El acatistos es pues un hinmo de la iglesia de constantinopla, en honor de la Theotokos, en la cual se denomina asi pues la cantidad de gente que lo cantaba era tan grande que no se podia estar sentado, bienvenida este canto.

Este himno es muestra de la devoción entrañable a la Madre de Dios, la bienaventurada y siempre Virgen María.

en mi parroquia decimos "alégrate" en lugar de "Dios te salve"

Sin embargo no es lo mismo.

"Salve" es un saludo a la realeza.. y es Dios quien lo está haciendo a través de su ángel y a través de nosotros al decir: "Dios te Salve". En cambio Alégrate le quita el caracter Real a la virgen y el hecho de que es una alabanza que hacemos junto con Dios mismo.
