I agree. Fortunately for me, I found another website where I can buy concert tickets for most bands/artists, but I would need a Rogers cellphone. It's only for shows in Canada. But I would love to see a cell phone company selling exclusive concert tickets for the U.S. One of the biggest benefits is that I don't pay the service charges. I've gone to several shows already and even saw a free Coldplay concert this year. I'm from Toronto, by the way.

I call Ticketmaster and tell em what's up and they say, "We're sorry, but those ticket purchases for your card never showed up." We argued for a while and there was NOTHING I could do to get my money back so I was stuck paying for 300 dollars worth of 2ND ROW tickets to a show I really wanted to go to and couldn't even go because of those fuckheads.. Smh..
I agree. I have never paid retail price for a ticket on ticketmaster. I just tried iheartradio. I was right on time too... I'm sure I won't have any problems finding them on resellers websites for $400, $800, $1500, etc...
file a complaint with your state attorney that ticketmaster giving all their good tickets to their sister compaies: ticketnow, livenation, and who knows of others.
Hello, I know that this video is a year old, but I'm going to comment to it anyway. While ticketmaster does sell the tickets, it's actually the venue that is in charge of when tickets are released, one what dates they're released, and where those seats are located in the venue. When tickets are released on presale, those tickets are open for anyone to grab. Purchasing tickets on the internet can be frustrating, but you can always call and our sales reps can get you more specific tickets.

me and semtane got tickets for bullet bmth and atreyu and they arrived fine... they cost £24.50 it total including P&P and your whining about them abusing there monopoly? seriously tickets are expensive but what you get for them is worth it(unless your watching lady gaga) and yes they are conviniant, alot more than searchin around it took me literaly 3 minutes with my dad and those tickets were sorted,to make an account too.

Don't just report them to the BBB. Report them to the Fedreal Trade Commission. You can do so online. Ticketmaster screwed us out of 4 tickets, and kept our money. And made my children cry. Ticketmaster sent me an email telling me basically that they don't care, but if i'd like to, I could purchase tickets to another show. (Right.) I just read about an alternative website to Ticketmaster: brownpapertickets (add the appropriate dottcomm to the end).
They claim on their website that their fees are capped at $1.99 per ticket, which sounds great to me! If only artists would start using their site instead of going along with their fans being ripped off by Ticketmaster aka Satan.

A new stadium was erected in downtown Des Moines a few years back, and they found very quickly that, because the employees who work there get first access to tickets, those employees are actually selling out all of the shows by buying tickets for themselves and their friends and neighbors before anyone else can LITERALLY purchase a ticket on the market!
TM is indeed the devil and their prices are absurd, but It's not uncommon for stadium pop tours to sell out in seconds and you were trying to purchase tickets to a very popular tour, so getting bad seats was not their fault. Try again doing the main sale and cross your fingers.

An alternative is desperately needed for both:
TicketMaster / LiveNation and Fandango / MovieTickets.
Last but not least, all of these venues need to be much cleaner, especially the bathrooms and garbage removal.
Really ridiculous to charge so much for substandard service.
