a mindless drone or proving anything.

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser they do thins to honor the death of all our troop

  • WHAT SONG IS THIS???????

  • i will be leaving to texas in june where ill be security forces and then cross train into combat controller

  • That..was awesome!!

  • air force keeps their shit looking fresh, i would have joined usaf but the marine corps is just to bad ass to pass up. going to paris island in few months

  • @ccolon225 I couldn't agree more

  • sheep fucks fighting for corporations

  • ok, that shit was STUPID clean.

and as someone who did AFJROTC in high school, i KNOW they put countless HOURS upon HOURS to be able to do this.

i am honored to even watch this video!

  • @bubbacouture318 I'm in AFJROTC right now and the other drill team members look at me for help with rifle spinning, this makes me look like some 3 year old with how clean it is

  • @rsbandbtaggerung rifle spinning is a waste of time.

  • @rsbandbtaggerung I just joined it at a cross-town school in my area, I'm hoping to be able to join VHG.

Doubt I'll ever be that precise, but one can dream, lol.

  • i dont want to be disrespectful in any way by this comment, but can someone tell me what the point of the honor guard is?

  • @RandomSpeakage the primary purpose of honor guard is that we give honors to those who served during funerlas. Funerls for our vets, retirees, and activce duty who are KIA get military honors provide by our honor guard. Thats is our main purpose, Honor guard funerals take priority to all things we do besides real world duty.

  • @pgwar22 Thanks man

  • @RandomSpeakage here is a better reason fm a marine: To uphold the sacred traditions of the United States Marine Corps. To represent the core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. To maintain discipline and standardization of drill commands by instilling habits of precision and response to an order , which will also facilitate a commander or non-commissioned officer to move his or her unit from one place to another. To render honors, preserve tradition, and to stimulate Esprit de Corps

  • wow go air force..... and i am in the air force. but, the marines are very good as well and there uniform is flawless i love any member of the air force and other military branch we are all one if there is competition lets make it friendly...

  • i personally am a big fan of the silent drill platoon as well but you got to give respect where it is due

  • i like the marines one better :/

  • No combat experience. Marching band.....

  • with honor comes respect

if you cant trust someone you cant respect them

    for guys and gals alike

  • Holy Shit Thats BADASS! GO USAF!

  • WOW!!! :D!!! Civil Air Patrol color guard sucks compaired to this.

  • @Seashepherdfan Well, duh! The Air Force Honor Guard practices from 0700 - 1800! They get paid to do this and receive excellent instruction. CAP is volunteer, the cadets are primarily teenagers, and nobody in the organization has an adequate system to teach standardized exhibition drill. There may be pockets of competence here and there, but on the whole, they are destined to suck. I am active duty Air Force and attended the CAP Honor Guard Academy a few years ago.

  • @Seashepherdfan Dude, you have no idea who you insulted. Civil Air Patrol is USAF's auxilary. There are many senior members and cadets you just insulted. I'm a Civil Air Patrol member. You are a disgrace. Basically you insulted the Air Force. I can't believe you live in America.

  • @GamersUnitedX that wasn't an insult you idiot, I'm in cap aswell. He (who is me) was just saying that these honorable service members do such a great job training 10 hrs a day vs the 1 hr a day. Go to mexico you retard.

  • @huntercoolican Lmao. You go to mexico. This isnt worth my time to finding with a dumbass like you so. Forget you.

  • @huntercoolican >.> You should of made the comment more clearly. Like Civil Air Patrol's color guard is good but the Air Force's is great as well. >.>

  • @Seashepherdfan The United States Air Force Civil Auxiliary Department is a rep basically. The Civil Air Patrol is a Representation of the Air Force, Hell there are some member of CAP, that served in the USAF. So in 2 words: FUCK-YOU!!!!!!

  • @Seashepherdfan Heh, tell that to my squadron. I graduated from the CAP Honor Guard Academy which was led by the Air Force Honor Guard, and when I go back to my squadron and see them perform rifle maneuvers, I just want to puke.

    Yeah, it's that bad.

But I love the Honor Guard with all my heart, and it instills a sense of patriotism that you can't get from too many other places. God Bless the Air Force and God Bless the United States of America.

  • @Seashepherdfan HEY! I'M IN CAP! WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING MISTER!

    I agree. It's true :D

  • @gasman681 Silly chairforce.

  • @gasman681 you evidently do not know anything about the air force. The air force is probably one of the main reasons why we win wars. The spec ops community in the AF is very small but its the reason why victories are made, they deliver air power to the field to save the grunts on the ground. They are dedicated to what they do so please dont make any dumb comments like that again

  • @MrTreyGunner hey i make fun cuz i can..besides i served in the army so sit down..

  • I am proud of you, it's beautiful. You use most of the products that we sell in Bee Kay Parade Equipment.

  • Also if you haven't thought about our freedom and the Military you have got a BIG problem.

  • I will always HONOR the USAF because my friend's dad and step dad and my Uncle are and were in the USAF.

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeee i love the military air force is my fav branch nice my i am in civil air patrol my kernel was in honor guard shocking drill i wanna do that someday cross into the blue

  • @AerrowsGirl368 it's not "kernel" it's Colonel

  • WOW! So proud of our American troops - May the Lord bless and protect them today and forever! God Bless America.

  • cool

  • Legal...quanto tempo será que eles demoraram para aprender a coreografia?

  • Hoorah!! :P

  • Woo Scott AFB and Dupo High School! Gotta love the Air Force!

  • I'm sorry if this question is ignorant in any way but, can officers be in the drill team? Just wondering, because I'm thinking of joining ROTC but I would really love to one day try out for the drill team. It would be an honor. Thank you :)

  • eiram92 - officers cannot be IN the drill but they can CALL the drill. this to say, an officer would be the person in charge of the drill and would carry the sabre.

  • @colors1387 Aw :( haha but it's still cool..thank you for the reply!

  • good luck. it is the COOLEST job.

  • @colors1387 Awesome thank you very much. :)

  • you're welcome and good luck.

  • AFROTC has a drill team that you can participate in while enrolled, but officers only lead it, enlisted represent it and the profession of arms.

  • Thank you :)

  • man i love the air force

  • Can an officer be on the Honor Guard?

  • yes, there are officers in the Honor Guard, very few though. lately the Drill Team flight leader have been at the rank of Captain, there's two of them that i know of

  • aw it be schweet if they could come to my school...

  • Ive done my share of Honors and Patriots but these guys are the best! Props to the Elite Honor Guard! USAF loves you guys! Your the best and the utmost of military bearing, its a peace of art, really!

  • TOTAL WOW. At the end I saw these guys are from Scott Air Force Base near me.

  • holy shit stain. impressive

  • i have never seen anything as impressive as this from british forces. NO way is there drill as impressive as this. This looks mega hard

  • no u dont have to learn how to spin to fly u do however need to get a bachelors degree and get commisioned as an officer and no it doesnt take ages to learn when i was in high school i learned how to spin in a matter of weeks

  • that spinning the weapons looks quite difficults and doesnt look easy. In order to become a pilot in the usaf have you got te be able to do this spinning the gun trick. that must take ages to learn properly

  • wtf??? u know nothing haha there are no pilots in the honor guard.. i would know im IN the air force honor guard

  • 5/5 stars from this USAF Veteran! Aim High!!

  • Airforce and Marine corps drill teams are amazing

  • DAM CRAZY SHIT

  • I'm in ROTC honorguard and these guys are beyond beast

  • theyre over 9000

  • Awesome!

  • ok I'm giving this 5 stars and I'm going to start hangout at Pope AFB just to see them do that!

  • you would have to come to BOLLING AFB thats where we're stationed

  • I would but pope is down the road I'm shure they do the same thinng there

  • what song is playing in the video

  • This gives Badass a whole new Definition

    USAF FTW

  • eh, isnt that 'honour'?

  • Depends on if it's being spelled in American or British English.

  • BTW, I am an Air Force veteran with over 20 years of service and have served in special operations as a Combat Controller. Before you comment, make sure you know what you are talking about and have at least SOME knowledge and first hand experience in what the REAL purpose of an organization is about!

  • @MrTetsujin what does a combat controller do?

  • @TheActionGuy1

They are qualified air traffic controllers who deploy into combat zones and manage air operations like air strikes, reconnaissance and other air support for gorund forces. The training is extremely hard and is similar to that of the Navy SEALs, Air Force Pararescue and other special operations units.

  • @TheActionGuy1

They are qualified air traffic controllers who deploy into combat zones and manage air operations like air strikes, reconnaissance and other air support for ground forces. The training is extremely hard and is similar to that of the Navy SEALs, Air Force Pararescue and other special operations units.

  • @MrTetsujin You have my utmost respect. You, TACP, and Pararescue are among the most unsung of heroes. Most people don't have a clue of what is required in training and deployed. I would have loved to be any one of the three but it was not an option for me. I was an aircraft weapons specialist for the A-10 and F-16. I think about people like you all the time but memorial day brings a strong sense of gratitude. Thank you for your service to our country,

  • @MrTetsujin I'm really thinking about joining air force to become a Combat Controller. Any advice?

  • @Caf33naddikZ DO IT. PARARESCUE COMBAT CONTROL WHO WE ARE!

  • @Caf33naddikZ Don't get shot.

  • @MrTetsujin Think you can tell me a little about the CCT? I plan on doing that when i enlist, well i think i am, i don't know how everything goes down.

  • Military service members represent a long and proud heritage. This is a display of that heritage and tradition and is used for recruitment, public relations and an example of commitment. Instead of always bashing the military, find out what they do when they are not protecting your right and freedom to show your ignorance and act like a fool.

  • Don't forget those who are forced to do it

  • Nice

  • Wow, that's pretty low. Where were any of our armed forces on 9/11? Oh yeah, that's right, we were attacked by surprise. Before you blame the military for what happened that day why don't you do some research into what the government agencies (namely the FBI) were doing about it at that time. If anyone screwed up it was the government bureaucracy. The military is efficient and decisive in obtaining their objectives. The government...not so much.

  • You mean like Pear Harbor? What does NORAD stand for and how much does it cost the American tax payer. Who is conducting the aerosol operations?

  • @adamjohnwest Too bad the military IS the federal GOVERNMENT lol

  • @darcskies777 too bad scumbags ruin video's about the USAF honor guard with 9/11 conspiracies.

  • @adamjohnwest You just blamed the Military your self! "ouch"

  • Fuck you

  • its all a matter of looking good for the public but really the military has a strong tradition of honor and duty... even the air force pay respect to the dead etc. thats why the air force has an honor guard

  • Thats all very pretty but wtf good is it going to do during a war, especially since their the airforce using PLANES.

    Practice something useful please!

  • its all about discipline.

  • well this is all for recruitment purposes

  • thats gonna be me but ima have a gold bar on ma blazer

  • sorry no butter bars allowed in the honor guard and you CERTAINLY wont be spinning rifles hate to break it to ya

  • im a girl and in afjrotc what is the airforce and basic training like?

  • easy

  • Harder than the Army, easier than the Marines for sure.

  • tprinceballa. harder than the army, MUCH harder and far more dangerous than the marines, for sure.

  • word u in jrotc wats ur unit cause i wanna move out of nyc to florida

  • Comment removed

  • depends on your job

  • you sound like a newbie, .. just do it, then you won't have to make another choice for 4-6 years. get pregnant and married so you can move off base when you're still an airman. officers make more money but are goobers.

  • Today was my first day in Honor Guard at Whiteman AFB. I've enjoyed my service in the AF so far. Met a lot of good people through it. Good luck!

  • *BASE honor guard not the same pal

  • Did I ever say it was? lol typical to jump down someones throat and having NO clue on what they are talking about. All i said was I enjoy it and met good people. So thanks for wasting my time reading a non educated comment...PAL..

  • With all due respect, I salute everything that involves the military. I like the way the Air Force guards did those moves! I wonder if there is something like this in the Malaysian Air Force. But unfortunately the Malaysian Air Force does not do honour guards. They just march. Tally ho! (what does 'tally ho' means?)

  • tally ho was used to urge hounds on during a fox hunt.

  • those are some cool tricks but if thats your idea of honor then you need to by yourself a dictionary. choreographed marching and twirling guns isn't honor...

  • My family has all served in the Army or Marine Infantry but they all tell me they love the Air Force. I plan on being the first officer in the fam when i join.

  • Wish you the best of luck...r u in ROTC?

  • Thanks! but no, im in the JROTC. Too young for THE ROTC. But I plan on going to a college that does.

  • Nice so I'm in JROTC to, goin to UCF. where you goin?

  • UCF? Nice. I still have a little to go but im aiming for the University of Illinois at Chicago. They have Army ROTC. Do they have a ROTC over at UCF and which Rotc program are you in (AFROTC NROTC ARMY)?

  • First of all sorry for replying so late, i was at a friends house for a couple days lol, and yes UCF dose have AFROTC im guessing UOI also has AF?

  • UIC has Army ROTC. Im still split between going Army Infantry like my family members or being a trailblazer in the Air Force as a Security Forces member. You can transfer military branches after ROTC right? Cuz I know ppl do that with the military academies. What are you going for in the AF?

  • I think you can but i think you can only become an officer in the branch you went into ROTC for, but i'm not entirely sure, you'll have to look into that, as for me I'm plan on going into Aerospace Engineering.

  • Have fun with that lol. I talk to Security Forces people all the time, talk about hating their jobs...

  • i've heard about that they say its the most boring job theyve ever had

  • sorry i put the reply as a comment

  • Good Luck and thanks for your service

  • What's the song called?

  • this is the best airforce honor guard video i have ever seen. plus, im going to b in the af honor guard one day.

  • Man i hope to be on this team one day.

  • I love honor guard, it's funnnn~~

    [I'm in JROTC though =3]

  • This is perfection

this is excellence in all we do

  • USMC Silent drill platoon will own these guys anyday

  • er no

  • uh yes. the USMC silent drill platoon is way better than the USAF honor guard. no disrespect 2 USAF

  • well "psycho"... with no disrespect to the USMC drill platoon, you are wrong in your analogy. The USMC drill platoon is NOT silent. The members rely on the sounds they create in every movement to enhance their counting ability which gives them the synchronicity you appreciate. So, "uh no" psycho. UNLESS you are referring to the music playing here on youTube in the background! haha

  • Also, The USAF Honor Guard drill team has been deemed the best. Which is why they do not compete (sp?) at the annual Armed Forces drill team competition. Only the Army, Marines, and Coast Guard drill teams compete. Or at least that is what i read up on. I wouldn't doubt it is right though.

  • oh, well that proved it cock masterson.

  • and also the air force drill team uses 11 pound rifles marines use 4 pounds GET ON OUR LEVEL

  • ARE YOU KIDDING ME roflmfao marines drop their rifles ALL THE TIME!!!! hahahaha they cant even do the guantlet and when they try to do it it looks HORRIBLE compared to air force.. look up drill team mistakes and youll see marines first lmao!!! hahaha

  • pscho1008 they've been owned by the A.F. drill for the last few years now. usmc= way better? hmmmm.

  • dt, When you sign up for the military, you are given an MOS which is a designation for your particular military duty. If you volunteer for additional special duty (Drill Team), you still are required to maintain your military MOS. By the way were you in the military? If you were, then you know that ALL military are required to answer the call when needed. If you weren't, thank the next man/woman you see in uniform for their service protecting us all.

    Chief Mac

  • hell yeah dude, i leave in 4 months

  • So....honor is defined by spinning rifles? I don't see how spinning rifles are a definition of anything...

I like the USAF Honor Guard's shows, but I don't understand this video.

  • no spinning rifles is not the definition of honor but the precision it takes to do these moves takes time dedication practice and respect all coming back to honor

  • The USAF HG serves the perpose of recruting and retention, as well as to teach fellow airmen about what it means to be a leader, and what airmnship is. They personify the perpose of the USAF through precision, dedication, practice, and teamwork. The HG preforms the demonstration, then meets the audiance, and talks to them about the USAF.

  • DT, Did you notice the medal they were wearing? They are the NATIONAL DEFENCE RIBBON. That says it all. Chief Mac

  • That doesn't say it all. Honour Guards don't honour themselves. They're called out when honour and respect is to be paid to others: visiting heads of state, repatriations, etc. Spinning a rifle isn't about honour, spinning a rifle is about recruiting. So when you say: "This is our definition" and then show spinning rifles...you haven't defined honour.

I'm not knocking the guard, I'm knocking the verbage of the video.

  • I understand where you're coming from. However, would you rather see us taking a member to his or her grave, or would you rather see something put on for show, such as the Drill Team?

  • omg... before you can even be on the drill team u have to be in the regular honor guard first and do your time in arlington national cemetery honoring our fallen heroes.. please stop with the ignorant comments

  • You missed my point. Spinning rifles have nothing to do with honour, so the video makes no sense. I'm not insulting the AF Honor Guard, I'm saying the video's title is dumb. "This is how we define honor *twirling rifles*". That'd be like me making a video saying "This is how I define government *video of a squirrel running around*" Spinning rifles are NOT a definition of Honor, hence the video is silly.

PS. My post was months old. No reason to go digging it up.

  • We are all on the same side!!!! What the hell?? I'm a retired combat sailor. (Not by my choice). I can't do it anymore. These men can. =Stefan=

  • is it me or does anyone else like this better usmc drill team? i mean the routines... the uniform could do bette in my opinion...

  • What rifles do the honor guard use?

  • M1 with fixed bayanets

  • OOORAH!! CAN BE FOR EVERYBODY!! Except The Sailor who betrayed his country, Abu Jihaad by giving ship movements away to the enemy. He got just 10 years in a time of War. I say let the Honor Guard use bayonets on his ass!!

  • wouldnt the navy bayonet his ass

  • And who said only the Marine Corps gets all the action? Air Force Forever I tell ya.

  • thats funny your name is communist.
