  • @aCleverLittleGirl, GODSPELL = Gospel of God. It's the Gospel of Matthew as told in song. I'm not religious, but I thought the show was incredible! The actors were on spot and fantastic at what they do.

  • to @WWEQAF 1. Yeah, Lindsay Mendez IS amazing - even on stage and live. 2. Where's Nick? He had something else to do so Eric Michael Krop got to play his part. He did a damn fine job of it too when I saw EMK do Nick's part on stage on Broadway.

  • saw it yesterday. bit too religious for me.

  • @aCleverLittleGirl did you read the title before going to see it?!

  • @83mmwill yeah. my mom wanted to see it >< lol

  • 1. Where's Nick?

    2. Lindsay Mendez is AMAZING!!!!!!

  • Hunter is so sexy :) he's perfect

  • I had no idea he could ACTUALLY sing. Well done Hunter!

  • @20655501357633 He was fantastic in Spring Awakening too. (He took over the role of Melchior after Jonathan Groff left the cast.)

  • I love this performance, but it doesn't do justice to the staging and energy at Circle in the Square. If you watched this and decided to go see it live, be psyched for something even better. If you watched this and still felt unsure about whether you should go, stop questioning it and GO.

  • @Gaulkosaur I totally agree! I have seen it twice already on Bway. This performance on Rosie is good, but the actual production at Circle in the Square is fun and even more spirited. The cast really feeds off the energy of the audience, too.

  • Enjoyed this performance. Hunter's voice gave me chills (in a good way!) and Lindsay had me dancing in my chair.

  • Beautiful City is perfect for Hunter's voice. And Lindsay is perfect. Period.

  • Beautiful City was not in the original production. But it was in the movie.

  • Love the cast....plus they're super nice.

  • Love it !!!!! ;) Good job, guys !!

  • What a talented cast! I love the first song. Did they add it on to the Broadway show? What is it called?

  • @cmbroadway The first song is Beautiful City. The current version is stripped down from the original version. It was in the 1973 movie, not sure if it was in the original stage production.

  • @itsmecass Ooooh okay! That's why I didn't regconize it! I haven't seen the movie in awhile and it wasn't in the production of Godspell I was in. Thanks!
