  • That looks more like a metal cutting saw blade. I would opt for one of the light weight folding saws that hunters use to trim brush..Would work for breaking out of jail.LOL

  • Too much fuss to put together. I would not carry it as a bushcraft saw. It seems to function/perform better as a hack saw, but even a standard hack saw seems more efficient.

  • Great piece of kit,excellent

  • Nice. This is similar to the Canadian made Trailblazer pack saws.

  • where'd you get this saw? can't seem to find it on ebay or easily on the net?

  • Bought the more agrresive sven blades and used a nylon screw and nut to replace the split rings. Very sturdy, fast cutting saw.

  • Nice tool!!Haven't seen anything like this here in the US!! Is it made in the UK or CHINA ??If in the UK it is probably a good tool then!.If could find one here it would be made in CHINA like every other piece of junk that is imported, that we are forced to purchase!! Thats why I try to buy surplus, when I can ,even then you have to be careful because they are into that NOW!!! Figures, and I DO NOT BUY THAT CHEAP JUNK SHIT!!!Thanks for posting!!

  • I bought one of these at a pawn shop in Concord North Carolina at a very resonable price. Excellent saw that cuts great and is very portable and compact.

  • great review, looks like a pretty neat product

  • i didnt realize this thing was so innovatively simple, i think im gonna try to make my own from copper tubing or PVC pipe i got laying around the shop.

  • PVC tube is probably bad idea. It will crack under just a larger pressure

  • a hand chain saw would be more compact and more effective i think but good review interesting piece of kit

  • i suppose it might be better but i like the tried and tested gear from bcb

  • great vid as always wall2rockclimber 5***** i just got one of these for £1 plus £2 shipping

  • where?

  • ebay mateof the bcb ebayshop

  • can you give me a link to it, I can't seem to find it?

  • Things we need:

url/internet link to websites that carry this saw and stated dimensions including weight.

    thanks.

  • The Name is in the opening credits and the end credits at 04:52. All the info you need is on their website. Dont get others to do the work for you. Go look for yourself.

  • Are the nobs on the tightening bar plastic? Also how are they attached? .eg. a nut in a plastic nob.

    thanks muchly :)

  • Looks good.

When it is packed away if shook does it rattle at all from any of the tubes touching each other or is quiet ?
