About the dragon: This twenty foot dragon, the smallest dragon in the parade, made it's ninth appearance this year. It was first seen in 2000 for the "Year of the Dragon." The dragon was made for kindergarten and 1st graders, holds 6 kids plus one holding the pearl. The dragon blows steam and FIRE but for safety reasons, does not do this during the parade. The dragon lives in a cave under westportalschool (dot) com
