I love CS but it's eating frame rate,so i wanna know is you configuration suitable for that version of FS and CaptainSim add on.Just for reference to know what conf. im going to need.

I have that bird and I like it very much, only issue is the cockpit lighting, it would be nice that if you switch from white to red dome the lighing in the cockpit would change too

Todays 727s? DId this plane ever had a modernisation done to its avionics.

Simple: switch autopilot to "nav loc" and press the keyboard button which is bound to "switch NAV1/GPS" in FSX (if any, if not, bind one urself).

Doing so makes the aircraft follow the FSX-Flightplan without any FMS programming.

You use the standard views menu in FSX to switch to exterior view. I use a combination of the hat switch on my yoke and TrackIR Pro to move around in the view.

So do you work for free? if you mean just this specific product, I don't think it should be free, but based on its current state it shouldn't cost more than $25.

No pun intended, but it's the price we all pay for wanting to have it as a new release. It could have been better out the door, but then again no software is perfect. At least they have a history of releasing service packs to fix issues, unlike other folks like Wilco/FeelThere who release something and call it done when it has 4 engines configured and will only work with a 4-engine throttle, when the plane really has only two :)

This is an awesome simulation. Everything is not perfect yet, but they will be coming out with an SP soon.

All real good sims are pricey. There is a lot that goes into them.

Gosh sakes, it cost around 40 bucks for the jokes Abascus makes!

This 727 is amazing as far as I'm concerned and will get better with the service packs.

I agree with SWFan77 this CS they dissapointed big time, regarding the cockpit sound if you CS forum there is a thread that tells you how to get all the button clicks etc regarding the engiine sound is way too dissapointing they said they did not bother for because they thought the 737-800 (well to me the MSFS default sound cause all the default jets sound the same)

I saw the thread about why they didn't include engine sounds, which I agree, completely ridiculous. They include custom engine sounds on their 757 and C-130. All this model appears to be is the existing 727 model they had with a VC in it. For that alone its not worth the price, which in USD is around $84.

Pretty much all quality aircraft add-ons are going to cost more than FSX itself. However, I will say in the case of this particular 727, its not worth the price as it ships. There are some bugs in it as well as no sound set.

VSI never indicates above 800 fpm. EPR indications are generally wrong. No cockpit sounds for switches. Thrust is way out of whack. It generates way too much, you'll fly off the runway in about the same amount of space as a small Cessna.

thnks for your reply. Im quite dissapointed, i heard that they released the original 727 unfinished without a cockpit and now they released the full thing but its still incomplete. I'm gonna save my money for the Next Level Simulations' A380
