So, **SPOILERS!!** 'n' all here, but...

The Guardians who show up (a.k.a. the Matrix Brigade) are all supposed to be Utroms too, right? And they're supposed to know Shredder is an Utrom (inside a humanoid cyborg) also, correct? Then why would they announce Shredder's defeated when they see the cyborg's head get cut off? Surely they should know the "real" Shredder is inside the torso... Ah, plot inconsistencies... where would Saturday morning be without you?

You know, this is what I do not like about the show. Every time the turtles defeat the Shredder they show him not quite finished at the end of the episode.

It would be so much more thrilling if they just took that part out and let us find out in another episode.

You know I was thinking the same thing but you have to remember that this show is for kids still. I think they really pushed a lot of things with set-boundaries. Kinda like how raph shoots down foot ninja and the first 2 you see escape safley BUT when donatello shoots the other one, he straight blows up. It's like a "kids filter" that they still have to put up. Later on they pull off more morbid stuff, baxter later on returns in another show and..... you'll see what I mean :)

I loved how Shredder brought up the Tokugawa clan. It shows us just how old he really was, and brings up reference to a badass historical daimyo. Those guys basically ruled Japan back then.
