I found out a trick to this. If you put the edelweiss in FRONT of the batomyss itll damage the tank but not kill it and it wont move. Then you just need to get an engineer to repair it. Dunno if this is mentioned in any of the walk throughs but i just decided to try it once wondering if a tank could get run over.

Dude this is so fuckicng impossible how the hell did you kill her!? Ive tried 5 times to kill her n everytime it took me hours to almost kill her then BAM im dead, GAME OVER! I destroy 3 ratiators, then 1 left n the witch bich mows down 70% of my team in 1 turn! Then when i final destroy the last radiatior i have to shoot the tank to destroy it!!!??BS!!! it has 100% life and each missle blast only removes 4%!! I did it on my first try after hearing from everyone how horrible this is. Even so, it was a bitch. Just when you think you've completed the mission, the game throws more shit at you.

This battle pissed me off, it was very cheap. I spent ages blocking the thing with my tank not knowing that you have to let it knock down barriers. The that bitch came along and wiped out a load of my squad because I had no idea she was coming and had my guys in the wrong place.

This games difficulty is mostly from cheap moments. I almost quit playing on this level just because I felt the game fucked me in the ass.

Took me more than two hours tonight to figure out how to beat the entirety of this level, but by then I had at least realized that it wasn't nearly as ridiculous as it had initially seemed.

Of course, it goes without saying that if Miss Selvaria had not been hell-bent on mindlessly hugging the über-tank at all times things might have been very different...

Thanks for posting this, I tried to lock the huge tank with Edelweiss (backed by an engineer) but aparently the mission bugs and it's impossible to do any damage, even climbing and shooting directly at the 3 weak spots...

That was a hard mission. I was so angry when they destroyed my Edelweiss for the third time only one turn from the victory. This mission was the first one which I had to learn from my mistakes repeating it over and over again...

Here's one strategy I made that saves time in stalling the Batomys. (for first timers)

After the first two turns, send the Edelweiss "in front" of the Batomys. Tanks don't cross tanks so it won't go anywhere, but it will shoot with its main cannon at least two times. If you have enough HP, you'll survive one turn, just keep an engineer with you. While you stall, destroy the turrents and bring down the debris. You can move the Edelweiss out of the way after that.

Yeah, looks pretty bad. Although, maybe a suicide rush could deal with it... but then again, I heard suicide rushes don't really give you a victory.
