I started reading this but stopped a couple of chapters in when it became obvious that is was majorly watered down

Yeah, that's a good way to put it really, 'watered down'.  There's still some good stuff in the book, you just don't get the 'stone cold truth' :p

Austin will never tell truly how he feels about Vince unless he becomes a good enough actor to not have to come back and make special appearances.
