  • I consider myself to be Omnitheist now, but I was raised as a Baha'i, and everything about it, the roots, the teachings, the scriptures, the songs, are beautiful. Proud to have been raised and educated on it.

  • OMG, my heart stops when I see the hidden beauty of Abdulbaha's.<3<3<3

  • OMG. My heart stops when I look at the hidden beauty of Abdulbaha's. <3 <3<3

  • Magical! Narges Nouhnejahd sings this song so perfectly, it is one of the most wonderful things I have ever heard.

  • peace

  • Beautiful hymn. I am so glad I understand Persian and can feel the words and the tune. I'm sure non-Persian speaking people can feel it too.

  • i love the photos beautiful

  • Thank you for this video! Greetings from Poland.

  • in no eyes you can see the calmness visible in in abdul-baha's eyes

  • @1986bahai I see a calm in his eyes.. I also see the worry in his eyes because he knows the trouble and tribulation that we humans create for oursrlves. I try to follow one simple statement that Abdul-baha made, "Offend no one and be offended by no one." A simple phrase to guide our lives. Ya Baha'u'l-Abhá

  • beautiful.

  • I need you more than every day, more than any time. Help me out abdulbaha.

  • At :25 It looks like Shoghi Effendi has blue Eyes! At 1:15 Abdul Baha's eyes are just so full of love and glory.

  • @Keallei Yes he had blue eyes! Cool huh :)

  • This is great, very beautiful. If you like this you may enjoy my video of my reading of a Bahai prayer. It is on my page, thank you

  • This is a beautiful song. Ofarim xox from New Zealand

  • @negin1348 I can see your comments are sincere and heart-felt. It is clear that you love the Baha'i Faith, but it is not clear from your comments whether you are a Baha'i or not. If are not a Baha'i and you want to find out more, you can inquire about Baha'i firesides either in the city you live in, or in a close by major city. Look, if it is easier for you to write your comments in Persian, then do so and I will reply to you.

  • @cameronmoj Thanks for your nice mesg! I mentioned that I wish I was born as a BAHAI! and also I said that I am not a memebr of this faith of glory yet! I hope so one day I can do service to all you beloved ones! With so much love and good wishes for you and all beloved ones!May bejeweled with HIS LOVE!

  • I cannot stop myself not to comment! As this video makes me again full of HIS LOVE! Once when I saw Him, His hollines' robe was in brown color and I could see Pashimneh Rob! It was more real than SUNLIGHT!

:(:( Wish one day I can tell to the world!

First time when I found this glory of Truth! I wanted to open the windows and shutting and call people out HELLO TRUTH IS HIM!TRUTH IS BAHAI FAITH!

I cry and cry like the ocean! IT was Ashora NOON at 12 in Noroowz :(:(

  • I am not a bahai member, but I have seen HIM many times! Bahai faith is al about Truth! Wish we persian became all BAHAI and we never face such these negative energy that now we are invloved! Abdu'l Baha dastam Begir! Please help my people find you and your path to glory! And we can have free LAND! A holy land that YOU were Born!

    ABDU'lBAHA DASTAM BEGIR :(

  • @negin1348 My dear friend, we Baha'is has been praying for Iran and the Iranian people. We Baha'is also need your help in spreading spiritual teachings to humanity.

Sought out the Baha'i communities in whatever area/place you are and join them in their work in whatever capacity you can to spread the ANSWER and solution to this ailing world. God bless you and will remember you in my prayers.

  • @carolbarissery thanks for your lovely mesg! Always need your prayers and blessing! I hope so one day I can do my best for this faith of glory! You pray for me...and one day I will talk about whatever I have found! May bejelewed with HIS LOVE!

  • @MrHolyGoat Your comment is not totally clear, but I will try to answer you. All Baha'i Prayers are addressed to God. Baha'is seek help from God, through Baha'u'llah, the Bab, or Abdu'l-Baha. It is what all Prophets have taught. We seek help from God through the Prophets. We cannot communicate directly with God. We can only communicate with God through the Words of the Prophets.

  • @cameronmoj Wish I could born as Bahai :( you are different people! How silly people think British made such glory while British people are so strong people and cannot change eassily thir mind withs trong wills and we can see how much they respect HIM!SO they belive by their pure heart! I only pray we be free again one day and we can follwo whataver our heart lead to!

  • @linbowe You are very kind. Thankyou. It is, however, essential from a Religious point of view to use capital letters in reference to God, Holy Persons and other certain specific words which are in reference to Them. God bless you.

  • No need to apologise, mention of him is enough, the heart is not case sensitive.

  • When I wrote the word "his" in reference to Abdu'l-Baha, I should have used a capital "H". This is because when we refer to Prophets of God or indeed to Abdu'l-Baha as the Centre of the Covenant, we should always use capital letters. Sorry about that :(

  • There is no greater example for our lives than the way Abdu'l-Baha lived his life. Read Vinyettes from the life of Abdu'l-Baha.

  • Hello friend,

May I have the link to the picture of Abdu'l-baha on 1:15.

    Such a cool picture!

Many blessings to your and your households my dear friends.

  • one question?

why you have a two pentagrams on your simbol?

  • hello my friend,

the 2 pentagrams symbolize The Bab and Baha'u'llah

  • daste hame ye mara begir

    ya baha

  • To torozen23, please check the facts prior to making a false statement, can you find or name one Baha'i who did such a thing??!! People these days ain't like past they don't buy your garbage any more, unlike you they research, they read and they ask and more importantly they think!! come out of your shell and look at the horizon, world is much bigger than your eye ball and people are more knowledgeable than you think and they don't like it when people like you underestimate them!!

  • bahai is beautiful! <3

  • I also am a Proud Persian Bahai. This song is beautiful.

  • don't show pride in your race, i take pride in the humanity ahah :P

  • Well either way I do because if we didnt have persia we wouldnt have had the bahai faith.. think about it.

  • @persiangirl12 wow that is so ture, never crossed my mind....thank you...

  • I love the Bahai Faith:) KM

  • Proud to be a Baha'i

  • In my opinion, Dastam Beguir is the best Baha'i hymn that I have ever heard and I knew that it was a hymn on first hearing even though I had no idea what the words meant in Farsi.

  • sourpatch2007

bahai is not from texas please read the history abdul baha was bor in tehran iran he was a persian and bahai started in iran not texas america

  • @Aryamehrbozorg - I think you're mistaking what sourpatch is saying, I'm pretty sure he's saying HE'S from texas, not that Baha'u'llah is ;)

  • Dr. Yunis Afroukhteh wrote this

  • That makes just as much sense. Yunis Khan was very close to Abdu'l-Baha and loved Him very much, and was known for writing poems about Him.

  • <-------Baha'i from Texas, NOT IRANIAN :)

Most Baha'is are not from North America or Iran.

    Love and Peace

  • I really wish I could get some chords or tabs so I can play this on my guitar :\ (I searched and couldn't find any)

  • Debunking the Myths: Conspiracy Theories on the Genesis and Mission of the Baháí Faith.

In 89 pages, this work provides an analysis of the most widespread anti-Baháí allegations raised by clerics and Iranian polemicists over the past century or so.

  • I love this song. Makes me cry everytime. I had the honor of going to Haifa and every time i listen to it I just get so emotional.

  • About 200 years ago the Government of Iran set out to persecute Babis, Baha'u'llah in that time followed Bab, He was thrown into the jail, after 4 months Baha'u'llah and His family were sent into exile. They traveled to Baghdad, the Government of Iran decided to send them to Constantinople then they exiled Him to Adrianople and finally they exiled Him to Akka (Israel) There He passed away and the place He is burried is Bahai's Holy place. We never wanted and want to take native people's land

  • I hope ! Made me Cry

  • me and my dad were talking about this song and he told me a famous persian man wrote it as a poem. can someone please give me the name of the person who wote it? thanks

  • from memory i think it was Mr. "meshkin qalam", who wrote the poem. I hope i have helped.

  • Mishkin Qalam was an Apostle of Baha'u'llah, who showed incredible faithfulness even when separated from Him and exiled to Cypress with the covenant-breakers. He was one of the greatest calligraphers ever to live, a truly brilliant scholar and a man with an amazing sense of humor.

He was also a true friend to Abdu'l-Baha, and I think it's in every way plausible that he was the author.

  • wow men u just simply put millions of words about Sir Meshkin Qalam in a paragraph n its amazing. Meshkin Qalam is indeed one of the greatest calligraphers ever lived on earth. Abha to all my Bahai friends around the world, peace.

  • Exactly

  • My understanding is as follows:

In 1910, Habib Muayyad was a student at Beiruts American medical college and became ill. His situation continued to worsen and pretty soon he was completely overcome with much pain and great suffering. One night, he stayed up and wrote this poem thinking of his Beloved Abdul-Baha. In the morning, he had perfect health.

  • this song makes me cry everytime wow

  • this song gives me chills everytime i hear it. thank god for the wonderful voices of the people who sang this song

  • Well, Its look that Abdul Baha is british & covered himself in iran & present himself as any religious scholor while he loves to visit British + glad to take photos with british peoples and with thier children. 2ndly now a days Bahai's main Headqaurter is in Israel Haifa which also proves that they have nothing to do with iran and irani people.

  • During their lifetimes, they were exiled by the government and imprisoned in Akka, which is how they ended up in that country. However, during their lifetimes it was also not Israel. Not until many years later. Baha'is see Iran as the cradle of their faith.

As for loving British people, 'Abdu'l Baha saw all humanity as one family. All created from the same substance. People were people and children were children. All were created human. There was no bigotry in him.

  • u have no idea what ur talking about, all I can tell u is do some research and u will find out the truth.... aalso doesn't matter where he was from... bahai's r not only Iranians

  • This is beautiful song. It gives me encouragement. Thank you.

  • Abdu'l-Bahá dastam begir hameesheh.♥

  • Can anyone please tell me where I can download this song? I am getting married and would love this played at the ceremony. Thanks, Shamim

  • Dear Shamim, Please purchase it if you like it. It is from the Baha'i World Congress recording I believe. (Dark Blue CD). There is also another recording on the album "Songs of the Ancient Beauty" Vol 1. If you are having difficulty finding either of these, please write back and I will search for you. Kind regards, Melanie.

  • Can you please post a link to the lyrics for this song? I really need the English translation.

  • Hold Thou my hand, Abdul-Bahá, Abdul-Bahá, Thou art aware, Thou art life-taker and life-giver, Thou art the guide of every wayward, Hold Thou my hand, Abdul-Bahá, Abdul-Bahá, I am wretched, I have no hope and am lost, Like a babe in the cradle, Hold Thou my hand, Abdul-Bahá, O Jehovah, resplendent Lord, Have mercy on this ill one, O promise of the tribe of Abraham, Hold Thou my hand, Abdul-Bahá
  • @kitsolo9 Is this an English translation of the words? I am a Baha'i (relatively new) and I have been wanting to perform this song (I am also a musician) but I don't know Farsi. I'd love to learn it in both Persian and English, even as soon as for the upcoming Declaration of the Bab this coming weekend.

    Thanks for posting.

  • O Hadrat-i Abdul-Bahá,

O Center of the Covenant of Bahá,

O builder of the House of God,

    Hold Thou my hand, Abdul-Bahá,

    Abdul-Bahá, have mercy on me,

    Sacrifice my life for Thee,

    Sacrifice it for Thy locks,

  • You seek help from God or Abdul-Baha?

You seek help from God or Baha'ullah?

What God you bow down for?

  • We seek help from God through Baha'u'llah.

We bow down to the one, the only God.

  • We seek help from Allah through Bahaullah who is the image of the living God through his virtues. We honor Abdul Baha because he is the perfect example of a Bahai.

  • You seek help not only from Bahaullah but Abdul Baha as well. If you truly seek help from the God that you claim to, why don't you Baha'i followers just say the name of God. Why don't Jews or Muslims pray to Moses (PBUH) or Mohammad (PBUH) for help? Because we believe in one God and we seek help only from him. In fact, before Prophet passed away, he told his followers not to worship him but to worship God.

  • @MrHolyGoat are you retarded?

  • thank you

  • thank you for this video

  • beautiful song

  • wonderful, thanks

  • Can you please post a link to the lyrics for this song? I would love to teach my children. Many thanks.

  • Please purchase the album 'Songs of the Ancient Beauty' vol 1. It costs as much as a pizza, and lasts longer.

  • Thanks. I have this CD and there are no lyrics included.

  • Yes, sorry I see what you mean. All the other lyrics on the album are there except that song. I will see what I can do and get back to you.
