The ECW "invasion" makes no sense. They run in, attack Abyss to save RVD, then everyone in TNA's locker comes out to defend TNA. From what? A one night reunion show and Dixie Carter laming up the TNA ring with her boring presence. Dixie is a bigger waste of screen time than even Hulk or Eric. What was with showing her pacing - click click click her high heels clicking? People don't tune into TNA, and new people won't, to see Dixie lamely delivering a promo while calling it a promo.
@fjccommish it does make sense if u pay attention, Abyss has been stabbed in the back by Foley.. If u look at last weeks impact, Abyss looked shocked to see Foley there...i was not expecting "they" to be the ecw originals, too simple... but, it does make sense booking wise. It's subtle.. and not everyone will notice or get it. But it does make sense.

Those ideas from the WWF were not all Russo, he had a part in it, but he was part of a group of writers and had Vince McMahon as a sort of filter.
The 4 way match between AJ, Lynn, Phycosis, and Low-Ki/Senshi was awesome, one of the best matches ever in TNA. I wish they would have more of that and less bullshit

The ECW "invasion" makes no sense. They run in, attack Abyss to save RVD, then everyone in TNA's locker comes out to defend TNA. From what? A one night reunion show and Dixie Carter laming up the TNA ring with her boring presence. Dixie is a bigger waste of screen time than even Hulk or Eric. What was with showing her pacing - click click click her high heels clicking? People don't tune into TNA, and new people won't, to see Dixie lamely delivering a promo while calling it a promo.

@fjccommish it does make sense if u pay attention, Abyss has been stabbed in the back by Foley.. If u look at last weeks impact, Abyss looked shocked to see Foley there...i was not expecting "they" to be the ecw originals, too simple... but, it does make sense booking wise. It's subtle.. and not everyone will notice or get it. But it does make sense.

@IndyWresltin Russo was gone by the time guys like Daniels and AJ got there. I read his book because I though it would have some interesting stories, not self-serving crap. He hasn't really had any success other then what he did in WWF, but even that was not entirely his doing, McMahon and others had alot of input aswell. When Russo had free reign, like in WCW, it was a horror show.

Russo didnt leave TNA t'ill 2004, and in 2002 Russo not only booked but had an on camera role so... really, what the hell you saying??? @IndyWresltin Russo himself has stated that his input in TNA during his first tenure there was minimal, he wasn't writing for them.
Those ideas from the WWF were not all Russo, he had a part in it, but he was part of a group of writers and had Vince McMahon as a sort of filter.
The 4 way match between AJ, Lynn, Phycosis, and Low-Ki/Senshi was awesome, one of the best matches ever in TNA. I wish they would have more of that and less bullshit

And ya, he had Vince filtering stuff, just like Bischoff now does, and IMPACT has improved since.. it's completely ignorant to say TNA needs to focus more on X devision, they've tried that for so long.. didnt make em grow as a company one bit...so why continue? I dont mind watchin sum highflyin, but half of em dont even know how to sell a move, they been worked and jump on the ropes like it's nothing

@IndyWresltin So the ECW guys worked Foley up so he would attack people. Then they ran in to stop him from attacking people. In other words, they created the trouble they came to stop. It only makes sense if the writers didn't know where they were going with the story. They thought they were writing an invasion, but then it changed to a ECW one night stand kind of show.

Heyman is to blame for ECW it's downfall. Noone else.

Now we have over the hill jobbers coming into TNA as if they're superstars. Writers changing their story mid-story. What happens one week to the next makes no sense. "Al, what were you doing" whined Dixie. We want to know too. If she brought in these ECW guys for a reunion show, why did the ECW guys attack people in the ring and why did TNA people attack them?
