Hello, I work at the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry, CT. We used to have a copy of this video that we would play for our guests before each house tour. The DVD went missing about two seasons ago. No one at CT Landmarks seems to have another copy of it. It is really a shame that we can no longer show it to our guest because it was a wonderfully concise way to fill folks in on Hale's story. I read on a book that the british found with damning evidence, outlines of their defenses and all that good stuff. So Nathan Hale openly admitted he was spying. The british decided to hang him almost immediately. Nathan Hale asked for a Preacher and the British declined, he asked for a Bible and they declined then before they could pull the latch he said his famous quote "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country".
