  • My favourite song of Duran Duran. I loved it when it first came out during my teen years, I still love it today at 34. The sound, the melody is amazing, even if the lyrics have nothing to do with my life. I'd love to see someone skating to this.

  • This is quite simply a very good song all round

"Lamya was scheduled to release her second album, Hiding in Plain Sight, in 2009, but died of a sudden and unexpected heart attack on 8 January 2009, while in Oman. She was only 35.[5][6]"

  • I love everything about this song, and this live version hits the spot.

  • i agree with juniornutshell this and come undone were up there with here best.

  • The best band to come out of the 80s - by far - even their recent music is great.

  • @Bawbster1 , Better than U2 ? They were awesome though. I saw them in concert.

  • That was so good.

  • Incredible band !

  • I am yet to hear a variation of this song that I don't like. It seems to have come after their peak, but the song has the most enduring following of any of their hits.

  • @juniornutshell

You're right nutshell jnr, this was quite a few years after their heyday.

I was born in '71 so am an old "Duranie" who was fed up saying to people "i'm telling you, they'll be hailed and admired in years to come" and most people laughed snottily at my 'lack of taste'...and then they released this in the 90s and the new romantic fashion came back in the 2000s. All i can say to those doubters now is...fu** you all....no sorry, i rest my case.

  • @adnamanwad agreed. been a long term duranie as you put it. this song although after their prime is stll amazing. it brings some enw fans into the fold Eh?

  • @juniornutshell I remember when this come out, and I didnt know it was Duran Duran for ages, I was very shocked when I finally bothered to find out.
